Been a loyal patient here since July 2020. Today I had a doctors appointment and they couldn’t find me in their system. They sent me to building 1 and they found me but my name was entered in the system incorrectly. My PCP is booked until December and I’ve been having health issues for the last 4 months. They gave me a nurse practitioner and they said I was never here before… couldn’t pull up any records at first. They could not refer me to the specialist that I need to see and the nurse practitioner said they could not do anything for me since I’m not currently having symptoms. They told me to wait until I have another infection in order to get a referral… what “doctor” says that? Sent me to the lab to give a sample and I walked out. Coming here today was pointless. They literally do not care about your health. I feel totally disregarded. Never coming back. The only doctor that was good to me and very understanding was Dr. Cortes.

Do NOT TRUST this facility. Nurses claim they cannot call me, so I spent over an hour with my phone company - NOTHING WRONG with my phones. It is THEIR PHONES that are screwed up. Then, my doctor purposely told me "do not trust the front desk people". What?? Received 2 bills for OUT OF NETWORK expenses, outrageous, unprofessional, and immoral...They have a serious responsibility to inform ALL PATIENTS of expenses BEFORE they are incurred. While attempting to communicate with a nurse, I became aware of her utter lack of grammar skills - couldn't believe my eyes. She communicated with me in incomplete sentences, vague, and terribly rude. Clearly, I was very unimportant to them. There are QUALITY facilities out there, you must work a bit harder to find them. The only reason I went there was because I saw them on the side of the road...Stupid me!

Treated by Susan Brown NP on Jan 4 for cough that was driving my wife nuts. No other complaints, but Susan suspected more based upon examination and ordered Flu test which was positive for Flu despite vaccine last November. Consequently, she ordered appropriate meds for Flu and they have collectively done the job. I have nearly recovered thanks to her professional, personal, and thorough diagnostic skill. I did not have an appointment at the Clinic but was seen quickly, and I will continue to use the SouthCoast Clinic for routine medical issues. I could not have had a better outcome. Thank you for the attention and expertise.

The wonderful people that work in the lab are extraordinary. I am never worried or afraid of having blood work done here. The last time I had blood drawn, I had to actually look at my arm to believe she had put the needle in it. For me it was painless.

My Dad is important to me. I felt he was important to them. From the check in to the actual doctor visit, it was smooth, helpful and pleasant. He made my 87yr Dad feel comfortable. I appreciate his kind mannerisms, willingness to listen and the insight. We didn't feel rushed. We will continue with this practice.

Renee was empathetic and, even though it was after 5pm, she checked to see if someone was still in the ultrasound dept. She also put in an order to get me an ultrasound appointment the next morning. She is very good at her job!

Let me tell you how disrespectful and unprofessional Dr. Cortes is. On 9/20/2022. I was informed by the staff to bring my mother in and he could see and do what we need done. (Medical evaluation and etc) Upon arrival I was several questions I did not honestly know and that's when staff became rude. Cortes entered asking what we wanted and while I was trying to explain became rude. I shook my head and disapproval and he acted as then if somehow I had disrespected him and asked me why I was upset. When I was trying to explain to Dr Cortez but I was feeling upset he had a temper tantrum and left the room without hearing my side of the story. As I tried to gather more information to get to him so I can explain my case he became even more irritated with my response. When I finally got a nurse on the phone from my mom's nursing home to explain what they needed he then proceeded the lie and gaslight me by telling her that I was rude to his staff and that was rude to him which was not true at all he had been rude and unprofessional since the moment I had walked through the door..... I had tried multiple times to try and reason with Dr Cortez and talk to him like two grown adults he would not accepted to hear one word for my mouth and would throw several temper tantrums before leaving the office room. In the end he could not do what we needed done and had failed at trying to explain his reasons as to why he was not professional nor did he care about my mother's well-being or the respect that we deserved from a professional the only redeeming quality was the supervisor that came to talk to me and my mom who I was able to explain my story and full to and show her my point of view and was very kind and curious and offered us different options to seek out to get her the help that she needed I am thankful for her help but I will never recommend anyone to doctor Cortez in the future nor will I be returning

The staff up front is very friendly. The nurses are amazing especially Jackie. I have the best doctor out there. Doctor Knight is a great doctor. Most come in a room ask how you are doing and then leave. Doctor Knight does not do that he cares he listens to your concerns. As long as he is at South Coast Health he will be mine and my husband's doctor. Thank you'

She something all my prescriptions needed and make sure that I went and had blood work done. What a great nurse to have working with other practitioners. Thank you so much I appreciate her service.

Dr.Gresham and his nurse Keisha, was very concerned about my blood levels explained to me what to do when it's high and low. Keisha explain the free style Libre and she put it on me and help download the app. I love their positive, professional service that they gave me. South Coast is the best.

