One of the best hotel in Jaffna, this is amazing. Hotel itself has a nicely maintained green garden. We stayed one day. The room is clean and comfortable. Once you open the windows you would feel you were not in Jaffna. The view from rooms and setup is very ironic. The food was excellent quality, very tasty and spicy. The quality spice food is at another level, totally loved the food, and everything is on buffets. Hotel itself has two underground bunkers. One of them has arts and the other one has the history of Jaffna. I recommend to visit the bunker which has history of Jaffna, before you visit or start your journey in Jaffna. We have selected this hotel for relaxation and it was totally fit for our purpose.

Our stay at the Fox was amazing! The rooms were comfortable and stylish with everything we needed. The pool, gardens and buildings were beautiful too. We especially thought the food was incredible (some of the best we’ve had in 3 months in Sri Lanka!) , and the gallery and museum really enriched our experience, helping us to understand and appreciate the history and culture of Jaffna. The staff were also absolutely brilliant, so helpful and kind. We would really recommend staying at this wonderful hotel- we were sad to leave!

We visited The Fox few times fir breakfast and dinner this week. Excellent food namely mutton poriyal and buttered cuttlefish, it was scrumptious. Perfect customer service by Trevin and Gopi Very humorous people and made our dinner experience enjoyable Best Hotel amenities and ambience. Many other hotels in this area do not have lush gardens with lovely plants. It will be worth when you visit Jaffna. Keep up the excellent service

If you’re a tourist that never been to Jaffna before, I guess this would be good to stay at. Look around and do more researches. But the Fox Resorts is definitely one of the higher rated hotels in the area. However, for us, the room is old and rundown. Nothing compared to Colombo hotels for sure. Dust, spider nets and ants are everywherep in our room. Everything is broken or falling apart (shower head, bidet, windows, etc) We only went to breakfast buffet and they didn’t have as much variety but the buffets are complimentary. Overall we didn’t feel relaxing at the hotel. Just something very icky about it.

Well maintained and very efficient and friendly service the live wire of the hotel was of the hotel interms of service and friendliness was F&B supervisor by the name of Scotty. He made the difference when it came to hospitality. The food was tasty, but they can improve has to how frequently the food was replenished. The restaurant staff was very kind enough to provide a super service. However the reception can be more effective in terms of their role. They seem to be a bit aloof when it came to meeting customer guest requirement. Some of the items on the menus was a little pricy.

One of the best boutiques hotels and comparable with other hotels available in Jaffna this is Superb. The most amazing part I experienced was Garden. It was nicely maintained and couldn't even believe how they could manage that with so little water around. We stayed for two days and the food also excellent quality, very tasty and spicy 😋 as we liked. Superb Experience. Comparing the other places we stayed at the Jaffna, Fox is superb indeed 👌. The room is also cleaner and with good space. Anyways the most breathtaking part is Garden for me. The view from rooms and setup is very ironic. The Charing master chef 👨‍🍳 walking all around the restaurant discussing and tending the guests Personally. The quality spice food is at another level, totally loved the food, and everything is on buffets. The most amazing experience ❤️ I got in the Jaffna. I will definitely visit again.

Aesthetically speaking, It is a great place. There are a lot of beautiful locations to take photos. They have a large collection of oil paintings. The food menu is very limited, especially they don't have much for Vegetarians. The food they serve is very tasty. The customer service and hospitality is at the best in Jaffna. I would like to see a good expansion in the menu. It is a very expensive place to get a meal. The atmosphere is very peaceful here. I would recommend this place.

Really good place to stay, nice clean comfortable rooms. Free WiFi available for the guests. Good professional staff and good friendly service. Their food is teasty and good. Have a swimming pool, nice garde. Peaceful environment and clam ambiance for relaxation. Close to the town and many tourists attraction places. They also have a nice art collection.

Amazing! The staff work tirelessly to accommodate and serve. The restaurant food and service is impeccable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and great laundry service (everything pressed and clean). Only improvements include better driver accommodations, and managing stray cats & dogs on the resort and restaurant. But again, great food, great service! Would definitely return. Our family had a wonderful experience staying at Fox Resort while visiting Jaffna for a few days. The buffet was delicious with a variety of options to suit everyone. The service was also fantastic and a special mention to Derojan who looked after us very well and went out of his way to make sure everything was to our liking. I would definitely recommend Fox Resorts to anyone looking for a relaxing and homely time away.

