The best seafood restaurant in Jakarta so far, salted egg shrimp very yummy. The resto is very big n nice, but you have to come early because they have limited parking lot unless you want to use vallet

Fresh seafood, some of them still alive. Despite of the freshness, the taste nothing special, just mediocre. Service rather slow and very noisy during dinner hour.

Outstanding Indonesian Seafood. Great service. Good ambience. Friendly staff. Excellent selection of various sea food that you would struggle to decide. Fortunately I had a lovely local friends helping me out. Good car parking.

The food are great The price are fair, if you're not ordering expensive items like kerapu, crab or lobster 😅 The service are good But there are two flies keep on bothering our lunch (dont know where the flies comes from) even though the place are tidy, clean, and air conditioned The toilet are also clean and tidy

Been going to Layar in Surabaya everytime I got the chance. Now finally coming to Jakarta branch. Great food as always. Service is a bit slow compared to the one in Surabaya. Went here close to CNY, and they put a 30% premium on some products like crabs, lobster, and prawn...

SUPERB! 🤤 One of the must-visit seafood restaurants in Jakarta! It was my second time visiting this restaurant. On my first visit, I fell in love with their Singapore Chili Crab! It’s so good especially if you scoop the sauce with fried mantou. Perfect combo! 🙌🏼 On my second visit, I had Udang Goreng Sereal and it’s really good! Especially if you combine it with Kangkung Teras and their Sambal Bawang which you can take freely from the Sambal Corner 🙌🏼 Plus point is they provide a prayer room (musholla) too, so it’s convenient for us Muslims when visiting this restaurant.

One of the best seafood in Jakarta. Lots of chilli/sambal choices. Atmosphere and service are also nice. Definitely will come back again

Come early on weekend lunch, otherwise the place is packed and hard to get parking. Food was great with decent price and portions. We liked the fried soka 🦀 particularly. Great for family gatherings, they also have a separate room that can be used for gatherings or event.

Good seafood at affordable price. Love their fried squid/calamari with nori/ seaweed and grilled sukang fish (frape style), sayur pakis asap (Smoked pakis - vegetable), and daun pepaya saus XO (papaya leaf with XO sauce). Unfortunately I was too hungry to remember to take photos of all the food. We will be back.

Food is excellent, tasty, and fresh. The price is very worth it. I would recommend Kerang Bali Bakar Jimbaran, Crab, and Udang Telor Asin. All of those are very good and delicious. Definitely will be my go-to seafood restaurant from now on👍🏼

One of seafood resto in west jakarta, I’m so excited to visitting here. The place is comportable to family, meeting and have nice room design. The price of food is expensive. Have clean toilet, comportable prayer room. You can choose indoor and outdoor place.

Great authentic Indonesian food. All grilled menu must try. Grill sotong with eggs is one of the best.

The dishes, specially Kenari Crab and king crab alaska was quite good, not from live crab but from frozen, they still have the taste of the frozen food, may be if from live seafood would taste better😊, other dishes were all yummy, specially the grilled fish (sukang) and steam kerang kampak, they were so delicious, little bit pricy here but if you like to try rare seafood it's worthed to try it here.. service was good, all staff were friendly and helpful, place was clean and ambience was very comforting..

Awesome place with wide variety of Indonesian seafood dishes. Great taste.. Fishes & shrimps are kept alive in aquarium so everything are fresh. Restaurant is clean with high ceiling and spacious. A bit crowded during lunch & dinner time, but worth to try. Definitely in our top list for Indonesian seafood. Great selection of sambals. And now they add many more dessert selection. Service is quite quick and many staffs on the floor. Price also not bad for that quality. Recommended.

Nice seafood restaurant in west jakarta area. We ordered Ikan Kwe Bakar Parape, Ikan Baronang Bakar Kecap, Cumi Goreng Saus Telur Asin, Kepiting Soka Gandum, and Petai Goreng. The parape sauce and the salted egg sauce were good. Overall the food were delicious and flavourful. The place mostly always packed and full house during dinner. They provide unlimited sambal with a lot of varieties. Service was okay, atmosphere is good. Just one thing needs improvement is the cleanliness of the cutleries and the plates. We noticed that the plates on our table some were still a bit oily, and the cutleries still had a fishy smell. We called the staff to change it.

Good place to eat seafood, place is very comfortable. The fish with Layar sauce is a must try 👍 Unfortunately crab with cheese not so much, should have gone with a more traditional choices.

Fusion style seafood restaurant, spacious seating area. Food was great, must order mantou if you have chili crab, mantou was very soft and fluffy inside and crispy inside. Order the steam fish with their live fish, Prawn is big and fleshy too! If you are adventurous you can try their Kudu Kudu too (Box fish?) Must get their condiments, the chilli with onion is super good to match with the dishes! Condiments are self serving!

Everything we ordered was fresh. Seafood is their main specialty and don't forget to go to their chilli station to grab your favourite chilli sauce.

We order grill fish, petai prawn and fried tofu. Taste is standard. Place is very crowded. We have to wait to having seat. We order also otak otak for takeaway. I like otak otak taste good.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with valet parking, which is good, considering the roadside and available parking spots in front of the premises are limited. We were then usher to our table and started choosing our dinner. However, many foods are sold out, and we weren't made known upon ordering. The waiter came back after taking our order, with 3 out of 8 dishes sold out. We were quite disappointed upon that time, and due to the timing, we continued eating there with whatever option they had. Overall taste was very good and seafood was fresh. If you like fresh seafood and you are within the West of Jakarta, I will highly recommend this place. Probably check before ordering what is available.

My first time here. Not too crowded when we arrived. Love the ambience, cozy and clean. We ordered soft-shell crabs with salted egg sauce (love this the most, very tasty), squid with basil which was mediocre, steamed fish HK style (when it came, it was not too hot however it still tasted good), Padang chili crab (a bit spicier would be better), fried mantou to be eaten with the crab (well fried not too dry but the size was too small) , and tahu kipas (big size and crunchy). I like our stir fry kangkung but dislike their recommended stir fry bunga papaya. It was a nice dining experience after all, and I will definitely come back.

Friendly service at the entrance... But then all waiters kept avoiding me for a good 10 minutes... Until the supervisor arrived to take my order. Locals only here, I'm guessing nobody dared speaking English with me. When I ordered lobster the second manager came by to make sure I had the money to pay. Darn. I'm dressed all right today 😂. Food wise... Solid 4, lobster au beurre was okay, a little dry and didn't have the fresh ocean taste you expect from a recently captured creature... Shrimps jimbaran were all right, I bet they were not swimming in open waters in the last few days. I really liked the different sauces you can chose at the sambal [sauce] bar, especially the sambal mata?, So rich in flavor. Overall good experience, a little pricey for Indonesia but a good stop on my way home.
