Located 2nd floor of a plaza at Kemang, South Jakarta. Place has a nice mexican vibe with vibrant colored walls and it is huge. I went there for lunch with a colleague and it was pretty empty, only 2 other tables were occupied. Ordered myself a beer battered fish soft taco, my colleague ordered a shredded chicken crispy taco and we swapped a taco for the other. Taste wise, it was pretty okay. However, the portion is way too small for what you pay for. I believe the fish taco was 130K. You get 2 tacos and a small portion of mexican rice. No complimentary nachos, and guacamole was an additional 15K. As it was a lunch break, I opted for a non-alcoholic mojito 49K, the drink was nice, just a perfect amount of sweet and tangy. Overall for what I paid for, I truly believe it is overpriced. I can easily get double of this portion at Taco L*cal for the same price. Parking is easily accessible and has plenty of space since it is in a plaza.

While we're sad to see several Amigos branches closed in recent years (Bellagio Kuningan, Mahaka Square Kelapa Gading) it's good to see the OG Kemang branch thriving with all sorts of festive events. So when I had a chance to organize a catchup in the area, I took the liberty of visiting Amigos and it was good. Margaritas are a must and it was Tuesday so we enjoyed buy 1 get 1 free tacos too. Add to that the usual 4-6pm happy hour (read extra dose of margaritas) and we had a great time. Hope to visit again soon.

Good food always been my favorite place to get a burrito. Although my last dine in experience was not pleasant, the waitress had been really rude ever since me and my family entered the place. As i was ordering she poked my arm with her pen as a sign to hurry up and order, she didnt hurt me however it's a form of poor customer service. I know amigos could do better and I really hope they can improve their employee training also to focus on equal customer service quality :)

Been here last week and I was surprised that the taste was still there, been more than 10 years not going to a real Mexican food in Jakarta. This is the authentic one for sure! Real Mexican Experience - and live music every weekend too starting at 830pm! You gotta try if you have not tried Mexican before so you won’t ruin your taste bud if you tried Mexican at other places.
