Gross, old food. Rude waitresses. We was seated right next to the waitress station and could here them grumbling about all the customers and lack of tips. How can we tip you when you literally set our drinks down and never came back. Chicken was raw on the inside, and cold. Place was just a mess. Never will we eat here again

This golden corral isn't a good representation of the franchise. On a packed Saturday night they never have food on the bar thus your not getting your money's worth. And a steak house with no steak sauce is classic. Overall I'd choose a different location besides Merrill rd location if you want your money's worth

Great place with a large group of people. Our waitress has been the same the last few times and has always been very very nice! Food was fresh filled as soon as it was emptied. Enjoyed the variety and no wait.

Visited for lunch today. 7-10-23 Walked in, everything seemed normal. Paid the manager, running the register, and preceded to my seat. Grabbed a plate, and headed to have my lunch. No less than 10 items missing from the salad bar, including the seafood salad. I never complain, thought, I'll make the most of it. I asked the gentleman behind the salad bar, " Sir, do you know when the seafood salad will be available?" Response, "as soon as that truck is unloaded" I moved on. 10 plus pans sitting empty in the hot foods selection. No fried chicken, no broiled fish, no pot roast, etc. These are main dishes. Why would the manager allow you to come in, pay full price, for a bar that's 1/3 stocked? The only 2 actions would be, sir we are limited, but you can dine for half price, or, sign on the door we are closed for the day. I paid full price for a terrible experience and only a 1/3 of the menu items. The burgers even seemed over done and left over from the day before. I honestly was blown away. I mentioned it to the said "manager" and I'd have had a better response from a kindergartener that just got caught eating glue.

Outstanding and efficient buffet! Thanks for honoring veterans/military! Salad bar (cole slaw and cuke-tomato salad yum!), taco bar, grilled meats made to order (I had two succulent cuts of steak!), soups, tons of delicious and varied veggies/potatoes/mac and cheese/sides (be sure to try the homemade BBQ potato chips), and dessert/ice cream bar (hot apple cobbler w/ vanilla ice cream, oh yes!). Table service for beverages. Free parking. Friendly staff!

Feasted for the first time in a long time at the Golden Trough. Waitress was pleasant and on the ball. Everything I ate (salad, burgers, fish, rice) was very good and tasted freshly made. Plenty of parking at this always-busy restaurant.

Mostly delicious,but the salad area needed refreshed and the staff filled quickly. Clean and welcoming.

It was definitely delicious! But there wasn't as big of a selection. The icecream was no good and the rice was hard in spots.

Haven't been there since before covid. There were a lot more choices, if you can believe that! Very clean atmosphere. Friendly service. We got in on a great special from a coupon. I was happy that they had plenty of steamed vegetables and baked fish.

*** You know you selected the wrong place, when you and others have to filter through "clean" plates to find a decent one**** Golden Coral is not the same as it used to be when I was growing up. Fresh food, good selection. At bare minimum could count on the hot buns and cookies..... Not any more. I tried the chain again after about being put off 3 years ago. Still hasn't changed. Food is lackluster, most can't even keep the place looking moderately clean. This one is no exception! 👎🏽 I will never pay the price again. Used to be a nice place to take the family on a modest budget. Now you take your significant other if you don't plan on a second date smh

Food was pretty good, with a decent selection. I liked that my 6-year-old son had a good number of dishes to try so he could see what he likes. The only problem I had, was that the fried chicken tasted like the oil needed to be changed before it was. Other than that, everything else was on point. Service was good, though we had to wait a bit for our drink refills. All in all, my son and I had a pleasant time here, and we look forward to coming back to this location.

The service was great. However, the food was bland as usual. Everything was unseasoned, except for the steak, which was the star of the show: Delicious! If you want great food, where everything on the buffet line is seasoned perfectly, every single time, go to Ole Times Country Buffet in Brunswick, GA. You're welcome.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! Most pans were empty. What wasn't empty was old. Salad tasted bitter. No dessert out. No staff behind the bar to even ask for fresh food. Dirty dishes and floors. We were traveling from out of state. The WORST Golden Corral we have ever been in.

The good: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was actually tasty. No complaints on that end. The bad: nobody could show me the code on my receipt that I needed to get my points. Was actually told that I might get a code on my next visit. Really? The ugly: I have never in my life been in such a nasty disgusting bathroom! I have been in port-a-potties at the circus that have been cleaner! I walked in there and I now have to throw away my sandals. The picture I have attached is after I scraped off some of it on the curb. JUST FROM WALKING IN THE BATHROOM!! To be honest, I would be afraid to wear the sandals again because of what sort of disease I may get. My niece went to the far stall and seriously almost threw up. The was fecal matter all over the toilet and walls. How the hell does this restaurant pass any sort of inspection?

Our group was seated in a room with no A/C. After someone mentioned how warm the room was, we were moved. The wait for some of the food items took up to 45 minutes after repeatedly asking the cook about them. Our server did an excellent job!!