One of the best hotels I have visited. Located on the side on the main road yet once you enter the hotel, you no longer feel like you are in the city. It's a hotel inspired by art and artists, but for me the main jewel of the hotel is its garden which is simply gorgeous. I must mention that the staff members were very friendly, helpful and responded quickly to our requests. Fox Resorts Jaffna is worth visiting if you plan on vacationing in Jaffna.

Visited The Fox Resorts twice once for take out and once for dinner and both times were great. Food quality is amazing but the timing to get it ready is a little long. Pricing is a little higher compared to other local places but the quality makes up for it. Very well decorated and will be back again

This is a stylish hotel and hideway in the hustle and bustle of the city, featuring a beautiful garden with a pool and lots of art. We had a spacious and clean room, dined in and were well taken care of by Scotty our waiter who went for the extra mile to serve us. We would recomment the veggie curry that was delicious. Very friendly manager and personnel.

The food and service here were simply outstanding. The food was delicious and expertly prepared with just the right balance of spices, resulting in an exceptional culinary experience. The rooms were also beautifully decorated, and the bed was particularly comfortable, which added to the overall pleasure of the stay.

Spent 3 nights with family ( 6 Adults and 2 kids), the experience overall was amazing. If looking for a more luxurious experience in Jaffna then this is the goto place. Rooms are pretty good and foods not too bad, but the service by the team is what makes this place worth it. The way we were looked after from checking in, the room service, housekeeping, restaurant to check out was all amazing. Special kudos to the guys who looked after us for breakfast and dinner everyday, went above and beyond. Definitely recommend. The only thing to be aware of is that the pool is a 4 feet lap pool so not ideal for small kids.

The Fox resort is situated in a very serene location. The premises are maintained well, with beautifully manicured gardens and statues. The pool and the backdrop were very eye catching. The temperature of the water is very warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean, but wished they had bathrobes, an iron and ironing table, and a larger counter space in the bathroom. The dinner was served as a la carte and what we chose came in abundance. It was a pity that the menu was in illegible handwriting on a full scape paper. The staff was friendly and efficient and engaged in small talk which gave that vibe of being part of the community. At checkout no one was there to put our bags in the vehicle. Some important aspects that you expect from a luxury resort weren't met. (eg" fresh towels at the reception, concierge service, toothbrushes weren't there, the products provided in the bathroom weren't on par with the resort standards)

Cleanest tourist friendly location with a gorgeous layout set in Jaffna. Very reasonably costing rooms and the food is good. The ice coffee was a hit by the pool!!! Ordered around 4!

The renovated period mansion is set in a well maintained garden and is well adapted to dispense an authentic experience of Jaffna. The incorporation of artwork by world renowned Sri Lankan artists in the interior also adds to the cultural experience - the bunker museum & art gallery are worth a visit. The Jaffna style meals were a treat as was the attentive & friendly service by Scotty! Chef Pushpendran also took time to talk to us about local recipes. The old building & rooms in the new block could do with a round of renovations and updates including the upholstery, linen & tableware.

But at the end the best was the stuff, so friendly, and attentive, we felt like home. Everybody always willing to help with a smile! That's the real value! Facility looked great. We did not stay just went for dinner. We wanted to order food but they said, only buffet. We went there at 9.15 pm. No refills came for the food. Only crab was there and it was very small. Chile chicken had only bones. For price, the buffet is not worth. For desert they had Taro. Foreigners were eating but when we tried it was sour. Told the waiter and he took a sample inside for the chief chef. The chief chef came outside and admitted that it had gone bad. They took the whole thing inside. Very disappointmented. Someone need to check these and we don't need food posing for our visitors from abroad.

Beautiful location and beautiful service. Scoty and the rest of the team at Fox Resorts made sure our stay was one we will always remember and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the resort. The food was great too! We had the Jaffna style rice and curry with crab curry and it was amazing. The devilled beef was a great dish too. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Just awesome!! Loved this place, the accommodation was clean and contemporary, the grounds were maintained to perfection and the staff (special mention to Amit and Nidhu) were lovely and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommended, hope the rest of our accomodation lives up to this very high standard!! Bonus - the bunker art gallery and museums.

