I went to Pannai for a morning jog with my close friend, that place had a nice morning vibe with good breeze and it healed me but the thing that disappointed me is the garbage that is thrown into the beach

Always been there to get fresh air and witness golden Sun set.

This is a causeway connecting Kayts Island and Mainland Jaffna Penninsula. It is about 5 KM stretch cause way, purely man made. Big boulders was placed both side of the causeway and in the middle a lifting bridge was built. Whenever a trawler want to pass the causeway, they lifting it and let the trawler to travel across it. Now the Cause way is upgraded into two lane highway. Even though it was built to cater Kayts,but it connect Mandai theivu; and Pungudutheivu as well. Fishermen lay their fishing nets along the edge of the road. Traditional fishing nets are always seen all along the road side. As you travel across, sea waves echoes and cool moist air are touching your heart.

Better place for joggers.. Give a good environment to relax in the evening. Can observe sunset.