I have seen multiple doctors at South Coast Health and Dr. Thong is the ONLY one that follows up himself, listens to what I am telling him, he truly cares about his patients and it shows. Him and his nurse check to see how you are feeling, and remember you when you come in. Any issues I have had he always tracks down the issue and is comforting. Him and his nurse, and the front desk staff are the ONLY reason I stay. Thank you for being an excellent physician Dr. Thong! Your bed side manner, professionalism, and care for your patients is unmatched. I will be gutted when you retire!

He is such a great doctor. He really takes his time with his patients. Especially mine since he is completely deaf. Dr. Geffen really takes great care of him and myself!

Very nice office. Christy the nurse was exceptionally friendly and Dr. Scalla was quick with diagnosing my problem. He was very attentive and quite knowledgeable. I will definitely go back should I need to.

Dr. Knight is by far one of the kindest doctors I have met. He has an amazing bedside manner and is so knowledgeable about his area of practice. My mother is his patient but I went with her to her first visit with him and I know without a doubt she’s in great hands. Highly recommend!!!

Been going there for over ten years. From Dr Novak to Dr Knight. Both of them are very good. Been with Dr Knight for about five years now and he takes care of all my needs, makes sure my blood work is good and you can have just about everything done in one place.

  • 5/5 Randall J. 7 months ago on Google
The staff were all very welcoming and attentive. Dr. Knight was professional and informative, and he made me feel as if we knew each other already. It was a comfortable 1st appointment, and I am relieved to know I have made the right decisions that led me, to Southcoast Health

I've been a patient of Dr. Thong for over 15 years and he's been consistent with his care for me since day one. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, and his knowledge of so much more than I can imagine he knows. He cares and is so personable. I love his bedside manner and he goes above and beyond what he has to do.

My Mom went to see him for the first time. She thought he was excellent. He spent time with her and explained things to her. He was interested in what she had to say. It has been a long time since she was pleased with a provider.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cortes for a very long time. He is always personable and the best doctor I could ever have wanted. He always takes the time to sit down and talk and explain things and answers all my questions. I don’t know what I would do without him.

Most everyone in this office has a great attitude and makes you feel at home. What can be nerve-wracking for some, having your eyes messed with, can make people not take the care they should of their eyes. Please let the staff, and this Dr put you at ease with their careful and caring treatment of one of the most important parts of you! See you there!👁👁🫶

Dr. M (Moriarty) is awesome. Attentive and listens to your concerns. You can ask him and talk to him about anything. Hi is a great doctor and couldn’t ask for a better primary. I also see doctor Flood in building B. The most down to earth pulmonologist ever. He makes sure you understand and isn’t afraid to tell you the truth. He truly cares about his patients and loves his job. Couldn’t ask for better.

Dr. Gresham was amazing! You can tell he truly cares about his patients. He doesn't rush you and actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and what you have to say. He seems very knowledgeable and has great bedside manners. His nurse was very welcoming and friendly as well. The front desk was very nice and helpful when we walked in and when we checked out. Overall I had a great first experience!

Nurse practitioner, C, Karen Reed was amazing. I am very impressed with the service she provided me during my two latest visits in December 2022 and January 2023. Both visits were unique: one on a Saturday and the other was after hours. Ms. Reed provided me with a thorough explanation of my latest blood work, back from September. She gave me such an outstanding review of the analysis which I can’t not interpret. She was very patient, professional, and demonstrated such passion and care for me, her patients. Nurse practitioner Karen Reed rocks!! Thank you for this opportunity to share and provide feedback.

Very professional, explained to me what I was battling and got me on the right medication. Before I left out the room I told her that she was very pleasant. I never like seeing other doctors but my own but Ms.Renae made my day. Thank you again. Thomasina Smith and Dyanne Smith are the same people.

I've had nothing but problems with this facility. If it wasn't the only doctor locally that took my insurance I would go literally anywhere else. I moved out of Savannah over a year ago, have signed SEVERAL medical realeses and even spent several hundred on a round trip ticket just to go down there and personally sign another release form and still cant make appointments in my new state because south coast doesn't file things correctly. I was also repeatedly called a different name by my doctor, and spent far too many hours in that waiting room for the 6 or 7 visits I made overtime. The only thing about this place that's nice is a lab and pharmacy on site. You pay for convenience.

I am eternally grateful for South coast and all they have done for me and my family. Dr. Thong and his nurses, and the Nurse practitioners are superb. Their front desk isn't the greatest but I don't come to see them and they have always got our times right. I would recommend them to anyone. They even do an after hours clinic so why go to the ER?

This is literally the worst run doctors office I have ever been to but sadly, there are no other decent options in Savannah. The entire staff is rude and the 3 times I've been, my mom wasn't seen for 2 hours PAST her appointment time. She had an ultrasound and after calling every few days and stopping by the office they finally returned our call with the results...one month later. It's impossible to get a doctor to help.

Today was my first experience with South coast health I was extremely happy with everyone there. I got an education. Not just the answer to my questions. I’m a fan.
