Perfect choice whenever you want to have a family lunch or dinner. All varieties had been tried over the years but still we never get over with this place. Located at MI ROAD this is one of the oldest food joint of Jaipur. Highly recommended for veg food lovers !

sad to see the quality of the restaurant going so low. The dosa was stale and cold. The curd was too sour. Nothing good. Very expensive. The hospitality was awful. Unnecessary waste of money. I don't encourage anyone to go. Highly disappointed. Owner should look towards it

Earlier the food quality used to be really good. But when i recently visited i was amazed to see such a bad food taste and overall experience wasn’t good at all and also they have increased the prices soo much. I would not recommend you to visit Surya Mahal if you re looking for good food.

Worst experience, they changed all their staff members and the new ones are not at all cooperative. Also the food quality isn't good anymore and they took more than half an hour just to bring the starters!

Nice place great menu. Courteous staff, quality food and quantities items, what else do you need 😅. Enjoyed the veg Thali. Fresh lime soda was great.

Excellent place for vegetarian meals since 1954 in Jaipur . In winter authentic panjabi sarso (mustard leaves 🍃) ka sag with makki ki roti is must have dining 🍽 items along with Paneer tikka masala . They also serve South Indian dishes, Chinese, continental and nice bakery items. One of my favourite places in jaipur on MI Road for a nice dining experience. Mr.Pali and his sons runs this place with a passion.

This is the original and authentic Indian restaurant I would like to say original flavour of Indian food service. Had Masala Dosa & Mini Meal Combo of Paneer Butter Masala & lacchha parantha. Price is also reasonable

Food was delicious. However, the service staff was neglecting. Their kitchen is on two floors due to which we had to wait longer for our order items. If you are looking for delicious food and bear the lack of service do visit this restaurant.

While, the behaviour of staff is courteous and service is prompt and upto the mark. Food- The food served here was delicious and all the items ordered have some special aroma which you can feel on your taste buds. A visit to the place will not disappoint you on the point of food.

A good find, I didn't know its a branch of the one at MI Road. We went there looking for a cafe but the cafe was closed so we thought to to try this restaurant out. The ambience is decent, like any other normal restaurant; we tried tomato soup, garlic bread and nachos, everything was really good, better than my expectations from the first visit. Service was OK, nothing great, nothing to complain about either, while leaving I complemented the manager there that the food was very good but he didn't even bother to say a thank you or even a smile, so I doubt that you can expect a good customer service if anything goes wrong. He might be a temporary staff so I am not going to let his momentary behaviour have a negative influence on the restaurant rating; the waiter was courteous though. Luckily for us, everything was fine and the food super tasty, I am thinking to try their Indian section next and also hoping for a slightly friendlier staff. 😉 Go ahead, try it, the food is great.

The quality consistency of Suryamahal is such a delight.Their dosa tastes the same. The same crispness, the same delicious potato filling. Full marks to them for quality maintenance.