This place is filthy. That is mold on the ice cream machine. They really didn't care when I brought it to their attention. Food was not properly heated or cooled on the buffet. Someone really needs to check this place out from the health department. Wish I could of gotten my money back. It would of been cheaper to go to outback or someplace else like that.

NO MEAT AT DINNER except mini hamburgers, greasy bourbon chicken, and dried out meatloaf! No chicken, no anything... At 4pm on Saturday, most food was empty at the bar. And the restaurant was yelling announcements at their employees over the loud speaker. Plates & bowls were difficult to acquire as well. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Servers were inattentive to guests trying to get anything like refills, etc. Food was okay not very appetizing. Many items needed to be replenished. Yeast rolls were cold. What turned my stomach was the ladies room when my granddaughter had to go. One customer was on her way out with a grimace on her face. When we entered, I knew why. The odor was eyeballing. It smelled like a week-old litter box. All the toilets were full, unflushed except one which I had her stand and squat on as both of us gagged trying to keep from throwing up what we had just eaten. I almost took her outside to squat in the parking lot.

We had a large size party, and the waitress Brooke did a great job in accommodating all our needs. It was easy booking a reservation for our large party in the banquet room. The food could've been better as far as staying stocked.

It's a buffet. Come with the right expectations, and you won't be disappointed. Food is ample, varied, and, for the most part, tasty. Sometimes, an item might be over or under cooked a touch, but it's likely to change when the next pan full comes out. You're probably going to spend @$20 per adult, including drink, and it's pretty much guaranteed you won't leave hungry and everyone in your party will have found something they like, from your salad and veggies folks, to steak, shrimp,chicken, and the other items like wings,BBQ, fish (fried and baked). Atmosphere is family, and service is primarily refilling drinks and removing used plates. For the most part th ladies earn your tip, as you never wait long for either of those actions to happen. As long as you go in to enjoy everyone eating what and how they want,(yes you can even start with dessert) and not as a food critic you will come away pleased!

I love this place. Mom ALWAYS WANTED THE FRIED CHICKEN! I lost her this year and I smile remembering her eat her fried chicken, which is really good!! It wont be the same without you mom but I will enjoy here with our memories! Its worth a stop. It is usually a dang good buffet with so many choices, you will love something. The service is eh.

I had to go through more than 5 plates and several bowls because they were diirty. It had old food residue like bbq sauce and other stuff on them. I brought it to the attention of the man working in the salad section for the bowls and he just said ok and didn't remove the stack in the holder where you could were still extremely dirty. He only removed the bowls I took out. lettuce pieces were all super huge and not the correct size for salads. The bbq was hard and overcooked.

Hello. I eat here at least once a week. I am a senior and my bill is generally about $11. All you can eat you can't beat that. I love to get my fried chicken here and fried okra, and I also like the mashed sweet potatoes and the cornbread. I like to get there between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. and I've never had a hassle there.

Ingredients on Salad Bar fresh and delicious. Skillet Cornbread was a welcomed accompaniment. Tried fried Okra (unimpressive). Bourbon Chicken very good with adequate sauce. Fried Shrimp large and tasty although they were available only once during my time there. Another parton's inquiry about the Shrimp was met with "their cooking". Later went to get Shrimp, still none. So tried one piece fried fish, few onion rings (neither were good), and a mini-cheeseburger from grilling station which was very good. Dessert was a slice of Pecan Pie, one Peanut Butter Cookie, and 2 Sugar cookies all as expected for buffet fare. Overall left very impressed. Our friendly server was most attentive with beverage refills, clearing used dishes, and cleanliness of the surrounding tables. The initial greeter/cashier was pleasant and answered questions skillfully and happily.

We got here around 3pm and the salad bar was great filled up. The fried chicken was tasty and hot. They had a good selection of other entrees like pizza, sausage and sour kraut, cheese burgers etc. Desserts were tasty but commercial in taste. Good service.

Very nice, We enjoyed our dinner so much. Parents do need to assist their little ones more at the dessert bar and maybe keep an employee in the area as little hands may be grabbing what they can reach.

Did take out for me and my 96 year old mom who LOVES the fried fish and chicken. Food was fresh and hot. Even spotted the manager checking buffet for proper temperature and making sure all items were full.

Great food and I don't like just any food. The pot roast and mash was too die for. The ice cream was not ready but that's ok, over all everything was great and the staff

Always great customer service. This is my children's favorite place to eat because of the variety so we go for a lot of their 'dinner night picks' when they get the opportunity to choose. It's rare the staff is not replenishing the food and making sure it's up to standard and temperature. Out of dozens I've only had like one mildly unpleasant experience and the staff handled it right away and turned it around. Overall, it's a pleasant place to eat!

Overall Rating is def a 5 star rating. Service was fast, friendly, and accurate. Food was delicious, hot, plenty of options, and very appealing. Restaurant inside and out was very clean and sanitary along with a welcoming and organized appearance. Everything was up to par and I have not a single complaint or concern. I highly recommend this location for any size dining party to try out for themselves.

I was there yesterday with my partner and I am very disappointed with the cleanness of the restaurant. Me and my partner were sat at a table with a napkin holder as well as the salt and pepper shakers covered in dust.