Rooms were great and all the staff were friendly and cooperating. One thing to highlight is that the food is terrible. The buffet variety was so slim and even the available food items were not tasty and not well prepared. Deserves 5 starts if they can get their food items better. Have to mention the staff at the restaurant were friendly and tried their best to serve us. But again the food should be much much better for the price.

Compared to other hotels in similar grade this is little experience. But I would recommend as it's super clean and special staff is really friendly. Room condition is perfect and most importantly clean. It's a 5 star accommodation. Pool is super clean and what missing is a baby pool. You can't think of giving a negative feedback. Love the place and will visit again.

We were in Fox resort in December for three nights during the Christmas. The atmosphere was superb and the food was fantastic. The cherry on top was the friendly staff who went above and beyond to serve and support the guests. Definitely recommend.

Fox Resort is an amazing place to enjoy your weekend. They have limited menus but food was good. Service was really great. They took good care of the customers and suggested us to checkout the underground art gallery. If you are going to visit Fox Resort, don't forget to checkout the art gallery. It's filled with famous places in Jaffna. Fox Resort is good for photoshoots.

Superb Stay! Spent two nights there with kids (went there with family who are our friends). The facility is great, modern and is clean. The food is exceptional and the staff know how to take care of the guests. My daughter's 10th birthday date was on the second day and the chef together with F & B staff made a nice cake (of course for a reasonable price) and made it a memorable day. Recommend anyone to stay there - you get the Jaffna kind of feeling and the best hospitality with great Jaffna style food.

My wife and i had the pleasure of staying at the Jaffna Fox Resort which was an absolute pleasure. This resort has a very authentic feel. This resort has some history behind it which give it character as is bot like a typical hotel. I must say i have a excellent breakfast here and will most certainly miss it. The staff are beyond friendly and in fact Amithkumar i would like to give you a personal thank you for taking your time showing my wife and i around the resort as it will be a memory we will not forget. Highly recommended. You could say that Fox Resort is an "oasis in the middle of a desert". In such hot and humid climatic conditions in Jaffna, Fox Resort offers a stay in neat and comfortable rooms surrounded by a picturesque garden. The food was equisite and made in line with Jaffna flavours. The staff was very caring and attentive to our needs. Keep up the good work!!!

An eco friendly, comfortable, homely stay with friendly staff and personalised service. The food was good (you might find it spicy, if you are not used to the local cuisine), room service was excellent, staff was very obliging and the stay was altogether a great experience. The location is great too, about 5 minutes to town and the railway station. A good base to explore the Jaffna peninsula and plan your day trips. The hotel itself is housed in the ancestral home of a prominent business family and has a history of its own, which is well worth reading up on.

Beautifully decorated hotel with wonderful garden . Good swimming pool . Rooms decorated very well with comfy bed. The bathroom needs more attention . Restaurant service was not up to 4 star standards. Quality of food was not as we expected. Unfortunately, we found a fairly large stone in one of the Biriyani. This was pointed out, and I hope the food standard would be looked into and improved.

It's located around 5 to 6 km from the heart of the jaffna in KKS road. Rooms are available at a luxury price, yet the price you pay is worth the stay. We went for lunch, they have a nice restaurant. The food seemed to be on the average level, not the best but best food you can get in Jaffna. Friendly staffs. It's an old house which was renovated later after the war ended and there are two bunkers which you should probably visit. They have a good collection of arts and old history of Jaffna. Food prices are a bit pricey though, you may be able to get the same food at a fraction of the cost in Jaffna but you may not get the exact vibe that you get here.

Unbelievably exceptional! We stayed for three nights over the long weekend and were totally blown away by the service, the gardens, the hotel and just everything about this hotel, despite being fully occupied! Fox Jaffna is a haven of a hotel, with huge gardens, underground bunkers, a faaaabulous pool and amazing food. We just couldn’t figure out how the staff managed to check in on each and every guest – we could see that they managed to make a personal connections with and pay attention to each one’s individual needs – not just ours. It would not be fair to name a few staff members, as each one contributed to making our visit special – from the receptionists, to the waiters to the manager himself. Even the gardeners were brimming with enthusiasm and everyone worked so well together. It's wonderful to stay in a unique place with it’s very own identity once in a while, and we’ll be back many more times.
