Unkind staff, long-staying guests not welcome I recently stayed at this hostel for a few weeks, and I was very disappointed with the treatment I received from the staff. They were not friendly or helpful at all, and they made me feel like I was not welcome. One day, I was sitting in the common room when a member of staff came up to me and said that I should not come again just because I was a long-staying guest. This was very upsetting to me, and I felt humiliated. I understand that long-staying guests can be a challenge for hostels, but there is no excuse for such unkind treatment. If the staff had a problem with me staying for a long time, they could have said it in a more polite way. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone, especially long-staying guests. I have not mentioned the name of the staff member in this review, but I hope that the hostel management will take my feedback seriously and investigate this matter. This kind of behavior should not happen to anyone else.

I have been to Zostel Jaipur quiet a few times now. Itโ€™s a perfect place for solo travelers. The location is great, good cafes and eateries are nearby. The staff is very friendly, they can solve all your problems in a jiffy. You wonโ€™t get bored even if you donโ€™t step out. Plus, Zostel Jaipur serves the best blue lagoon.

My experience at Zostel was nothing short of perfect! From the moment I walked in, the staff's warm welcome set the tone for an amazing stay. The hostel's vibrant atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent amenities exceeded my expectations. The common areas provided a great space to socialize and connect with fellow travelers. The attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness were evident throughout the hostel, making me feel at home. The staff members were not just helpful but went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. Whether it was recommendations for local attractions or assistance with any queries, they were always ready to help. The location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions and making my exploration of the area hassle-free. I especially appreciated the thoughtful design of the communal spaces, fostering a sense of community among guests.

I had a very good experience here. The beds were clean and tidy. The room was clean as well. There is a kitchen where in you can make your own food. Food is available to order as well. If you don't want to do any of that , there are various resturants, eateries and cafes walkable from zostel. The guys at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. Any query can be asked and they are quick to help out. The place is safe as well.

Located in the heart of old "Pink" Jaipur, Zostel Jaipur is the best place for solo and bachelor travellers and visitors. WFH travellers will not be disappointed as well. ๐Ÿ˜‰ It had clean rooms and toilets and provided all the basic necessities! The crowd you get to know in the common room and through the visits organized by the Zostel will be the cherry on the top of your visit to the world renowned Pink City.

This was my first visit to ZOSTEL and had an awesome experience, great stay and made a lot of new friends. The rooms , kitchen , common areas and washrooms are cleaned daily and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. The property managers JEET and SHIVANGI are the BEST!!!. They are great hosts and plan all the events and keep everyone engaged and entertained. Food is good and is at reasonable price. All the tourists places are close by to the property. There is also bike rental services if you want. Overall this was the great experience. Will visit again. :)

Had a lovely stay. The people, vibes and energy of this place is unmatchable โค๏ธ. The dorm rooms are pretty clean and the staff makes the stay even more flexible. If you're interested in meeting new people and creating new memories go for this place.:^)

This was my first Zostel experience. Tosif and Narendra were very helpful throughout my stay. It was worth staying for a week and I had gala time. Location is perfect as a lot of places are close by so itโ€™s easy travel around. The food was okaish. The staff is helpful. The bathrooms can be little more cleaner. I stayed during Diwali week so people were constantly coming and going and it was fun to meet a lot of them.

Overall it's nice and I will stay here again if I visit. Good beds and customer service. The door on the room doesn't fully close so you hear people outside which I didn't like. You also have to remove your shoes at the front desk which I wasn't a fan of. For a 1-2 night stay, it was good.

I loved the location as its near to hawa mahal city palace etc and the common area, uff it has my heart. The service was good and they have common kitchen area. I would suggest that if each bunker has curtains and seperate little fan it would be great as personally I cant sleep without fan even when its cold.

I am a frequent Solo Traveler and was aware about Zostel from a long time. And tried Zostel Jaipur as my first experience and I would say it was absolutely worth it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cleanliness was good. And the location is really perfect for travelers to roam around. The Kitchen was good and common area was absolutely a chill hangout place. They had books, musical instruments, board games and cards, plenty of options for people to enjoy their stay. Really good experience.

