Three of us came on Tuesday night and the restaurant was suspiciously empty. We felt uneasy but on Google maps the place has 4.4 stars, so we thought it was going to be good. It is nicely decorated and well lit. Regarding the food, the portions are tiny while the prices are very high, which would have been OK had the food tasted any good. Unfortunately, other than the grilled squid, everything else was below par. The fried rice was dry & spicy without any flavor whatsoever and the salmon head soup smelled and tasted "fishy" Simply put, expectations were high and we were let down. I honestly can't fathom how so many people rated this place so highly.

Quite a nice restaurant with tidy, clean decor and high ceiling in Menteng. Price isn't that bad either. If you get tired of other Indonesian cuisines, try this Makassar delicacy in a cozy environment; good for business lunch or lovely evening in small/big group. It's also 3 minutes walking distance from The Hermitage hotel. The signature chicken is nice. Will revisit.

This Makassar seafood restaurant is a branch of Aroma Sedap in Pare Pare, South Sulawesi. Specializing in eastern Indonesian seafood here you’ll find Kudu Kudu & Sukang as the highlights. We came on an afternoon during weekdays for lunch & the place was almost empty (only few tables were filled during our visit). I must admit the place was very nicely decorated, spacious & cozy, typical of classy restaurant in Menteng area. However the food was quite bland, unlike most Indonesian seafood which has rich strong spices. We tried the Kudu kudu as recommended by the waitress & we learnt that the meat was very limited due to the heavy shell of the fish. For the carbs, we had Nasi Goreng Bobongkot as it’s also marked with chef’s recommendation. Basically it’s an Indonesian-styled fried rice with anchovies, sunny side up, with strong basil aroma 🌿🌿🌿 quite oily & salty but still enjoyable. So nothing stands out from the food, but the ambience is great.

Love the food, not loving the Service. Ikan kudu2 is 7 out of 10, udang sarang burung 8,5 out of 10. Kerang bambu saos padang 7 out if 10. We almost got rejected coming in at 18:30 when closing time is 20:00! Luckily we have confirmed our coming in and they finally let us dine! Had the resto all to ourselves lol Sept 13th 2020, Jakarta 1 day before PSBB part II , last chance dining in .

The best seafood restaurant in town. The place is cozy. The box fish is awsome. Crab also is incredible good. The spices is not very hot but special. I'll return anothe day. Important: there is beer in the menu! Thanks godness.

I love the food, I love the interior, love everything about this restaurant. Their staffs were very welcome and helpful, the place was very clean and neat. I came with my mother and ordered kudu-kudu fish, kailan kribo, and tahu lada garam, the taste (and portion) are beyond my expectation.

We went here on the recommendation of our concierge at the DoubleTree. We took a taxi because walking around seemed a bit scary with my 7 year old. The taxi took 5-6 min and cost us $1.30 USD. It's a cute little place with very friendly service. The waitress was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for my wife and I as well as our son. Before taking our order, she brought out melon juice for us (deelish!). I had 2 dishes, squid in black pepper sauce and curly broccoli. My wife had a whole white fish and spicy eggplant. My son went with white rice and fried chicken. All the food was really good. This isn't a 5 star restaurant but the food was exactly what we wanted and expected. Very happy we went there and would go back. Lastly, the portions were decent sized and for all 3 of us (plus a beer that I had) cost under $30 USD. You can't beat that.

It is Manado restaurant which doesnt allow you to cancel your order whatever the reason. The food are pricey for all menu. The taste is not bad. But after eating here, I always feel thirsty.

If you’re looking for Indonesian sea food restaurant, recommend here. Inside restaurant is like nice house, not restaurant. Wall is painted white so that mood is very clear and clam. Restautan is quiet and food is well decorated with nice smell. Can enjoy food in hisg class restaurant.
