After a very long time, akhirnya bisa breakfast disini. The food is still excellent. Fresh juice,pilihan jamu, a strong & fresh ☕️ bean , and a various of menus , bikin bingung mo makan yg mana 😆. Thanks to Chef Husain Faqih Shahab, after asking our feedback on the restaurant, he granted my wishes, & freshly make the famous JW Marriot French toast like I always have for breakfast at JW Marriot Surabaya. The staffs also give an excellent service. Keep up the good work, & success always.

Sailendra is an international buffet restaurant in JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta. The place has a large space. They provide variant of Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Indian, and Western food from appetizer, main dish, to dessert. For you who loves to custom made your own food, they have noodle station where we can choose noodle, beehon, kwetiaw along with the toppings with the choices of broth, such as miso, shoyu, curry, laksa, tomyum. At the dessert corner, we could also make and custom es campur (mix shaved ice). A few years ago, I used to come here several times to have buffet dinner. I remembered one of my favorite was Bak Kut Teh (Pork Ribs served in broth) as their Chinese New Year menu. The pork ribs were so tender and tasty. Since it was so good, I got the Bak Kut Teh refilled for several times 😄 It's just a glimpse of my nostalgia here. Anyway, when I got back here this year, I felt that the food wasn't as tasty as it used to be, and since the place hasn't been upgraded or renovated, I think it looks a little bit "old". It doesn't mean they don't maintain it well. The service still great. Here are my favorite menu and recommendation for this visit : - Beef Xo - Doughnut Burger - Cajun Chicken - Rum Raisin Ice Cream - Pistachio Ice Cream

A lot of options for buffet which is mind boggling in every regard but they should focus more on quality rather than quantity. Overall, a decent place! Wasd here for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our time here with all the guests. Hotel & Restaurant is quite spacious which is a great thing. -- A drop of ink may make a million think. Love the hotel hospitality, the banquet services, and of the old time live music. But sadly the food was soso for 5 star hotel... the yorkshire pudding is hard like a rock😅 , the variety of dimsum wasn't like i expected, but still enjoy the salmon sashimi for about 2 rounds... my friends said that their mid eastern food was good but i dont feel like want to have another taste for it

From seafood to sushi, from Indian to Middle Eastern food, you can taste them all at Sailendra. A great buffet experience for me, they also have discounted price if you pay with certain cards. If you are a big eater, you should visit this one.

Service and ambience were great. Food was great too. I love the sushi and sashimi, they were very fresh. And they provided Jamu in modern way.

Desert disini worthy bgt. Must try So far yg enak : Nasi briyani, tiram /oyster so fresh, Miso sop, ikan cream (lupa namanya), conchighle carbonara, meatloaf, section mie bakso, sushi, salad section, bread section, es krim, cake and desert. The other... eehh.. so so.. Waiter cepat melayani (pengambilan piring, sendok dan garpu, lemon [saat habis di food counter/display], etc) The front line so friendly and helpful But no control on the food display/counter (tofu run out at the miso sop [aproximately at 8pm ], the miso sop run out of heat [need reheated], lemon slice at the seafood section run out but nobody took notice) Suggestion : the atmospheres (lighting, chairs, seating potition, etc) are ok but the music better change into a better one like jazz or classic orchestra music or maybe a live music.

I ate the buffet breakfast here during my stay at Jakarta and the food is normal among the different five star hotel. But when I tasted the oxtail soup, it was good. Will certainly come back for more.

Love it. Complete!! All the menus from Indonesia cuisine and international menus are good. Good table services, lots of choices for main dishes, side dishes, vegetarians, drinks, sushies and other.