3 days in the Jaipur Zostel and its been a wonderful experience for me. Its in the heart of jaipur, so visiting multiple forts is much easier from here. There is food available in the hostel and also varieties of dishes outside in the nearby area. And working is not an issue here, multiple WIFIs with 100+ MbPS connection is available. The rooms are neat and clean. They frequently clean it and sanitize the room. You wont be bored anytime as they have game and entertainment room. You can play table tennis, Carroms, and other board games. You can play multiple musical instruments for free. And they host games/trekking to nearest forts every day. Overall its a great experience and its worth the money!

Zostel feels like home. The amazing hosts and the amazing people we get to meet here just make any trip 10 times better. I have made many friends in just two Zostel visits. Jaipur Zostel is so clean and beautiful. The common area has such good vibes, we spent the whole night there with others singing, chatting, playing music. Kudos to Zostel!!

Highly recommend staying here, look for no other Hostel/Hotel. They have a range of rooms from sharing to private rooms. The check-in experience was smooth, the staff are friendly, more importantly, the place is clean and well maintained. They've good wifi. We saw they were sweeping and mopping very often. The bathrooms are well maintained too. The property manager, Jeet is very accomodative and arranged fun activities and tours.

I visited the place post new years, initially the place was packed and there were a lot of restrictions, as the days passed and when the crowd got limited, we enjoyed all the amenities inside the hostel. The property manager(Jeet) was very helpful, he also took us for a city tour and organized fun activities in the night along with the bonfire. The kitchen staff is rude, when asked for the food, also the kitchen timing doesn't make any scene, if you're working from there you have to manage food according to their schedule rather than your comfortablity. Overall good place, just make sure you visit the place during off season to enjoy the fullest.

This was my second time at Zostel Jaipur and I couldnโ€™t ask for a better time there. Although the rules were a little stringent this time. Pros: - Amazing location - Helpful staff - Clean dorms & washroom - Decent food at the cafeteria - Separate workstation with ample charging points Cons: - Rooftop was not accessible - Wifi is a little unstable on the second floor All things said and done, Kudos to Jeet (property manager) for taking so much efforts for keeping the atmosphere lively. Will miss the mafia nights for sureโœŒ๐Ÿผ

Got to meet amazing people from all across India. This was my first solo trip and Zostel guys especially Vikul took us out for Nahargarh trek. We were 24 strangers doing this together! It was so much fun. We also played multiple games at bonfire together! Must try vikulโ€™s suggested restaurants for non-veg foodโ˜บ๏ธ it was yummy! The rooms are good, clean and has all amenities. Itโ€™s very near to major tourist points in Jaipur.

What makes a trip memorable!? Everything from travel to food to stay adds upto the experience. Zostel Jaipur contributed to the wonderful time we had in this city. The terms with which they function are very tourist friendly and flexible. Weโ€™ve happily been here for all 3 days and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Jaipur. Food options are great nearby and buses too. So, yayyy! A great choice and an affordable one for sure ๐Ÿ˜Œ

I had a fantastic experience at Zostel in Jaipur! The proximity to tourist locations, coupled with a variety of activities like trekking, bonfires, and game nights, made my first trip memorable. Perfect location to visit almost every tourist destination in Jaipur. I stayed in a 4 room shared dorm and hung around Jaipur with my new found Roomies which was just amazing as I made a lot of memories with all of the previously unknown people. ๐Ÿ˜„

Stayed here for a day in an 8 bed mixed dormitory. This was my first experience in a Zostel and it was so pleasant. Everyone was friendly and the entire place was super clean. Common area is a great place to connect with like minded backpackers around the world and they had a lot of games to play like Zenga, Uno, Monopoly, Chess, Table tennis, Carrom etc. Bathrooms were clean and everything was so quiet, so you can have a peaceful stay after a long day. They also had their own bike rental services if you need(apart from ZOSTEL booking). Located nearby Hawa Mahal so everything can be covered on foot and you can take buses/auto/e rickshaw to major forts. Highly recommended. Tip : Check in time is 12pm but if you reached early, you can stay in common area and wait or freshen up.

