Hotel Hostel

👍 Hometales was an amazing place to be at. Extremely affordable.. With fancy interiors.. Service too good. They have a little mini garden on the outside and a very comfy 'sheher cafe' of their own. They also have a little library downstairs. People often mention good, breakfast, room, cafe,

Hometales or Horrortales Wish I could rate negative for this hotel/hostel which is a nightmare for business travellers. Where should I start my experience from 1) Checkin was smooth and was given a room in 10 mins of my arrival 2) Day 1 - Water bottle was asked and was given one bottle of water.  As promised as a part of in the description of the deluxe room but no toiletries, sanitaries or towels were given. 3) Food leftovers and liquor bottles were lying outside of my room and throughout the hotel for the whole night. 4) There was lot of dust under the bed which I think hasn't been cleaned for ages Day 1 1) Morning I woke up and reach their reception. Firstly there was no one available at the reception till 9 am also. So I went to their cafe for breakfast. I was informed by the owner that the breakfast timings are 8-10 am. However on reaching the cafe, I was told that no breakfast will be served as the chef has not arrived yet 2) Left for my office and when I came back in the evening, I handed over the water bottle to one of the hotel boys to refill it and to my surprise he never came back with the refilled bottle. Luckily I had one water bottle of my own which was enough for me for that night 3) Again no toiletries, sanitaries or towels given Day 2 1) Went for breakfast at 8:30 and I was told that the breakfast will be served by 9:30. Did they expected me to wait for their breakfast and reach my office Late 2) Again no toiletries, sanitaries or towels given 3) Dirt below the bed Day 3 (Checkout Day) 1) Finally breakfast was served. But they had Poha only as an option. Common Issues 1) Hygiene 2) Small rooms in the name of deluxe rooms 3) No water bottles given 4) No toiletries, sanitaries and towels given 5) Diapers were lying in my bathroom bin 6) No look after (watch in the room was not even working), there were tapes on walls 7) huge amount of dust under the bed (can be seen in the pics) The only good thing about Hometales was a boy named "Arya" who was polite enough to talk and apologise for everything on my checkout

My home in Jaipur - Hometale's hostel. It is the ultimate place to stay in Jaipur for both business and leisure travellers as it caters to families, groups and singles. 3 private bedrooms and 5 dorms. Extremely amazing staff, Clean place, clean bathrooms, no disturbance from others what so ever, Open terrace to party hard. If you love to meet new people then the dormatries are the perfect option for you, a wall map that will make your travel more easy and hassle free. You can spend time chilling in the in house cafe or just sitting around in the reception area. They have a small sitting area garden in the front porch. Morning and evenings are perfect for some me time. It is absolutely fabulous! Loved the ambience. Extremely happy and overwhelmed with my stay, the service has been exceptional, the beds are the best so far. Each time it will make you fall off to sleep and the facilities more than adequate in each rooms. Extremely accessible, as it is near to the airport and about 15mins auto ride away from the hustle bustle of the Pinkcity.

Owners are very bad people, they take money for deposit and blocked me. They always lie to clients. Please, never visit this hostel. I cant have a call to India, but I tried to call them everywhere!!!

This is a good place for team visit. Staff is very polite and supportive.Vikram Singh dhabhai has a pleasing personality, his politeness and welcoming nature is impressive and makes guest feel like home. Ambience is awesome, neat and clean. It is a very good place for team activity, night party, relaxing with a small gym. You cann also play guitar and drums. We had a very good party in night followed by very good breakfast and tea in morning. Overall Paise walsu Regards Vijayjeet Choudhary

The vibes of this place cannot be compared to any other place, everything about it is so perfect, from the rooftop intimate setup to the cafe 'Sheher' everything is amazing. About the cafe Sheher: Sheher, this place has a story to tell. From the alluring interiors to the finger licking food everything about this place tells a story. Let’s start from there logo, the logo is detailed & tells you what their aim is which is to bring all these people together & give them a space to connect & the interiors are so well done that you will get lost on your first visit to this place. They have a detailed wall dedicated to different places like Lucknow, Agra, Mcleodganj, and Bombay & there is a story which every wall is telling. The center stage is the best sitting area, you will love it. But the people of Sheher have given special attention to their food & have made sure that the authenticity is maintained. They have famous dishes from different places. Must have food: 1. Aloo Pyaz Sabzi & Paratha: It is the most delicious thing you will eat that day, they home parathas & Aloo pyaz will make you remember your mom definitely once. 2. Nutella Ghevar: Kudos to them to bring Nutella to Ghevar & creating this amazing assimilation of 2 things Jaipur people love. Conclusion: ‘You will be lost on your first visit to this place or maybe you will find yourself, it’s that place which you just need in your life & perfect for all the artists to do their creative work now that curious is full all the time’

The managing staff is very helpful and polite. Every morning they used to guide us before leaving for sight seeing. It's a place with good vibes. Definitely a thumbs up if anyone is thinking of staying there. Also, they offered a complimentary drop to the airport.

Stayed at Hometales with my friends for a weekend in a dorm room. Very good management, very helpful. Very comfortable and modern room. Very nice lounge where we played football and also used the mini gym. Will definitely come back. No complaints.

The youthful, positive vibe of Hometales makes it pretty recommendable for travelers who like to mix solitude, socialising and frugal spending for decent enough services. Archit, Ayush, Rahul and Satvik are excellent hosts and their enthusiasm is infectious which made the hostel even more social and welcoming. Clean and spacious rooms with a good location and an excellent rooftop lounge adds to the overall vibe of the space. Would love to visit again soon.
