We
stayed
here
in
a
private
room.
The
so
called
"Penthouse."
Not
sure
how
we
ended
up
here
but
we
did.
My
partner
read
on
a
travel
blog
that
this
was
recommended
to
stay
in
one
of
their
private
rooms.
Bad
idea.
Now,
to
be
fair,
I
understand
that
this
is
a
hostel.
I
have
stayed
in
many
and
have
stayed
in
many
private
rooms
at
such
places
and
frankly
have
been
rarely
so
dissapointed
in
value.
As
soon
as
we
opened
the
front
door
(which
does
not
close
properly)
we
should
have
done
a
180.
However
it
was
getting
on
in
the
day
and
we
were
here
and
wanted
to
get
on
with
it.
The
hallways
were
dingy
leading
in.
It
is
all
stairs
but
that
is
fine.
The
reception
was
great.
Very
kind
and
helpful.
Truly.
No
complaints
there.
Pay
up
front.
Our
room
on
the
top
floor
did
have
a
city
view,
no
doubt.
It
is
the
back
side
of
an
apartment
building,
an
alley
and
a
road.
The
swing
on
the
large
patio
is
actually
really
enjoyable.
The
room
lacked
any
type
of
quality
for
the
price.
It
was
sorta
clean
in
the
sense
that
the
bedding
wash
clean,
floor
swept,
the
toilet
was
clean
and
the
floor
was
mopped.
It
was
dirty
in
that
the
walls
look
like
they
have
not
been
washed
in
a
long
time.
The
bed
was
uncomfortable.
The
finishes
in
the
room
were
poor.
As
an
example,
the
screws
on
the
door
plate
were
very
loose
and
a
random
electrical
cord
was
hanging
out
of
the
wall
in
the
bathroom.
Hot
water
did
not
quite
make
it
through
our
first
shower.
The
room
needed
airing
out.
Considering
the
proximity
to
the
road
and
one
window
that
is
permanently
open,
the
street
noise
was
not
so
bad.
In
short,
for
the
amount
paid,
there
is
absolutely
no
value
here
at
all.
I
am
embarrassed
we
stayed
here
and
did
not
leave
to
find
other
lodging.
Time
was
of
the
moment.
