Spending the day alone an need some shopping makes me hungry so I decided to try this Italian restaurant. The place is nicely decorated and I was greeted by the staff and she escorted me to a non smoking area. After browsing the online menu, I decided to order some soup gor starters and pasta for the mains, before that I order a cup of coffee latte. Not to long my zuppetta di vongile e frutti di mare arrived and I just digging it. The soup is hot and the overall taste is great specially the clams. Portion is huge, love it so much Before I finished the soup, my Spaghetti tuna & cherry tomatoes arrived, well I take my time to finish my soup then I move to the mains. My spaghetti taste so yummy and light, cause I don’t want beef or pork with it. Big smile on my face and have a really good time alone.

Hi ! Fyi, all the things I share about is by my personal experience. Maybe could help as a references :) This the 2nd times I back to Pippo because want to eat Pasta. I came around 12PM and for weekend this not to busy, the area still have lot of available seat. The ambience is warm with golden brown furniture and warm light. The staff serves us well and greet us with big smile when entering the resto :) They have outdoor & indoor area, the space was so spacious. They serve wine , cocktail if you looking for companion to eat pasta. Today we ordered 3 menu : 1. Mix bruschetta 2. Roman-style carbonara (w/pork bacon) 3. Insalata mediterranea For the pasta & bruschetta mushroom for me quite salty, the taste was yummy but too salty for me. The mix bruschetta is very recomended for light-weight food and because the taste was unique. The mushroom have little hint of truffle aroma which is fragrant & nice. For tomato & basil have a good taste too 👌🏼 Bacon for pasta was delicious, have smoky feel and not salty, oh, Pippo have a fresh homemade pasta which I choose for my roman-style carbonara ; spagethi. The creaminess for the pasta was so rich and it melting to your mouth, I will really joyfully eat this if not too salty 😆 I recomended pasta al-ragu which combined w/minced beef and tomato for the pasta, I love this one. The minced beef balance with tomato sour and with cheese it make the pasta a great things to enjoyed 🤤 For the salad, Insalata they used balsamic sauce combined with olive oil. I think its same with balsamic and olive they serve when they give you entree bread. For the salad dressing i try it bit sweet with tangy from balsamic and also the texture was condensed and I’m not too like it so for the salad I just use the balsamic & olive oil that they serve to us before w/ 4:2 ratio for Olive oil : Balsamic and stir it generously then eat it each mouthful complete with tomato,lettuce,onion,feta cheese, orange and the balsamic w/olive oil was blend together well and it delicious 🤤🤤🤤 I love the salad. If you look the photo, they very generous give the feta cheese. Thank you!! Also, you maybe want to Ligurian minestrone the soup consist of mix vegetable w/pesto. The taste was unique, it have sweet-umami taste and balance with the salt taste. This was very good !! Love this too. Giving 3* just because negroni wasn’t so bad. We wanted to try this restaurant because we are from Italy. This restaurant isn’t Italian, it can be considered as Italian fusion maybe. The first thing, the place looks nice and they put effort to make it nicer. We didn’t book but they said you can take a table for 2 hours only… okay… Aperitivo, bruschetta wasn’t bad, actually quite similar to originals. But we ordered 2 different pasta: Spaghetti alle vongole and aglio olio peperoncino. First thing the pasta was written as fresh pasta, they weren’t. Then I think they cook them in a broth or something (dado -broth cubes- maybe) and we asked they didn’t say anything. Then pasta was cut into small pieces! For an Italian this is a big NO! Plus for the both dished the sauce were not the right, something different but totally not Italian. There were too many different spices and the taste wasn’t right, or good. Also I found the prices are bit on the high side and the portion of the pasta wasn’t enough even for primo. In a nutshell they created a fancy place with mediocre food. Non consiglio questo posto per italiani.

I love the place, love the ambiance and love the food. However, I always order 1 thing that I feel is super delicious; angel hair pasta with mushroom and truffle sauce. Out of this world!!! Everything else I don't really care about. The chicken I ordered was kind of bland and rubbery. The free focaccia bread is pretty good, and you can ask for more of it.

Nice and romantic vibe, love the ambience and the resto concept. Nice choice for easy access italian resto (located at Senayan City mall). The staff was very helpful, he recommended us affordable wine with good taste. If possible, avoid to come at peak time (dinner time), because ppl usually come with group, it was too crowded and noisy. After 9pm the resto vibe changed to bar vibe, they played upbeat song. I think it was suitable for a nice drinking session after dinner :) they also have a private toilet for the guest. The ribeye steak was okay, with blackpapper sauce on a side. I like the fish ravioli with delicious spicy-tomato-base sauce. The dessert was so refreshing to finish our delish dinner.

