Have a very unique ambience. The signature dish we had here was JAFFNA KOOL. It contains a lot of seafood verities such as crabs, prawns, cuttlefish and mackerels. The dish is like a stew with full of spices and have a strong spicy taste. Jaffna people are using this as a home remedy for fever like diseases even for COVID19. If you like to taste this authentic Jaffna dish this is a place you need to visit. We have ordered some chicken fried rice also.. that also came out well.. *Highly need improvements in the washroom facility. That is the only negative point I have on this restaurant.

Biriyani was too good.you can buy the best biriyani in jaffna,and price is also the cheapest and you will feel the real worth of money for biriyani.but the delivery is very very bad,I waited more than 1 1/2 hour so bad delivery

Foods are good.More time to get our ordered food. Bad customer service.Rooms are not suitable for customers. Dirty washrooms.Low amount of workers no one is understanding our words. Very bad hotel. But Government give "B" grade for their Hotel.

Food - cool, tasty Prices - well not the cheapest but not outrageously expensive either People - very nice and lovely Location - exotic in a way. Nice place for few pictures or selfies as memorabilia Few issues are there too. Sometimes they don't have what you want, so instead you have to make compromises and go for something else. The service was however really nice, amazing and friendly people. The place is in a very tranquil setting so, its very easy to enjoy food and company. Not suitable to have a formal gathering or a party, parking isn't available ether. Has a nice and long menu.

This is a great place to have home made Jaffna style fresh healthy food. The moment you step in you get the feel of entering a vintage Jaffna house filled with antiques and a small pond in the middle of the house. The television and the monuments are all classics and a definite treat to the eyes. The rice and curry is “Vera level”. The price is a bit above average, but the food is wonderful. This is currently the only restaurant that provides rice and curry with a wide variety of dishes that consists of green leaves, beetroot, carrot, dhal, potatoes, beans and grams. The main curries are chicken, fish, cuttlefish, prawns and crabs. They also have a unique Chicken biriyani that tastes yummy 😋. Four stars because the “Khool” used to be thick and great but recently with increasing customers, it has become a bit watery. You can also bring in your own alcohol and enjoy a session with your friends with the condition to consume side dishes from the restaurant.

Nice place will be there breakfast, lunch and dinner also, you can taste delicious food here, today i had ate dinner puttu and fish curry best quality of taste. there provide odiyal kool also excluding Friday specially there experts in dam puriyani located in amman road near by venus Speciality hospital PVT ltd

This is only about restaurant. We had very less choices yet what they had was ok and liked the service. Service was not fake very genuine.

Yarl Pardy is a good restaurant for Jaffna Tradional Cool "கூழ்" and traditional Jaffna food. Very calm place to enjoy and eat these food! Don't miss the Jaffna taste!

Kool (jaffna porridge) is good and tasty. But not the same taste everyday. 'Dam Biriyani's excellent! Need more parking space....

I went there for food. Especially I wanted to try the kool. I came jaffna for the kool. I found the kool they serve is good. And many people come there for the kool. And also i had seafod fried rice. That was awesome. And also had their chicken biriyani. I couldnt take any pictures sadly. And i think thats because they were that tasty i didnt want anytime wasted taking pictures.😉

We tried odiyal kool in here. Kind of spicy soup..portion is 500 ruoees only. They serving other foods as well. Biriyani fried rice and rice and curry too. To try odiyal kool please inform them as much as earlier possible. For odiyal kool u must visit wednesday or weekends. On other days they not serving odiyal kool. Staff is friendly. Parking available. Take away also available.
