I went there with a group of 30 and then there was no one to speak. Nobody at the reception. Then one guy came and said that all rooms are reserved by then. They also said that the person who’ve got the advance payment was resigned three months before. At the same time, they spoke to Manager there and he came in a while. Then he said that they can arrange rooms for us and showed rooms in a building near to the reception. But that building seemed not used for ages. We were so unhappy and disappointed coz the rooms were not worth for the rates. So we asked for the advance payment and they returned it after wasting our time. Am telling you guys, those photos published on their website are not real. You won’t find any room with that condition. I’ll post some of the photos taken for your information.

Truly the worst scam I've ever faced. The rooms were horrible just to step in. Don't fall for the pictures on the web. Either the outside photos were taken way back when the place started or the place were really under control. The pictures of the clean rooms are haux! If they have rooms in that condition, should be just a couple of rooms. Rest is just in a rat hole condition! Haven't cleaned up from ages. Dust and cobwebs are everywhere you go. You won't be able to get rid of the horrible smell out of your lungs from hours after visiting the place.

Average place to stay. If you want just a night stop while you travel then this is ok. Do not expect star class facilities and beware of mosquitoes.

This place is very useless! The owner and the co-workers didn’t even treat us properly. The lift service was disrupted. Water supply was really poor. After we had paid the advance, they didn’t give us our rooms. The rooms we had reserved, they had given it to some other people. To replace those rooms they gave us really bad conditioned rooms. Don’t trust this place and the manager & management . They are just playing with money and this place is not worth for the money.

The managing director, Pillaiyar Inn, No 31, Manipay Road, Jaffna Dear Sir, We the Abuthalib Sadaka organization, is a non-profitable charity organization. We arranged a family tour in Jaffna. We visited your place earlier and we informed you that we will be having 175-200 guests. You agreed to that and asked us to pay an advance and we paid 100,000 on 16th of May. You agreed to provide the kitchen for us to cook and drinking water facilities. As we entered the hotel, we faced many difficulties and I will mention each and everything below: 1. Lift facilities was stopped completely and our members who are old, they had to climb stairs up till the third floor and eventually they turned sick. 2. Water Supply was really bad. We were suffering without enough of water for all three days. Didn’t have proper water to even use the toilet properly. Even small children were unable to use the washroom properly. 3. The kitchen. The kitchen was provided in a place where the surrounding was filled with drainage water. Extra 15,000 was charged for this too. The kitchen was cleaned by our people too. 4. Earlier they promised that the banquet hall can be used for us, for lunch and dinner. And eventually when we went they told us to sit in the floor. But we didn’t use that, instead we ate outside in the parking area. 5. Drinking water. They didn’t provide the drinking water.They had arranged a water tank and stand and they told us to pay 15,000 to pump mineral water outside. Due to the above mentioned reasons, we strongly believe that this management is really a failure. The management didn’t treat us the way we want to be treated, instead everything was done for money! No hot water during our stay because it was solar powered and as it was raining for 2 days and there were no sun, we had to go without hit water. Not good for kids and old folks

I have stay this place 3 times.. room rate is still bit high compare with the hotel facilities.. basic Air conditioning double room is about 5000 rs.

Not clean enough. Taps and sink were not clean. Bathroom had smell of drain. Staff courteous and good