I had a fantastic time at Zostel in Jaipur. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms are always spotless. Not to mention the common area, which can be utilised as a work station and offers you with a quiet spot to attend all of your meetings and work peacefully....to be honest the crazy and an amazing was discussing Cricket over chai ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ loosing mithai ka dabba..

We booked two rooms, which were fine but below issues no warm water support, door lock was not working for 1 room, bed bugs all over in room. There is a sign which specifically says use water effectively & when called the reception the instructions were keep the water running until you get warm water, which didnโ€™t work so total waste of water!

I had a very good impression of Zostel, since I tried a few Zostels in Himachal Pradesh. However, coming to Rajasthan Zostels was a little bit disappointing. Specifically for this Zostel, I want to provide a summary of my experience below: 1 - The biggest disappointment was for the 4 bed dorm room that I had booked - the website shows "common washroom". Generally, even when a washroom is common in a dorm, it is inside the room. The bathroom was actually outside, which was common for the whole floor (Which means you're basically sharing it with what 25-30 odd folks, if not more?), which is not what I got from their website - completely unfair. This should be clearly stated on the website so that we can make our decision to book/ not accordingly. 2 - The price for this 4 bed dorm was high considering there was no AC and the bathroom was common to the whole floor. 3 - I also had heard some rumours about stuff getting stolen by the staff, which is not what I want to experience while travelling. Having said that, my impression of the staff is that they were friendly. I'm not sure to what extent is that true. I'm just putting it out here. 4 - Even the lockers in the rooms are just latches basically and not really locks. I think that should be upgraded to ensure apt security of belongings. This is a basic requirement. 5 - Food I have no idea because I never ate at the hostel; there's a kitchen though.

Zostel Jaipur has the perfect "zostel vibe". The common area is pretty cool and vibrant. The rooms are cozy and pretty spacious esp the 8-bed rooms. The team was super warm! Love โค๏ธ Will highly recommend

This was my first Zostel experience and I fell in love with Zostels - making me to go to another one just the following weekend. The smoking area is quiet chilled out - people come up smoke together - most of them are solo travellers to they jell well. The common room too was great as people could watch the world cup together and cheer :) The staff here could definitely be leas restrictive which was the case in the following Zostel that I visited this weekend. Loved their policy to leave the footwear on ground floor.

Loud, obnoxious crowd playing loud music late into the night. Of all the Zostels that I've stayed in, this was the worst experience. The room that we were given was not cleaned after the previous guests had left. Used water bottles were left on the side tables. The bathroom was an absolute nightmare with water overflowing from the wash basin. The commode looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months.

Zostel jaipur is not like the other zostels I've been to. They have a very strict rules on many things like, no shoes inside, no alcohol, they dont have a roof top and the kitchen was closed when I visited. The rooms are really good they have plenty of washrooms connected to dorms. They will also arrange bike rental services of you want. Overall it's ok if you want a place just to crash if you wanna chill and party and all don't go here.

This zostel is the worst among all zostels I have been stayed. We were having food and talking . One guy (a muscle man /staff) came and told to keep quiet . How can he tells that? Facilities are quiet fine. The staffs are worst. Not tourist friendly. They tells they have a police station opposite to it. Should we care about it? No alcohols allowed. They donโ€™t like people talking each other. And about food. I ordered from Zomato . The hotel people gives very good drinking water , nothing else๐Ÿ˜….

It's the best place for solo travellers and a group of friends. They provide clean, hygienic and comfortable beds and toilets for minimal cost at the centre of the Jaipur city. The staff was also very helpful and easy to interact with. You can also hang out at the common area after check out. Best place for GenZ to stay in Jaipur city

I had booked a bunk bed at Zostel Jaipur and my experience was pretty good. In terms of safety and affordability, it is totally recommended. Loved the common room area, where you have enough seating space and options to chill around. The service at this Zostel was also satisfactory. I felt that the washrooms could have been a little better in terms of hygiene and space. With that said, I must note that the staff was courteous enough to clean the washrooms whenever asked for. As for the kitchen, it would have been nice to see more options on the menu. Overall, I had an amazing time because I met some like-minded and fun-loving bunch of people. It is a really good place in terms of location. So if you are a backpacker on a budget trip, Zostel is recommended. However, if you are planning for a staycation, you may consider some other place.

