Going through an abortion isn’t easy whats so ever. It takes a toll on your mental, physical & spiritual health but Sue made this experience as smooth as possible. I’ve never met a person filled with so much compassion. My first call to the clinic was with Sue; she stayed on the phone with me for about 40-60 minutes discussing everything pertaining the first trimester & abortion. I felt fully equipped for my first appointment better yet extremely at peace with my decision. Thanking this clinic for the amazing service & special thanks to Sue for the support & guidance. You’re amazing!

I don’t like doing these but it had to be done. I’ve been coming here for 2 years for HRT and never really that much of a problem until now. When the nurse called my name and saw who I was she seemed a little uncomfortable but I didn’t really let it bother me much. Waited 20 to 30 minutes to get my blood drawn and they weren’t busy at all, it was literally only three of us there so it didn’t make sense, usually they’re done in a heart beat but this day was off. After everything was done I went to my pharmacy the next day to pick up my prescription. Normally they send the prescription over to whatever pharmacy you have on file so I didn’t have a prescription to hand them. Went up there only to be told that my pharmacy never received my prescription and she showed proof that they never sent it over. I went back to my pharmacy again the next day and they still didn’t have it which told me that they never sent it over to begin with, the prescription is usually ready the SAME day. Knowing that they never sent my prescription really made me feel like they were discriminating against me not to mention the cold stares. To all my trans brothers please don’t waste your time going there unless you have no other choice. Not to mention since I’ve been going to them I’ve had a few nurses say shady jokes about trans men still having certain parts. TRUST me, they WILL let it be known that you still have your insides, I’m not kidding. Oh and they will talk sh*t about you and they will misgender you while your waiting in those rooms, happened to me twice. These people clearly don’t rock with us so just save your time if you can.

This place is absolutely terrible with communication. The nurses respond to messages and emails super late. I’ve been waiting for 2 months just to hear what my ultrasound scan results are and my nurse still hasn’t called me about them. I’ve sent her multiple messages and alerted the front desk multiple times that I need to hear from her. If these nurses have their hands tied then they should be assigned assistants to help them keep in touch with their patients. Majority of the time the front desk doesn’t like to answer the phone, or when they do, they have an attitude and are unprofessional. This place is just all around extremely unorganized.

I had an appointment at choices to get an IUD put in. Before the appointment I was given medicine to make the experience as painless as possible and once I got to the building the staff made me feel very comfortable and safe. I will definitely go back to choices if I need their services again. (for the sake of transparency I will say my mother works at choices but regardless of that my experience was a good one)

I am SO glad that I went through CHOICES to have my baby. The midwives were all so kind and caring -- and so very skilled at their jobs! I had alot of fear and anxiety about childbirth, and they all put me at ease. The midwives I worked with were *so* knowledgeable and helpful. I truly felt they cared about me and my baby. I had the best birthing experience I could have possibly asked for -- leagues and leagues above what I've seen and heard from people who've had hospital births. I love that they cover the whole range of reproductive health, from birth control to actual birth! There were a few times the wait was a little long, but that happens -- and it didn't happen nearly as often as when I go to other medical facilities. My partner (male) was allowed (STRONGLY encouraged, actually) to come to every appointment and was never denied access into the building. I never saw anyone forced to wait outside. There were a handful of times that I saw people (individually and as couples) in the main waiting room. I can only imagine that anyone asked to wait outside must have presented some sort of issue while inside of the clinic. I know there are individuals who would show up outside of the clinic with rude signs. Thankfully, there was security there that kept them separate from the patients. If you're considering using CHOICES for their midwivery services, I 1000% recommend them. I tell all of my friends if they are ever pregnant again to give CHOICES a chance. EVERYONE deserves CHOICES.

I recently had a procedure here, and the staff was always really nice and supporting. I felt really terrible about what I was doing because of the way I grew up, but the nurses had this nonchalant attitude that made everything seem okay if that makes sense (as in, they definitely are not there to judge you.) As a woman of color the diversity amongst the nurses and doctors was also refreshing and very comforting to see. I am not from Memphis and this place was one of my only options on a time crunch so I was nervous about going at first but again, a really great clinic. If any of the staff reads this: thank you so much for everything, what you guys do never goes unnoticed.

This place is totally amazing everyone makes you feel so great and at ease. No matter what you’re there for the staff really does care and are attentive. All of my questions were answered quickly and accurately. The free birth control is a great plus. The wait is long but that’s to be expected at a doctors office.

I had an overall great experience here I was very scared and nervous about being judged but the staff here is very respectful and kind. There here you no matter what it is you need they’re very sweet and amazing. Me personally I had got an abortion and it went well. They do offer financial help to. You can easily set up an appointment online with no problems. If I ever had to come back for any reason I would come here they offered pretty much everything for women’s health

I had my first baby here and when I tell you, TEN OUT OF TEN WILL RECOMMEND. I won't be having my baby anywhere that isn't Choices. The midwives are amazing when you finally get into the program. I was fed up with the way the OBGYN was treating us as a new family, so after waiting 3 weeks for Choices to call me back, I went up there and requested that someone called me back. The obliged and I fell in love! You don't need a OB if you're going here. The midwives are a part of your family now, they build a relationship with baby in the womb, dad and you. They listen to your concerns. They genuinely care. I would have been so scared to birth my first baby without TiTi Kemetra. With their knowledge I could surrender to my birth without fear. They comforted me, they loved on our family and they helped me deliver a beautiful baby. I will NEVER forget my midwives. The also care for you postpartum. If I wasn't leaving to go to Atlanta I wouldn't go anywhere else. PLEASE Choices, open up a location in Atlanta. This was the most beautiful experience ever. I can't even fit my whole experience in one review. -Ebonee Davis

this place needs more phone reps nobody should have to wait 2 hrs on hold for a simple question or appointment. in memphis, there is a huge wait list for abortions in general and something needs to be done about this issue. what is it's too late for a patient to have a legal abortion?! not to mention the medical issues one may have!

This place is very unorganized. I wouldn’t recommend. They don’t have any records that I came to a visit and now saying I have to find a OBGYN because they can’t no longer care for me. I sent them my records from my old doctors twice and they still don’t have any records of it

Very rude, the people behind the service desk should NOT be allowed to work in a so called "safe environment." They're very dismissive to new patients and have no regard for our situations.

The best place for prenatal care! Every midwife is incredibly knowledgeable and ensure that you’ll feel heard, understand what’s going on in great detail, and you’ll actually get to make your own decisions for your care. I would never go anywhere else.

They got me in out so fast, yet they were also personable, empathetic, and never made me feel rushed. Very very thorough and made sure I had no questions. Thanks to these incredible women.

🫤 Dr. Lacy is an outstanding doctor. However, her office is so poorly run and impossible to reach the majority of the time. They don’t ever return calls, even when I leave a voicemail. I had to call repeatedly for weeks just to get an appointment. I also got lab work done and no one ever called me wit...