Got here around 11 and was greeted by the "maître d'" who really could've been a lot nicer when we inquired her about the time allotment and the time of the food prep --which makes sense to know if you're only given 2 hours to enjoy your lunch. She really didn't to answer "Well it usually doesn't take an hour to make."; that's pretty snarky. However, I wouldn't dock a star based on that because the food and the service was great. We ordered one "build your pasta", one pizza to share, a hot chocolate, and a december special cocktail "Jingle Bells". My friend asked our server for prawn and pesto spaghetti but the the server recommended aglio o'lio if my friend wanted prawns on her spaghetti. I must credit the server for giving my friend a recommendation --not many servers here would do that. That means the server knows the menu well. My friend still went for the pesto but we both were very grateful for the server's knowledge. I ordered a quattro formaggi pizza. Both dishes did not disappoint. The pesto spaghetti was super rich and the pizza was VERY cheesy which I love. The pizza was cut into 8 slices and would serve a 4-adult-group well. Both of us were satisfied with our meals. My cocktail was pretty strong but I wish I ordered a trufle martini instead XD. The complimentary bread was good too. The atmosphere seems pretty chill and I can see how you'd need a reservation on weekends; especially in peak hours. We left after 1 hour 15 minutes or so; we skipped desserts because the portion was very fulfilling. It's a great experience and thank you to the server again!

Been here 5 times during weekdays (for lunch and dinner). They were quite empty at the time I visited (around 3.30 pm), yet they limit my stay for maximum 2 hours. I understand this rules as they might try to avoid long stay. But I had told the staff that my friend would be here later for dinner, and she told me that I should move to another table once my friend came, even if the table was not under someone else’s reservation. Doesn’t make sense. I wasn’t happy with the way they managed, and I felt like the staff (female) who welcomed me a bit cocky, but the rest of the staffs were very kind and polite Food wise, back then before covid it was great! But this time sorry to say, it tastes quite bad. • Fired Ravioli (Christmas special menu) 4/10 • Porchetta goes to Hawaii Pizza 7/10 • Zuppetta di Vongole / Seafood with white wine tomato Soup 4/10 • Tiramisu 2/10 (don’t bother to order this one. It was too sweet, couldn’t taste the rum and too soggy) *Better improve your service and food quality.

Been coming to this place numerous times over the years since 2019 and decided to come back for the first time in 2024 after the place reopened. To be honest, I was quite disappointed with the food quality served here - details as below. I ordered the (i) Quatro Fromaggi Pizza; (I) Eggplant Parmigiana; and (III) Steak. I have ordered the first two and they were my favorites from this resto. The steak was ordered by my wife who was craving steak at that time (Friday, 12 January 2024). The Quatro Fromaggi is fine, it has all the flavours, cheezy, tasty and you can taste the blue cheese in it which is my favourite part of this pizza. Now comes to the Eggplant Parmigiana, which I used to order everytime I came here with my friend(s) who never tried this resto before. I was surprised that this time it feels different... It feels just like pasta with a lot of tomato in it. Not even salt and pepper, just tomato paste flavours. It was underwhelming and I couldn't even finish it (remember, this was one of my favourite dishes). I even tried the sauce again at the end to make sure that I tasted it right (I was in disbelieve, really! ) and it indeed tasted like tomato paste/sauce with no seasonings whatsoever. But wait, there's more...!! The steak, which was priced at around IDR 400k was very tough and ruberry. Surprisingly, I asked for it to be cooked into medium rare. Me and my wife were really disappointed. Also couldn't finish it. Hope this can be evaluated and the food quality enhanced and to be consistent. Thanks! 6/10 for the moment imo.

Been here twice now and I gotta say I love this place so far. I got an iced long black both times and it's okay. The coffee is decent, not strong at all, a little bit watery though. I recommend the chocolate gelato. It's the best chocolate gelato I have ever had. The texture and consistency are unique, it's super soft and kind of chewy, the closest description would be like mochi. It's also not too sweet and not sickening either. I also suggest getting the salame di cioccolato. It's essentially a no-bake chocolate cookie with some nuts in it. It's also served with vanilla ice cream. It tastes very delicious and certainly a unique dessert. Would definitely come back here again!

Raviolini in brodo (soup) 3 star Didn't like the soup/broth , ravioli taste bland. Not recommended. Truffle and Mushroom pizza 4 star The combination of sauce, truffle, and cheese was great. The only downside is the pizza dough. I've tasted better than this. Spinach ravioli in arrabiata sauce pasta 5 even 7 star (@_@) Soooooo goood! The only winning dish here!!! The only reason I would come here again and again. Overall, scored 4 star because of their pasta. I think they are more serious about their pasta, than their pizza. The pizza here is so good! They tasted authentic and fresh, the sauce is awesome and the toppings worked so well. My favorite pizza: Carbonara Smoked Beef and Quattro Formaggi. My favorite pasta: Pansotti with Truffle & Mushroom sauce and Black Ink Risotto.

