Always a good comfort food in PI. The Samsui chicken is always the go-to order. Everything else was pretty good too. The olive rice is a great addition alongside the chicken as well. They complement each others' flavors really well. Another thing that I loved is the roast duck. I especially loved how they made sure each cut of the meat is boneless. So it is extremely easy to eat without the fuss of picking the bones. Overall a safe go-to in Plaza Indonesia.

This is a well-known Singaporean restaurant chain in Indonesia. Their signature dish is Samsul Ginger Chicken - which is a serving of steamed chicken with ginger sauce, cucumber and lettuce. Rubbing the chicken cut with ginger sauce and wrapping it up with a crispy lettuce will get the job done. However, I would have to say the chicken smell was a bit strong for me. The ginger sauce quickly neutralized the chicken smell, however, the first bite gave me a strong push back. Chicken ginseng soup was broadly generic with no specific edge. Steamed fish was amazing and a rare moment where the watery soy sauce was not salty at all. Salted egg shrimp was uninteresting

Always love the food here, esp. Olive rice and kungpao chicken. The location is a bit hidden, across en dining.

Best chinese food in Plaza Indonesia. We ordered: Samsui Ginger Chicken 三水鸡 220K (L) The main dish of the restaurant, the chicken so tender and succulent. Mongolian Tenderloin 蒙古牛肉 210K (L) The special Mongolian sauce seeps into the beef, perfect with rice. Sambal French Bean 参巴四季豆 82K (M) Very delicious with nice crunchiness to it. Chicken Herbal Soup 原盅炖鸡汤 55K Great to end the meal before dessert. Felt very much healthier compared to all the good stuff above. A great meal eventhough the price might be a bit burdensome for chinese food. Great place to celebrate special occasion. The server attitude is also top notch. Will be marked for recommendation.

Its authentic chinesse food restaurant, but with price they are have is quite expensive with food portion and taste they are have.

Meey (pronounced may) was a delightful and helpful server. I recommend her highly. My food was wonderful. The only complaint is that after ordering pangsit goreng, Meey had to come back to tell us they were out. I didn't like the soup, but it was just the way it should have been. I didn't order it, nor would I have ordered it, but my Chinese friend liked it. I would definitely consider going there again. Oh, they still had the Ramadan specials...

An authentic Chinese restaurant in Plaza Indonesia. Right in the corner across miniapolis. We came when the covid-19 restriction was relaxed by the government. So 50% capacity. We ordered several menu: the samsui ginger chicken is top notch. Chaipo fried egg is tasty. Olive rice is just ok. Cereal prawn is so so. Gurame a la Penang is very bad- too earthy flavour. Cap cay is a disaster - contains of what look like pickles trimmings. Chinese tea chrysanthemum is ok. Service = friendly but very disorganized, several mistakes and slow too. Those bad review was probably due to covid-19? Seems so. We came after 2 weeks opening due to covid-19 closure. Will we back again? No.

Nice Singapore Chinese restaurant chain. With their signature disk, Samsui Chicken. Boiled chicken with nginger dip. The taste is the same as their restaurant in Singapore.

After so many times eat here, finally i wrote a review. Everything is good here. Price still ok, service is good and food is absolutely amazing. If you love chinese food, you should try it here.

One of my all favorites restaurant in Plaza Indonesia. Love the vibes, and their Ginger Chicken will be always my favorite in this place. They have others Chinese food option, and the vibes in this restaurant is chill and lovely

Still one of our faves Chinese restaurants, especially for the Samsui chicken, claypot tofu, ginseng soup and deer meat. Been eating here fo years with my family and friends, and the quality of the food are always stable, both here and in Singapore. The layout of the restaurant was always nice and I love how they provide privacy with the layers and dividers. People were nice and friendly, the servers were always polite and helpful. I mostly visit not during lunch or dinner time, cause I enjoyed a more relax ambience. And thanks to my IF schedule, my dinner time is much earlier than most people, so the services that I get were almost always relax and thoughtful. Will definitely be back again for sure.

It's good and tasty, service is quite fast, the ambience is good, and the price is reasonable. Is this the best Chinese restaurant in Jakarta, no, does the price worth the food, also no. But compared to the very pricey food options on level 3 Plaza Indonesia, it is the most reasonable. They also sell deer meat which I don't have any interest in trying, but for people who do like it, it's a treat. Since I do not know any other restaurant in Jakarta that sells deer meats.

Not good as before. The food now taste bland. The chicken and olive rice was okay fish skin was nice. Soup was bland. Service is good though. Was surprised that the restaurant is full.

the food is delicious, very fast served 👌🏻 but several times the waiter served wrong food or other table’s, and at the end we were billed for food that was not served to us. But it was all under our expectations for the first timers, we didn’t expect too much. We enjoyed our late lunch anyway. All the best 🤙🏻

Foods are descent, prices are ok, best recommended is egg.

Their ginger chicken is juicy and fresh. Also the coconut shake it tastes good and not too sweet. But I feel dissapointed when ordered their yangchow fried rice. It takes about 30 minutes to served while the other food is already on our table but fortunately it tastes good. The staff are responsive and have a great service. Well overall its good to have a dinner here.

Come back here again for comfort food. Chicken ginger soup is good for my health.

Been here and other branches many times since 2014. Almost all menu are “descent” and delicious, relatively. The food here bring comfort as home cooking. My favorite is Olive rice and Caipo Egg.. Try the fish skin with salted egg yolk..😋😋
