Its a stretch for 3 stars too. We were there for a late lunch when the buffet was closed. We ordered Al a carte , the staff were not very knowledgeable on what was available. The taste and portion sizes were pretty small. The service wasn't great although the restaurant was thinly occupied. I really loved the interiors and the ambience but thats where the its stops. I wish the service, food quality were kept on par with the interiors.It appears my experience was unique given other reviews have been positive.

If you are indian, you will love this place. If you are not an Indian, you may love this even more. Ambience - ambience is amazing. The decor and lighting is simply amazing. The first reflection of this restaurant is a good feel and u feel, you are at right place. Staff:- staff is very courteous, thanks to Mohan Ji and his entire team. He knows how to attend a customer, Indian, indonesian or any other foreigner. The staff develops a connect with all. They are the real owners of the place. Food :- now come to the most important part, and that's food. Food is Good. You can get what you ask for . Negative point :- they don't have a restroom inside. One has to go out for restroom break.i could have taken 0.5star, but than am kind hearted.😁 Overall experience, amazing food in a beautiful ambience .

Food was delicious...manager also nice asking about food...friendly... .place good...only when u need toilet..going out from restorant...heheheh...and..one more thing..the staf who taking order...please be patient coz when we confused to choose menue, she standing so close and waiting...even thought we asking her to leave.... later we call again if we are ready😶 make not comfortable and like in hurry choose the menu...but over all is good...will come again soon😘

Very nice India restaurant, superb meal and services. I'm delighted to tried the buffet menu and it's quite authentic, both the taste and the courses of the menu. Overall, good and deligthed.

Having Christmas Dinner with friends here, a great service, cozy and nice ambiences. We had a really good time for first 30 minutes or so, than after came a group of people (as waiters said that this group of poeple is regular customer), Unfortunetly they had really bad attitude and manner in public place. However this people makes us and probably any other customer feel unconfortable with take control of the music in restaurant, changed any songs for multiple times before it finished and played it so loudly. We were sitting exactly close to the speaker, and how annoying it was. We've complained many times to the waitress and asked if they could just playing the music normal not changed it every a few second like crazy! And we even ask if we could talk to the manager, but even the managers seems so affraid to ask this group of people to stop playing the music like crazy! It is just so pitty! The management shouldnt let this people ruined your restaurant, even if they are regular customer! In General speaking all customer should be treated the same and have same rights to have a nice time and enjoy the ambiences! Your restaurant, your Rules!

If you want to experience Indian Dining in Jakarta – I highly recommend this place. Beautiful Indian themed interiors, good service. Food – Good authentic North Indian Food – I tried their Lunch buffet prices at 175.000 IDR belum ppn, value for money – great choice of chats, they start you with poori baji and then soup and starters and main course.for Deserts you have Indian assorted sweets. They could serve a welcome drink and may be an ice cream for desert 😊 overall a good experience and value of money. Very good for team lunch or with your family and friends.

Being a high-class and expensive Indian Restaurant, my expectation is high from the start. The service is good and the food looks great. I am not familiar with Indian food name and it is just confusing for a customer who visited this kind of restaurant for the first time. They make it easier by providing the explanation on the menu.The first two menus I ordered taste great. The drinks were great. I was so sure to give this restaurant a ☆☆☆☆☆ rating but unfortunately, the third menu I ordered, which was also the most expensive was highly disappointing. It was composed of Prawn, Lamb, Chicken, and Fish. The lamb, chicken, and fish were so-so. Not worth the expensive price. The prawn was terrible. It felt like the prawn was already stale. Therefore, I have to removed one star.

We were very satisfied with having lunch here, greeted very friendly by the receptionist, she looked very nice and beautiful like a princess. All the buffet menus were very delicious. We would love to come back to this place again

We order mutton shorba it was ok, mix platter it was good, mutton biryani lot of garam masala, chicken tikka masala was very thick gravy and interior is good, I will come back again

Best Indian I tried in Jakarta, good service, authentic Indian cuisine

Just finished my second visit in two weeks. Today I enjoyed the buffet. I don't normally eat lamb but on my first visit I tried some that my friend ordered and today I feasted on it at the buffet. The lamb is incredible, tender and perfectly seasoned. The buffet was kept fresh and stocked and they cook and bring you fresh hot buttered naan. The staff and manager pay very close attention to detail. I will leave Indonesia soon but I must get back for the butter chicken, safran rice and garlic naan. Cheers

I was invited dinner with one of my Indian business partner. I like the atmosphere it smell natural flower, lighting is good, and they play traditional indian music. For me as Indonesian it's like entering Indian territory in this restaurant. The food is delicious with many variants, and options. They used original Indian recipes. The manager Mohan is friendly he guide me to explain about the restaurant from food up to culture and their beliefs. Overall it's recommended to visit.

Good but not excellent food, the service staff and decour is excellent but I felt the prices were on the high side. Overall in Jakarta a nice experience. The best item served was the karak Pakistani chai

This is a fantastic Indian restaurant but unfortunately they serve the worse chicken korma I have ever had , chicken korma is a very mild , creamy , sweet curry from N India , I sent back the first attempt as it was more like a Madras , the second attempt a bit closer to korma but still a long way apart , the chef was Indian I was amazed that he could not put together such an easy basic Indian curry ! I won't be goy back

We had a good lunch experience here. Sadly it is located in a less visited mall though they are worth to be noticed more. It's easy to find the restaurant since it's only straight from the main lobby entrance. One menu that I randomly selected turned out to be so good was tandoori mushroom, and their onion uttapam is a must try! My husband ordered non veg thali and also chicken lollypop which was so juicy in the inside. The staffs were nice and we felt very welcomed here, thanks for the service.

When I go to this restaurant I always have my favorite dishes and also this time they did not disappoint me. See you next time

A friend made a reservation here for office lunch. Food are good and the overall atmosphere is good. Not too much guests perhaps due to workdays so we can have a nice lunch and some chat.

I think this one is authentic indian food restaurant, the place is in Bellagio. Lots of my colleague love to go here and enjoy the food. This is my first time trial here and overall the food is good, but i’m not really sure how to order the food is it buffet or we can order any other additional food. I like the salad in glass.. the taste so fresh, it mixed between fruit and vegetables also yoghurt. Think will try another time to try another food here.

Finally found one good Indian restaurant here in Jakarta! Been craving for Naan bread for so long & I found it here at The Royal Kitchen. Their garlic naan bread is superb. I’m not a fan of mutton, HOWEVER, The Royal Kitchen has turned me upside down - I tried their Mutton Briyani & it was BRILLIANT! I even surprised myself that I could enjoy a mutton this much! The restaurant is beautifully design & I especially love their entrance area. It feels & smell so AUTHENTIC! 100% recommended. I love how the manager checked on us after our meal to ensure that we had a good time. The service also really good here! Definitely will go back for their mutton.

By far the best Indian food I have tried in Jakarta and for that matter even in Singapore. The tender mutton, wholewheat roti, butter chicken. All perfect. Great staff and service. The manager Mr Mohan is the most pleasant person. He walked me 10 mins to show a shortcut back to my hotel.

Absolutely my favorite Indian restaurant! I've been here quite many times and the food is never disappointing! My favorite one are the saag paneer and the samosa ☺ also, staffs are very welcome and helpful.

Always an excellent experience whenever I visit. Food is amazing. The owner is very nice. I would come here everyday if I lived closer. Despite me living far away, I do try to come here whenever I am free. I would definitely recommend getting the Royal Kitchen membership. The value for money is really good. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants and this is one is the best I have been too. They even have an array of delicious desserts to offer, which not many Indian restaurants have.
