The BEST takoyaki I've ever had, so creamy and tender. Also some of the best ramen I've ever had. I had the spicy shrimp and added spicy bean sprouts. The egg was perfect. Good service, cozy inside. Highly recommend.

I was scared when I had to heat up my food on the stove. All of the cold items were so cold that it totally chilled the broth. I ordered the spicy creamy vegan ramen. After heating it up, which was a bummer, I got to enjoy the deliciousness. I’ll definitely be going back. I’m vegan and I can’t find flavor fully cooked meals. I usually cook all of my own food. I’m going to be a regular here! My kids tasted and begged for us to go back, which we definitely will. Portion was huge and will make another meal for me tomorrow. I hope this place stays!

Kami Ramen was amazing! The food was fresh and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and she had a great personality. I loved my Creamy Vegan Ramen it was the right amount of spice and I added the pork to it. We were celebrating my son's graduation from U of M and I AM so glad we celebrated at Kami Ramen. There was a 15 min wait, but we got seated within that time, so no complaints there. Our server was attentive, but didn't pester us so we could enjoy our time. She was quite helpful in picking dishes. We got the pork gyoza for an appetizer, which wasn't really special, but good. Our waitress suggested the chicken curry to my boyfriend, and he wasn't really impressed - said it was bland and lacked flavor compared to the Asian curries he's had before. I got the tonkotsu black ramen, which I was really happy with. The environment here is a bit lack luster and cramped, but it was a good place to get ramen, which is what I came for.

So delicious and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the fresh ingredients. I ordered pick up & the service was very fast. The greeter was very nice and quickly gave me my order. I love how the broth came separately from the ramen. Everything was packed well and no spills even when the bag tipped over in transit. Food was still nice and hot after over 30 mins from pick up.

I had the opportunity to enjoy dinner here a few nights ago. The ramen was huge and delicious. The Takoyaki and Goyza we're fantastic as well. Highly recommend. I hate that I don't recall the server's name, but she was amazing, kind, and patient with my father. Thank you.

OMG - I’m a first timer to this place. Being a vegetarian and having GERD - This is the best place with lot of options for people like me. We had Vegan Don, Spicy creamy ramen, and vegan Kami bun. Hats off to the chef for making the menu vegan and vegetarian friendly. Our friends had steak and chicken ramen - smelled so good. The taste, authenticity, and aroma of the spices in the restaurant was very much inviting.

This place is very authentic in terms of taste and ambience. They had pretty nice Halloween decoration which was impressive. Ambience is good but the kitchen is right next to seating area which causes all the cooking smoke to be trapped in the restaurant. You will have a strong welcome by roasting smells. I ordered a vegetarian ramen and found a shrimp dumpling in my meal and was a little concerned hence the 4 stars. This ramen was authentic tasting and I would go there again.

Excellent. Some of the most delicious, authentic ramen I've had. Amazing service and atmosphere. I can't wait to return!

My daughter & I decided to check out this place. I normally only do Ramen when I’m traveling but decided to take a chance. The place is decent but small and a bit cramped. The soft shell crab tasted a bit fishy. I’ve definitely had better. However the Ramen was surprisingly good. Me & my daughter both had the spicy chicken ramen with a few added extras. The broth was flavorful & the portions were just right. My only con was our waitress. I ordered a large sake & she only brought one cup to a table of two. When I asked for another cup she responded “for?”….1st & foremost you should never respond to a customer that way. Also it doesn’t matter why I’m asking for another cup. Just bring it as requested. Lastly if you want to inquire about why I’m asking for another cup there’s a way to ask without sounding rude. Luckily our food outweighed the service hence the 4 stars. I’m normally a big tipper but, she received a standard $5 tip. Hopefully she’ll think carefully about her response to customers going forward.

Wonderfully mouth-watering ramen! The panko chicken ramen is phenomenal and the shrimp ramen is my go-to. I love that I can add tons of other vegetables to add even more flavor. The gyoza and tempura shrimp is delicious. So, so filling and satisfying. We love eating here and will continue to treat ourselves to their wonderful food.

Kami Ramen Bar is amazing. I ordered takeout and tried the Chicken Curry with broccoli. It was exceptional. The inside was very clean and I did not wait long to obtain my food. No problems here. Definitely will be going again!

Every single part of my experience at this restaurant was awesome. The decor inside is very beautiful, lots of options on the menu and the food was amazing. Karema was our server and she was very nice and friendly. She was attentive too and made sure me and my friend had everything we needed. I haven’t had ramen in so long and I was happy to visit Kami Ramen because the ramen was DELICIOUS. I felt like a nap afterwards it was so good! The pork gyoza was fried fresh and perfect too. Green tea was on point. 5 stars all around! Thanks again to Karema as well she made our visit even more pleasant 🙌🏽 -Tina

Nice, cozy, hip joint for eating a bountiful , hot and fresh ramen. We were there in late evening for ramen. I took the spicy shrimp one, and my friend ordered a curry based chicken. Humongous fried chicken pieces were there on top of a curry based broth. It was very tasty. My ramen had a few big grilled shrimps and the broth was spicy. Both of them were good. The quantity was huge for me, I couldn’t finish, so had to take it home. My friend drank a Japanese orange soda. The bottle opening was fun! At the end, we are a fried cheesecake as dessert. It was mediocre , and nothing fancy. Update: I went back for dinner and this time I tried the spice shrimp ramen. It was not much spicy for me, however very tasty with an umami kick.

Food was good. Service was decent. Like their takoyaki. Prefer their vegetarian broths over their pork or chicken.

This is my first time to try a Japanese Ramen and this place is AMAZING!!! I ordered a slurp up cilantro and steam dumplings, the food was done within 3 mins!!! Also the food is soooo good! I’ll definitely come back!

Yummy appetizers, fried to perfection and good portions to share each! I loved the pork dumplings. The food portions are huge, almost enough for 2 people, I had plenty of leftovers! I'd recommend the goyu ramen with pork and bone broth, egg, etc. The waitress was very sweet and provided excellent service.

An amazing place to get a good bowl of ramen. There is quite a variety of options. Great and quick service with large portions.
