Is this really a 5 star hotel? They made me wait for 20 minutes for my room, meanwhile it was already 2.40 when I got there (check in time should be 2 p.m.) they said there were large groups before me who were just checking out. As the room's ready, the receptionist guy yelled my name instead of came to me. Breakfast can't be delivered to my room as well. basically they can't deliver anything to the room. I called for a set of spoon and fork, they say I have to go to the restaurant myself because he (the man who answered the phone) was alone there and he couldn't leave his table. as I went there, there were many people there. what do you mean by being alone, huh? This will be my last time staying here. The worst so called 5 star hotel.

This is not a 5 star hotel by international standards. It is barely 3 star. Having already paid for 14 nights I'm checking out early. Some of the issues: - Room was filthy (dead insects and human hair on floors, cracked bathroom sink and stained furniture) - Room service is nonexistent (the phone line doesn't work, when I tried calling another line and being transferred the call disconnected) - Gym was closed despite being advertised, no mention or apology from staff - Laundry service inexplicably bangs the door loudly around 8am and doesn't understand English anyway - Adjacent to mosque so was woken up at 4am every morning This is by far the worst '5-star' hotel I've stayed at.

This is a pretty classic hotel, conveniently located near the Gambir train station and several government ministries. Even though the bathroom had a tub, it couldn't really be utilized for taking a proper bath, because the water was not warm enough. I feel the hotel didn't offer everything as advertised.

Nice 2 nights staycation last week. Clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast and lots of variety. The location is also very okay. Recommendations for those of you who want to vacation in Jakarta..love !

Stayed here for 2 nites after staying 6 nites in Bandung. We were welcome by the concierge staff who were very helpful with our luggage. Our check-in was handled by Mr. BAYU, who were very friendly & warmth. He gave us brief info on our stay & Aryaduta hotel benefits as membership. Additionally, he navigates us on the hotel amenities. The room was clean, neat & spacious. However, the odour from the toilet was not so fresh, which we believe is the old drainage system. The view was fantastic facing the main road with the monument called Tugu Tani (Farmer Statue). Overall, our stay was awesome. The staff are all friendly & always greet and smile. Great job, ARYADUTA MENTENG

Aryaduta Menteng is a legendary hotel need to be visited for those who knew the history of Jakarta. It has their own stories and fairytale about Jakarta. Old school hotel but still nice. Bed and pillow amazingly will comfort you but the furniture kinda old and some looks like stains. Service was good. Pool was good they had adult and child side. Price for the hotel is reasonable.

It used to be my favorite Hotel in Jakarta for many years. Now when i visit it its like coming to a different Hotel but not a better one. This Hotel has been extremely popular among foreigners but now you can find almost none of them there but locals. The before excellent foreign management has been changed to local management and the result out of it This Hotel turned to a sub standard and for locals only. The room are cheap but still the same old stuff i know from the 90s. Restaurant the same reduction in service. It used to offer international buffet along with excellent breads but now only reduced to local dishes with limited selection. It is visible since they have no knife ready on the table but spoon and forke only? The ones Jakarta Night life Hotspot "Taverne" has been closed. I am shocked and very disappointed why the owner let go it that way down. It looks it becomes popular among governmental staff, at least there were many for lunch.

Its room need to be adjusted with adequate light and renewed furniture and decoration and also replace carpet and curtain. Air conditioner and water heater perfectly fine, fast respond and friendly staff. Hotel locate at main road, and have convinience access to other place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Aryaduta Menteng during my visit to Jakarta and I am confident that I made an excellent choice. The hotel boasts a strategic location in the heart of Jakarta, nestled in the charming area of Menteng. It is conveniently close to major landmarks such as the Gambir Train Station, Merdeka Square, Jakarta Cathedral, and Istiqlal Mosque, to name a few. Despite its age, the hotel is impressively well-maintained, radiating an old-world luxury that harks back to its prime 30-40 years ago. We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a deluxe suite without even requesting one. The room was spacious, clean, and furnished with comfortable beds. High-speed Wi-Fi and splendid room views added to our satisfaction. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of options that were all very tasty. The staff were consistently helpful and accommodating. The presence of Blue Bird taxis in the hotel parking lot added an element of convenience to our stay. In conclusion, I believe that the Aryaduta Menteng offers excellent value for its comfort and strategic location within Jakarta. Its rates are much more affordable compared to other nearby hotels. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and I will certainly consider staying here again upon my return to Jakarta.