I would describe eating here as gambling. You won't know if the food you take is good until you try it. The problem is, the winning rate (of the food actually being good) is below 50% The bad: 1. There's not a lot of food selection compared to other hotel buffets 2. Almost everything here is too salty. In the case where it's not, it's tasteless :/ there's almost no in-between. I got sick when eating and decided to stop before I was even full 3. The band they called was way too loud! It really ruined the dining experience for me The good: 1. Their salad bar is delicious. Maybe it's because they didn't have to cook anything here hahaha 2. Gelato is also delicious and they provide a lot of flavor choices 3. Their charcuterie board (the one with cheese, jams, and berries) were good. Again, it's the one where they didn't have to cook anything haha 3. Their service is top-notch. All the staff are very nice and swift on their feet The meh: 1. Their dessert selection and flavors are meh. Take the "small cup dessert" and the big cake (where you slice it yourself) because they're good, but the small cakes are all way too sweet 2. Half of the live seafood section taste fresh, and the other half does not. I only recommend the big clams (kerang kampang, oysters), prawn, and crab. The smaller clams are not worth the cholesterol Conclusion: we get a "buy 1 get 1" discount and we still think it's not worth it. Visit other hotels for a better experience

Nice place, the food is excellent especially the timur tengah food. The ambience is perfect. And the price quite pricey.

Large selection of food. Indonesian, japanese, thai, italian, i think i will never be able to taste them all. And what an absolutely beautiful and delicious desserts, i love your cheesecake to the moon and back. JW Marriott's Sailendra if you see this, please add simple coffee to your buffet, it can be just a nespresso machine where the guest can make it themself, or automated nestle machine. I understand you offered barista fresh brewed coffee as adds on, but it would be nice to have the one that included in the price.

Didn’t expect the food gonna be so meh 👎🏼 i tried each of the dishes, i cant choose which one is the best one. Disappointed? Definitely. Even the dessert, nothing is delicious except their gummies ( which ws made by other party ) The staff serving behind the table, seems not in a good mood, no one smiles No steak too 😶 the Sop Buntut, the meat still Smelly 🫢 the seafood, just ok. Will we come back? Hmm i guess no, sorry

Thanks to Pay 1 for 2 Buffet CC promo, we have big lunch in Sailendra Restaurant. All foods taste delicious but my favourite is Tengkleng Kambing & their pastries was amazing. Only 1 suggestion : it would be nice if there is hot beverages station available. Very clean & bit crowded but its still ok. Recommended

lots of choices, tastes very good, the place is comfortable, it's just that the service is quite long because when i and my family comes the conditions are crowded but few officers are on guard... but overall is very good... Love it

For a 5-star hotel class, the quality of the food served at this restaurant was not too special. Nevertheless, the service and atmosphere were quite good, I hope there will be an increase in terms of taste and the types of food dishes that are available.

it was ok, as I excpect more since they carry five star rating. The taste was good. I have been to other five star with more selections. I went there on a sunday afternoon brunch and it was crowded. :-)

Disappointing dinner at syailendra JW Marriott Hotel Kuningan. If you don't see any food featured in this review, is because there's nothing worth to review. The Prime Rib sold out very early during dinner. They serve sausage and mashed instead. However, 30 minutes before service closes, they serve brisket. It's a good gesture from the kitchen The turkey is dry and chewy. The clam is also chewy. The host told me it's because Covid-19 situation. If so, my suggestion they better close down until they can resume at least decent food. No sashimi too which is usually would be the consolation food if there's nothing good 😁

Food variety is not that many, however food taste is highly acceptable. I am enjoying it very much, unfortunately I have to stop eating due to my stomach capacity.. :D And they also have different themes on the menu set every day of the week. You might wanna check in advance prior to your visit to enhance your culinary experience.

These security protocol during my visit was so extra protective. Feel so secure inside Marriot building. Indonesian food especially skewers was so tender and tasty. Slow cooked beef brisket kinda soft and moisty not smoky at all. Tenderloin steak from barbecue section is a little bit salty,overseasoning perhaps.

The foods are good and got variety choices, Dessert was excellent but not much seafood choices. After all is excellent and services is good too.

Great place...but unlike most buffets you are served the food fresh here at the buffet tables by chefs. Wonderful service and amazing food BUT, and there's is a very big but, you need to manage your time. You only get 2-3 hours and if you enjoy good food as much as I do, I suggest you try everything in small portions for the first 30mins-1hour and then use the rest of your time eating what you loved most

was here for dinner and surprisingly crowd with only padang and asian menus, asked the staff for japanese its only available on weekend, and the rest of menus are empty at dinner time 7.50pm, amazed

Recommended for buffet. However you need to book when high season comes. Usually near year end, this restaurant is crowded. So you need to book from several days before.
