Really nice place to eat with the locals. You can get dishes from 200to500 LKR. It is really tasty and all vegetarian 🌱 we like it to eat here 🤗

I visited the Nila restaurant for dinner during my short stay at Jaffna. The place was very easy to be found. Right in the middle of the city, in front of the Buddhist Center. The staff speaks Tamil mostly and are friendly. The food is yummy and seemed a little expensive. One Lassi and one large paper dosa with aloo inside costed me almost 1,000 LKR. The portion sizes are big and tasty.

Convenient, tasty and quality vegetarian food, you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner at a very low price. Located opposite to the Jaffna City Temple. For the lunch specially you can have the buffet also. Highly recommended restaurant if you have any plan to visit Jaffna tour.

If You want to enjoy the tasty Jaffna foods. This is the place. Specifically Indian foods Thosai, wadi, and masala thosai et, Clean and neatly maintained environment. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff but poor in the Sinhala language. Washrooms are available. Parking is available in front of the restaurant.

Best indian foods prepared by indian chefs can be tasted here at a reasonable price. Staff is good and inside appears to be good. Washroom and other facilities are available. parking is available but only for a few vehicles.

Usually a busy place. Food is cheaper. Few waiters can speak sinhala. Lunch buffet cost around 400/= you can enjoy jaffna rice and gravy.

Delicious vegan fare by the roadside. The service is quick. It's usually crowded and serve lunch until late afternoon.

Worst service ever experienced waited for whole 30 mins to get an onion Dosa no proper waiter to attend to the table and had very bad experience of beggers entering the premises. After ordering waited whole 30 mins and the waiter was coming back withthe excise saying he had to cook onian after and it would take more time even after complaining to the accountant. We saw many waiters sitting and just waiting this hotel doesn't deserve any stars one star is for that only guy spoke a little calm

Good place to taste Indian foods. It has only vegetarian menus.

Place is quite good and have lots of vegetarian options to select. Foods are tasty and prices are also reasonable. Only complaint I have about the place is how they provide the service to the customers. We had to wait more than 30min order our food. There are only two or three waiters available in the place. When place becomes crowdy with 5-10 people they stop taking new orders untill that previous group leave the place. So don't select this place if your in a hurry.

Good customer service, they can understand sinhala language

The food was enjoyable, with decent flavors that satisfied my palate. The shop had a pleasant environment, providing a comfortable setting for dining. However, it was quite crowded, making it difficult to find a quiet space to relax and enjoy the meal. Furthermore, the prices were average, not overly expensive but not particularly affordable either. While the overall experience was satisfactory, it's important to note that the shop didn't exceed expectations. It's a decent option for a meal.

Had a special biriyani and paneer 65. Special biriyani was worth the price with a lot of cashews, paneer and mushrooms. Paneer 65 was salty. Previously we had taken special masala thosa which was very good, but their paneer thosa just has tasteless, boiled paneer within the thosa. We had to wait a long time for the bill as priority was given to customers who came in high numbers

Crazy tasty food, with a great mix of south indian and sri lankan variations. Staff doesn't speak english, so we just googled everything, wrote it down on a list on the phone and showed it to the staff. They took a photo of it and they brought out the food. Btw, they don't have cutlery, only spoons. Amazing paneer kofta, especially!

This hotel is a vegetarian Indian food haven with reasonably priced, delicious food. Conveniently located within walking distance of the railway station, it's perfect for travelers.

Outstanding vegetarian dishes. I never felt those were vegetarian food. The restaurant is located in a convenient location. Specious and clean washrooms that are well maintained. Outdoor parking is available. The management runs two different restaurants at the same premises. Akshathai is the least cost one targeting price sensitive folk. Nila on the other hand is a bit high-end air-conditioned restaurant.

This is the best place to have a quality Indian meal in Jaffna. They have plenty of options to try. Their Paper dosais are superb. Service is very good.

Good place to get traditional Tamil food for a reasonable price. Staff is very friendly. And the service is quick. Waiting time for food is very minimal.

Akshathai is one of the best place to have a vegetarian meal. This place is very close to the Naga Viharaya Jaffna.

This is one of the unique Vegetarian restaurant in Jaffna. You can get the meals in a reasonable price. I visited lastly on 12th of December 2021. I had a Masala Dhosai and Poori one set. They are really good.

They share what they have. For Special biriyani - they provided paneer biriyani (just like a fried rice made from rice cooked in stock) For chapahy set - Naan given. But food is tasty and place is clean

Very nice place to eat. It's local and the food taste really good. Not too spicy. Ik van recommend the dosa.

Worst service ever! We were asked to move from table to table but we were never served. Waited for almost an hour but none of the waiters came to serve us. Ultimately we had to leave with an empty stomach and none minded our departure. It came as a blessing since we discovered a delicious restaurant just a few steps away.

In deed meals are delicious .. Take too much time to prepare meals.. Ice cream/Juices will take short time.. Charges are bearable.. Poor vehicle parking space.. Customer service to be improved.. No varieties for lunch and only they focus about evening..

We a group of 12 people dined in at the place. Good Food as well as tasty food. One can choose what he likes from a long menu. Most of the items are in the range of Rs. 250 to 500 which is very reasonable. The Thosai range is really tasty. The fried rice for dinner gives you a new dimension of vegetarian food. A good portion as well. The staff were very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits Jaffna forage good vegetarian food. The place is conveniently placed near Naga Viharaya