Ini kedua kalinya saya menginap di Aryaduta Menteng. It was a pleasant stay meskipun kamarnya perlu banyak pembaruan dari sisi furniturenya yang a bit old. However, the room is quite spacious. The service was excellent. Every staff never forget to greet and smile. They're ready to help everytime we need. Breakfast was great with various tasty foods. Love it. And the location is superb, close to Gambir station. Only ten minutes to get there.

Great experience. The rooms were nice and had some great spaces for our large group to gather. Live music that encouraged some of the teens in our group to come up and sing. The pool and spa were closed which was a disappointment.

Need some healing activity, Aryaduta is where you need to go. The best place for staycation, not just they have the best hotel facility but they also had the perfect location for exploring the great city of Jakarta. Museum, shopping, street culinary is an easy acces from here 😁

Frequently go here for the swimming pool facility. It is very clean. Restroom, changing room, jacuzzi, and cafeteria are available. The food and beverage options are not as many, but they tasted decent.

I recently stayed at the Aryaduta Hotel and was highly impressed with the level of service I received. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel also had a fantastic restaurant, with delicious food and excellent service from the waitstaff. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Sheraton Hotel.

It's good factor is just the location. Nothing special with breakfast menu, the room clean up missing some spot that was not cleaned up. Laundry service need 24 hrs to be done and it's not so convenient. The worst thing I've experienced in this hotel was the dirty window, it was dusty and lots of dirt sticking outside the window glass

It located in the heart of Jakarta. Very comfortable rooms, and great hospitality. The food menu is vast and the staff was really cooperative as they prepared a pure vegetarian meal for us which is not a part of their menu. Overall a great stay & highly recommended.

Stayed here for celebrate first anniversary with husband. Room kinda old but clean. Quite big for superior type. Request for a lil special decoration and they did wel. Even they gave us anniversary cake. Thank you very much for the gift! The pool is big and there's also Jacuzzi. Oh, there's pool for kids too! For breakfast, all menu are so good for us. Location. Ofc it's located in central of Jakarta so it's near from everywhere. There are many coffee shops nearby that you can go by walking (well around 10-15 minutes)

Spacious but outdated rooms. Generally clean but really showing their age. Bathroom shower was clogged and flooded. Location is great in central Jakarta. Overall, I felt it’s not worth the price paid and without being renovated, I would not stay here again

Great experience at Hotel's resto, but can't say the same about the room. A little attention details on some spots would be nice (e.g. : dust at wardrobe, stain spot in bathtub). But overall I'd give it 4.7 out of 5

My Office held an Event in one of their meeting rooms. I was assign to prepare the room 1 day before. when I got there, I was carrying printers, bag of standing banner and file folder, and not allowed to enter the lobby and must using the loading dock. At that I was said to the security officer, that My office already paid for the meeting room and I was assign to prepare the room. I was treated like I was a vendor of an event. This hotel will be out of our list of option for next event.

Vintage hotel in the heart of capital city. Affordable price with complete facility. Spacious room, full amenities, bathtub, swimming pool, good food & service. Very recommended for family staycation.

The room is spacious, the bed is so comfortable. We love the pool especially jacuzzi with hot water. The breakfast also yummy and has many variety of menu. We stay during christmas holiday and to celebrate my daughter birthday, but sadly its not weekend, so we can't try the kids activity. Maybe next time, if we have a chance to stay again in Aryaduta Menteng during weekend, most probably will try kids activity to make our kiddos happy.

