A very pleasant and warm welcoming place. We stayed there for two weeks. Would have loved to stay there bit longer. Very friendly customer service. The staff treated us like their own family. Delicious typical traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was served everyday. Rooms are extremely clean. Also the rooms had all the necessary facilities. The location of this guest house is perfect for those who love exploring places as it is situated right in the center of Jaffna. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone who visits Jaffna.

Yesterday or a day before yesterday my friend and her husband went there. They told me that they saw a boy stand outside of the washroom and saw inside. And there was a lady and a man flirt im the kitchen without consider their basic need. To owner, plz take my review in your consideration and take action. Thank you.

Without doubt one of the favourite hotel stay. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staffs, the staff was extremely friendly. This is not a 4/5 star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. The spacious apartments were of good standard overall. Clean, good facilities. It was excellent for our purpose, as we were able to fit all our 25 members into the apartment. All respect to the manager who does a great job here;a true sample of excellent hospitality!!

Northern Residence is very comfortable and having customer-friendly environment which allows customers to make the stay enjoyable. And the staff is very helpful/attending to customers’ needs when needed. My ratings for the hotel are as below. - Rooms 4/5 (With A/C and Ceiling fan. No TV. Attached Bathrooms available only in Double Bedrooms. Beds and Mattresses are very comfy) - Bathrooms 4/5 (Much clean and with Geysers. Space is well managed. Bathroom Fittings are modern and easy to use.) - Food 3/5 (Was able to taste only the breakfast and tea. The taste is moderately satisfying. The main kitchen is clean and tidy. Lunch area is also maintained well.) - Staff / Customer Service 5/5 Very helpful, customer friendly, well mannered staff who’s always ready to accommodate the needs of the customers. - WiFi & Other Facilities 4/5 Parking only holds space for 5-6 vehicles. WiFi connection drops suddenly and the speed is moderate. Sofas and other furniture are very good and comfy. Portion’s Kitchen is equipped with spacious pantry and modern cook top and stow which needs LP gas cylinder(provided separately)

It was amazing and comfortable staying place where offering very delicious jaffna style food 🍲 with affordable price. Very Pleasent environmental to stay with best hospitality by staff. Very prominent and secured place to stay at middle of the Jaffna. When I was at the hotel I feel like home 🏡. Really I appreciate your overall services. I visited jaffna with my family & booked this place to stay. It's very neat & clean all rooms we got to stay with all facilities for the very reasonable prices comparing to other places as well as with the friendly staff. They provided us everything we wanted according to our request. We got very tasty breakfast & very close to special landmarks in jaffna. So I can recommend this place to anyone and enjoy your days exceptionally.

Service is not good. Food also very bad. I visit this hotel for last december on that time the service and food very very good. But now i don't know what happen for u. Very disappointed. Please make sure in the food supply. One more thing, there was a lady who knok my room door for once an hour and ask anything we don't. That disturb us a lot. That make me very angry. to owner plzz consider my request and review about hotel. The location of hotel is very good. But please take more consider in service as in the earlier period of ur hotel start.

We stayed spontaneously at Northern Residence in Jaffna. The staff was very nice and helpful and we had a very big and clean room! Can totally be recommended:)

Excellent quiet location, but close to temples and good restaurants. Very clean room and hotel. The manager was very helpful in taking me round to find a scooter to hire. Excellent breakfast that filled us up until dinner time. Highly recommended.
