Definitely not a 5 star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel if you like the finer more luxurious hotels. You can find better accommodations elsewhere. The rooms are very dark as the windows are small. The beds are not comfortable. They also don’t mention this online but there is not real hot water at this hotel. They only have warm water due to the older plumbing in the building. In fact, the showers barely drain so you have to turn the water off while showering so that the floor doesn’t flood outside of the shower area. We booked a premium room thinking we would want to take a bath based on the beautiful photos but the metal is rusted all around the drain. We didn’t feel comfortable taking a bath in this condition. The internet is very spotty. Almost impossible to work or maintain a constant stream of internet. The staff is nice and they do keep the community spaces as clean as possible. Lastly, the food is OK, not a 5 star hotel compared to other 5 star hotels in India.

Would not recommend this hotel. We came from the US and stayed for one night. The general manager is unresponsive and downright rude. She also made commitments that were not delivered. The people that work at the hotel are absolutely fantastic in terms of service. It is unfortunately we had this experience. We have traveled all around the world and have had very few issues with boutique hotels especially. There are many other great places to stay in Jaipur.

Good rooms. The property is new so it offers newer amenities like a heated mirror in the bathroom, QR-code based Wifi :) They also have an iron and stand in their cabinet. However, food options are not that great and the views are OK.

Each room of the palace is different, very beautiful, and very clean. I and my family were highly impressed with how uniquely each room was designed/decorated. The Decor: The decor of each event was very elegant and exceeded our expectations. Even though as hosts we were aware of all the decor on paper but seeing it, in reality, was beyond what we had imagined. I would highly recommend trusting Ankur completely for the decor. The Food Being a big foody, the food held an important place in my heart. And Mr. Narendra and his team made sure that the food was of topmost quality. There were many many options and the food was very delicious. The staff was very hospitable. Overall I would highly recommend the Raj Palace if you are looking to organize a beautiful royal wedding in Jaipur. Our Indian and Italian families went back with beautiful memories. Very good heritage property for stay and wedding event in Jaipur. 300 years old actual heritage property. Good service, good food taste and quality. Near to main Jaipur city. The only issue is sound restrictions. And the number of rooms are less. Also they should give more value to customer who are visiting the property for wedding quries.

My 5 days at this hotel were sublime even as a solo traveller. I'd sit out at night on the terrace at "my" table and took my dinner after a gin and tonic (with real tonic water how it used to taste!. I always chose the Indian food which is all freshly prepared and was fabulous. The staff were so attentive to my every need and were eager to please.