Great hotel, great staff, centrally located. The hotel has specialty restaurants, Japanese (Shima) and Italian (Ambiente). The location is very good as it is located near the government offices. There is a taxi counter to help you if you need one

I stayed in this hotel before covid and everything was fabulous but recently stayed for two nights and it was quite disappointing. Everything was quite old and poor maintenance, service was average as well. The location is good

A 5-star hotel, strategically located near to the business district of Jakarta. Nice lobby, ballroom for big meeting/workshop, and wonderfull service at meeting area (Mezzanine floor). Service can be slow at JP Bistro (lobby) for a late dinner with a client. I had to wait about 30 mins before I got my order. The room I stayed in looks and feels rather old, but the bed is comfortable and many tv channels, so that's good. No small refrigerator in may room, kindda unusual for a 5-star hotel.

After we stay 4 days in the hotel overall the room, food & service is excellent. I just want to give suggetion for the bathup looks old & carpet in the room little dirty.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Jakarta. From here you can go anywhere in Jakarta and the public transit is also very convenient. The varieties of food they are serving while breakfast is very delicious and includes continental items too. The staff are polite and very helpful. Dicky and Abeng took care of me throughout my 2 months stay in the hotel. Ideally a very good place to stay if you are visiting Jakarta.

A great place in the heart of Jakarta, i've come for training that doen by my Company. In overall the service are excellent, with location that not far from Bundaran HI and Monas, which had a high traffic in busy hour.

Hotel is easily accessible, located on the bigger and neater roads in Jakarta and bus stops are available nearby while not that far from railway station. But rooms are filled with quite old decorations and furnitures, even worse the phone is not fully functional, only one-way communication from the reception to room. Service level and hospitality is sub-standard in the same range of stars the hotel have. Overall not quite satisfied with the hotel for the expectation I had, knowing the hotel is situated near big and important government offices.

The hotel is good, the place is comfortable, the price is not too expensive, the price is good, the comfort is good. The breakfast is also delicious according to taste. And most importantly the location is right in the middle of the city so where are you going to be close too.

This hotel for me is the best value for money. Yes this premise is pretty old. But what I love about old hotel compare to the new one are the room is so spacious and carpeted, has bathtub and hot water is consistently hot. And specific to this hotel, it has hot water jacuzzi... I really love it.

Stayed here for 1 night, just for a short transit during my personal leave. Overall, it was a nice experience. Staff were great & attentive. The room itself was clean & spacious (the cheapest Superior rooms even have bathtubs) but old, with old-school furnitures, and worn carpets, yet it seems they are doing their best to maintain everything. Since the price is so much affordable, what more would you expect?

Nice old school hotel in Central Jakarta. Nice service. In very strategic location. The bed and pillow quiet comforting. If you get lucky you can get a view of Tugu Tani Monument with Jakarta Skyscrapper in the background.

7 Days stay here overalls good. Last day Check out, i was surprised with one of the security in front gate, speaking rude and really offensive! n yes i am offended. I was about to just bring my car to the lobby to put big luggage! Disappointing.

I cant say staying in this hotel was a 5 star experience. Bad bed full of bed bugs bruised my legs and arms during my stay, and i stayed in this hotel for almost a full week (6 days). The foods are good, but can be improved. For fun, i also posted a picture of the aftermath of the recent 6.7 earthquake. It knocked both of the table lamps over. Staying in 15th floor during an earthquake is an unforgettable experience.

Front desk service was excellent. This hotel had the most generous seating area. It provided automatic sanitizer dispensers in various areas and limited the number of guests in swimming pool to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The room was fine, the location was great. I really wish they will renovate the bathroom, replace bathtub with shower instead to make it more spacious, and put more electric plugs (One is surely not enough. I mean, c'mon, people need to recharge mobile phone and laptop and other electronic devices at the same time)

Staff hotel would ask for apology for their mistake in providing wrong bed type in booking app, and give a proper complimentary. Over all good, but still need improvement for their front office staff hospitality, need to be more active and care to their guest.

Five stars hotel with the classic ambience. You'll find it aged but fancy tough. The bathroom has bathtub and the floor it think was made from real marble (idk). Cleanlines OK. Service need more improvement, we need to call like 7 - 8 times to the operator for the additional amenities.