This was my first solo trip. I was very excited and nervous at the same time. After returning from the trip, I can say this was my best trip. Zostel staff were very friendly and co-operative. Perfect location, cleanliness and wall paintings ๐Ÿคฉ. They also have common area which none can dislike, kitchen area was also perfect. I really loved it..

Zostel Jaipur is wonderful. You won't be disappointed with the place at all. Lovely and helpful staff, beautiful location in the city centre, cafeteria is also good. Clean beds and room is all you want which you'll find here. Also, you wouldn't get bored since they have an amazing common area as well. Go for it :))

Great hostel with great management and staff. They were super helpful with travelling around India and Jaipur itself. Also the food was really convenient, cheap and tasty. The chef went out his way to cook for me on his day off! Thanks for an amazing stay!!

Overall experience was very great. Nice chill smoking area, common area. Bathroom and toilet are as clean as they should be. But kitchen was not properly cleaned. Maybe it was because zostel's chef was on vacation. There is place to dry and iron your clothes. There is also a room for you to keep your bags after your checkout. You have to leave your shoes and sandals at the counter. Only clogs, slippers are allowed inside. If you are solo or group of 2 or 3, stay at zostel.

Zostel jaipur is the perfect stay anybody can ask for in the city. Highly recommended for solo travelers. They provide clean and hygienic rooms and washrooms, in-house Cafe and an amazing common area. With its perfect location, you can find many cafes and restaurants around. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and make your stay more comfortable.

It was another good zostel I have visited. The location is very good. Staffs seems to be very good. They will help you with your need but need to do a follow-up else they might forgot. They are very strict to the rules which I liked personally. But it is too good for the budgeted travellers. I felt like it can have some more architecture which are related to Jaipur. When I visited some of the staffs were on leave hence nothing much happening was there. There was no outing and cafe also doesn't have much . Also the remaining staffs seems to be occupied with the tasks.

Zostel was overall fine. Common area and the drawings were beautiful. Could maintain more hygiene in the washrooms and corridors. Rooms donโ€™t have any table or any such things to keep bottles, chargers, phones. There could be a reason for not keeping still felt like should mention this. Overall it was fine stay. PS: itโ€™s common washroom for 1 floor.

The zostel stay was great, they let us stay for longer than our reservation while we waited for our transportation for almost 6 hours. There is a great arrangement for sleeping and doing activities in the common room. Most of the staff was polite and friendly barring one or two. Overall a good experience.

My very first visit as Solo Traveler. Zostel Jaipur was an amazing experience. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, they go out of their way to make you mingle and be comfortable. Awesome common areas, made new friends, lots of activities. I was in mixed dorm, the place of very clean and maintained. Location too good. There is absolutely nothing negative in my experience. It was a wow experience!

The best zostel I've been in a city. Don't judge a book by its cover - the outside looks nothing like that wonderful inside. Felt ppl who visited weren't keeping the place clean enough. That aside, the zostel is also at an excellent location. You can book without too much contemplation. They've got cool common areas as well.

Zostel Jaipur has a very friendly staff and is very accommodating. The food here is amazing, especially the 'tadka' Maggie. The ambiance and overall vibes are just so peaceful. The guests/tourists staying here are from all over the world and they become your friends. It's safe for girls here. It's like a Home Away From Home feeling.

I was a guest at Zostel, Jaipur for 3 days and spent a memorable time during the stay. The host was welcoming and location of the hostel is in the prime spot of old jaipur city. Most attractive place in the hostel was the common hall where I was able to meet new travellers from different corners of the world and also play some fun games during the free time. One star less: The bathroom and toilet could have been better maintained. The wash basin was not repaired and had water blockage probelm in the bathroom.

The dorm was very neat and every facility was present like pillow, quilt, AC, seperate light and charger for every bed. Many things for fun activity was there and you can easily connect and play with other people out there. Just loved my stay over there.