Love the kind of this place! We enjoyed the ambience, the food, also we tasted unique beverages but tasty! Coffee with lemon on top (forgot the name) it was new to me, sour/sweet/taste of coffee mixed together as one. I recommend that. Pizzas delicious too, we ordered beef as for the topping.

Good atmosphere, great food, perfect for dating 😁😁😁 I always order Tagliolini Black Ink, perfecto!!! The only thing to concern is that after 3 p.m., the whole area s allowed for smoking. For parents consideration, especially with kids or baby. But the rest all is well. The smoking area is also nice and warm, not really hot there.

Their food is just okay. Soggy truffle french fries. They can improve on their coffee pandan latte. Food price abit too expensive for their quality. Great place for hanging out because they have great spacious outdoor seating and have restroom inside their premises

One of the best italian food. We ordered the pizza and gnocchi for main dish. Both of them are good. The pizza crust is thin an perfectly crispy. The gnocchi sauce is fenomenal and will deffinitely order again. The burrata cheese is just moderate. Will try other menu when I visit again.

Turns out to be a quite decent italian resto. Menu that I have tried: (I forgot the exact name but you’ll know which one when you look at the menu lol) What’s interesting here is you can make your own pasta! 1. Tagliolini pasta with truffle and cheese (this was in their pasta menu). Basically tagliolini with lots of cheese and 1 slice of black truffle. A bit too cheesy and thick for me, cant taste the truffle. I think it would be better if they add more truffle oil. But you might like it if you love creamy cheesy fulfilling pasta (3/5) 2. Built my own pasta: Fish ravioli with Vongole sauce. I wanted to order the cheese ravioli initially, but the server recommended the fish one. unfortunately the fish ravioli still contain bones in it, so it wasnt very enjoyable (2/5) 3. Quattro formagi pizza: this one is prettty good. The pizza is thin and doughy. Recommended to try! (3.5/5)

Delicious food, great wine, cozy ambience, superb service and jazzy live music. What more would you ask for? Its a great place to have a candle-light dinner with your date or just having a good time with your family and friends

Had a really long day at work, and Pippo worked wonders in getting me back on track. Love their Roman Carbonara, creamy, fragrant, and umami. The homemade pasta was great as well, had a good chew. To close the day, I had a hugo spritz by the bar. A very friendly and approachable drink. Props to Bang Randi for being a great bartender.

A VERY BAD and DISSAPOINTING. EXPERIENCE!! This will be my one and only visit to this restaurant. They put up a lunch set/promo with non-existent pasta..cant even change to another type of pasta available with the same price..why put up a promo/lunch set when you cant even provide them or be flexible about it. No wonder there are only a few people eating at this place. PS. I dont even need to taste the food. A customer started to 'eat' the moment they enter the restaurant. Sometimes you can solve problem with a good communication; but with a service this bad..i dont even have the mood to even eat their food. Hope this can be an input to the management to do a better service going forward; but you just lost a customer

Decent italian/steak eatery in a mall. Varied selection of wines altho at slightly higher price point. Place get a tad too dark after 7pm since they dim the light.

Really nice and comfortable space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. In terms of the food, they’re fine, nothing really stands out, but not saying that they’re bad. I’m still giving this place an overall 4 stars because of the place and the staff.

Worth to visit! Actually this is not my first time. Usually came after Lunch hours until early dinner time for drinks and munchies. But kinda missing this place for soo long during pandemic, was having Negroni hours till late night😆 We had Black Angus Steak, Veal Truffle Mushroom (RECOMMEND!!!), and of course Pizza!! Last but not least, Tiramissu❤ Ohyessss, Lychee Martini was so soo good! Taste a bit sour but fresh! iLIKE!

I went during the christmas eve and it was crowded time. At the beginning, the staff said it was fully booked, but fortunately we had the seats. With high expectation of the service and the food, I could say the service was disappoint us. We know it was a busy time and we were aware that we had limited time to spend, given only 90 mins. But the staff did a ‘soft’ gesture to drove us away. The first one, the staff cleaned up our garlic bread plate with one slice bread left and didn’t ask us whether we already finished or not. The second and third time they took and did a clean up at our table by grabbed the used tissue in a frequent time, neither ask us our permission too. The image of the restaurant fell down in my eyes. Sorry, I didn’t take much picture at that time.