Not many choices of breakfast beside for some meal you have to be wait to be served. The room is spacey just the blanket is not so comfortable, in our opinion. Big hotel in the strategic location close to Monas statue in the centre of Jakarta. A pity I couldn't try the swimming pool and taking pictures as we have to catch to the next city. 4 stars for spacious, friendliness and cleanness.

Its an Nice hotell with nice staff, helpful and pleasant. The pool was good to take a bath in. Rooms are large, nice and clean. Probably coming back to this Hotel in my next visit to Jakarta.

To be honest, the hotel is a bit old, but it is well maintained. The foods really great and Satisfying. The hotel have 3 theme for you to upload on IG. Came here for site visit, preparing a wedding as Cass Organizer. Their Grand Ballroom can held up to 600 pax for the Wedding and I can say the decoration are Timeless. Enjoy your time here

An old hotel with its classic style, the room is clean and the service is fantastic. The rooms itself is OK, but because it is quite old i think the maintenance for small details such as nooks, crannies, drawers is a bit neglected. Overall it was great experience.

Classic hotel with luxurious facility. The rooms are fine. You can see The luxurious at the lobby, and then the ballroom. The restaurant is not too big but the menus are tasty. Located near monas and Patung Tani makes it simply easy to find. The night panorama from the room is just good enough.

The hotel was actually pretty good. It's located near Monas and Gambir Station. One of the thing u can consider if you're from outside jakarta and need a place to stay. The + things from me was the breakfast was wuite variate, and it changes everyday I think. And the second is the pool. They have one big pool with 2 depths. I think it's 1.5 meters and 2 m, separated with some kinds of rope. And the best thing for me is the jacuzzi. When I was there the pool is closed sharply at 6 pm, and the security will locked the acess door to the pool. The - for me is about the rug in the room. The room is actually spacious, so did the bathroom thry have shower and bathub even though I can see that it's already quite old. Even the room is looked clean, but I think they didn't clean the rug properly. Because me and my family stayed there for 2 nights, 2 of my families got allergies. Almost all of their body were itchy after staying in this hotel. So I just want to suggest to the hotel staff and management to pay more attention on the rug and clean them properly.

An excellent breakfast and excellent a daily cleaning as well. I love this place. We plan to stay 3 days and we extended to 5 days. Keep a great job Aryaduta Team.

It's ok and close to Gambir train station. Getting a bit tired. ....couches in the lounge need replacing. Clean. Helpful staff. No spa yet....it's decent value.

Went for the meeting room at Monas Room. The food and drink was up to standard. The stationary and the meeting room was sleek yet old school, with very nice natural ambient light.

Came here for wedding anniversary dinner, we both enjoy the buffet and the services of JP Bistro, located right after the entrance. Booking is simple call, and the concierge is promptly responding. Coming right after the buffet is open, the food is available from Goat rice to pickled fruits and salads. Quite a fulfillment for less than Rp 250/pax.

One of the worst experience we had in Indonesia! I don’t understand how it’s a 5 starts hotel as it’s a very tacky place with semi-broken furniture.. but the best thing was the bathrooms that hasn’t ever been renovated. The toilet paper was hold with an old pencil! and the toilet lid was all shelling apart as also was the paint in the shower’s ceiling.. but the #1 price goes with a cockroach in the room as we arrive. In short: it’s a “5**** hotel” that couldn’t even have 2** in any other different country.

This hotel is easy to reach as it's located closes to several landmarks in Central Jakarta. Overall, I would say "excellent". And if you are a Muslim, this hotel is really muslim friendly, why? They provide large praying room, as well you can also have Friday or Jumuah Prayer inside, at P10.

Room is nice eventho the furniture set is old. Food is good. The only problem is the internet speed. Also you cant get a decent phone signal inside the room, which is bad if you want to do tethering. So I end up having to work outside the room, literally had to sit in front of the lift on my floor level

Oldies but goodies, the room is ok, bath tub inside, my room view is tugu tani and it's cool, I think it's better than pool view, the breakfast menu is good, but the parking lot is bit dirty, I saw dead rat on it
