Tv low quality , small bed for twin , tips: the higher floor , the higher quality , but expensive 🤣 but jusg enjoy it.The breakfast food is not delicious to me. But i dont know every people has different taste, well i still prefer im cooking for myself

Service is great, staff is friendly. Twin beds too small for a 5 star hotel, at least make it 2 queens. Also, hairdryer is weak and some are broken. Room furniture and carpet looks old and worn but fairly clean. Too expensive of a rate for a room this quality

My stay at this hotel was enjoyable with a spacious and quiet room, offering a fantastic pool view. The strategic location near a shopping center made finding food convenient. The overall cleanliness was commendable. While the receptionist lacked friendliness (checked in), however the other staff members were welcoming and pleasant. A solid choice for a warm and comfortable stay with family. Thank you Indonesia and Grand Hyatt Jakarta, I can't hardly wait to return!

Spent 8D7N for quarantine days here in accordance with Indonesian Government regulations for people traveling from overseas. The procedure from the airport to the hotel room was quite simple and easy and fully serviced by the staff. I enjoyed my stay here at the Grand Hyatt even though I couldn't leave the room. The food is fantastic and varied which can be selected through the website provided by the hotel or easily ordered directly by phone and the food will be delivered to the room according to the time of order. The view of the hotel is the Bundaran HI and the busy traffic of the city of Jakarta.

We loved our stay so much the first time that we decided to book another stay 10 days later. The staff was friendly and courteous. Easy access to Plaza Indonesia and everything that we needed was near by. My kids had fun at the pool and gym. The breakfast was great. The option they offer for transportation to the airport was very convenient. I look forward to staying here on our next visit to Jakarta.

Very uncomfortable bed & pillows (Hard as a rock). There is a hole in the middle of the bed until my back hurts for a few days. Air conditioning is hot and keep shutting down by itself. Breakfast is over crowded. Menu choice is very limited. Food taste is just okay. Staff is not friendly at all, always busy running around on their own. Keep making mistake taking my orders and delivering the wrong food & drink. Concierge is also not friendly, during check in & check out. They also do not want to accept Gojek / Grab. You have to go down and outside to get your deliveries. Very disappointing 5 star hotel. Would never come back here.

I chose this hotel for my vacation as it is connected to a Plaza Indonesia and in a walking distance to Grand Indonesia. I chose a room which facing to bundaran HI which I enjoyed it very much to sip my morning coffee in the room. The booking and check in process was easy. I was informed beforehand that there would be a construction work during the business hours. However, I was not interrupted at all, and I had an extraordinary quality of sleep. The breakfast area was comfortable and the food selection was incredible. I am totally grateful with the excellent service provided by the staff. Despite all the good things, there was a water leaking from the bathroom roof. It is close to the lamp and the water dripped to the bathtub. I believe this issue can be resolved soon so the next guest would not have to experience this. As advised, there are upgraded rooms available which I am so keen on trying for next time. Overall, I did enjoy my stay in Grand Hyatt Jakarta.

The concierge is really helpful. I wasn't staying, but my friend did, and they go to a great length calling my cellphone to ensure i received the package from my friend. The only feedback i have: The parking space is quite confusing. The exit lane doesn't have a way to go back to the parking area other than doing reverse.

disappointing to say the least. room was smelling like mold, ac was doing a really intense noise like i was sleeping close to an airplane turbine. i had to take an PCR and from the facility on the hotel came out Positive after going to a trustworthy laboratory the result came NEGATIVE. nobody in the Hotel told me anything about it, they let us become stressed about the situation considering we had a flight to catch the following day. breakfast was short of options and the overall feeling of the hotel is Old & Unfashionable. Worst Hyatt experience ever. well done Hyatt Jakarta you lost a customer for life.

Seems a little understaffed when we went. Luggage took 4 hours to be delivered to our room after checking in, and request for bottled water to the room took an hour. However, staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was very crowded on Sunday but was fine on all other days with great selection of food. Loved the gym, very well equipped and very quiet during the morning and afternoons when I went. Very nice hotel bar (Burgundy) on level 4 with a pretty view. Great location for a hotel if you love to shop.

The staff exhibited friendliness and a willingness to assist beyond expectations, and the accommodations in the bedroom exceeded our requirements. It was indeed an outstanding experience.

One of the best hotel in Indonesia with historic past. The architecture is grand but rather too old and not too modern. The room itself is comfy but feels 'not from this era' aka old. It is spacious and there are many free amenities inside. Breakfast menu is various and taste good, there are many choices mostly international dishes. The service is very helpfull and taking any initiative when we need help. 5 star hotel indeed.

During my recent stay at what is touted as a premier 5-star establishment, I encountered a series of unfortunate events that regrettably compel me to advise against lodging here. From the outset, the allure of luxury and comfort promised by the hotel was quickly overshadowed by the grim reality of my accommodations. Most notably, the centerpiece of the room, the bathtub, was found to be egregiously defective, leaking water to the extent that my clothings were completely soaked. This incident not only caused significant inconvenience but also highlighted a glaring oversight in the hotel’s maintenance protocols. Despite the reputation that precedes a hotel of this caliber, the response to my complaints was underwhelming. The staff, while courteous, failed to rectify the situation in a manner that one would expect from a facility priding itself on exemplary customer service. The lack of immediate and effective action to address such a critical issue was disheartening and fell short of the high standards anticipated by guests. In light of these experiences, it is with regret that I must caution potential visitors to reconsider their stay at this establishment. The essence of a 5-star hotel lies not only in its aesthetic appeal and amenities but also in its ability to provide flawless service and accommodations. Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to those expectations, and as such, I cannot recommend it to those seeking a truly luxurious and hassle-free experience.

The lobby is certainly grand that fits a 5-star hotel, however the front desk experience is not a 5-star. The newly renovated room is a disappointment, so thoughtless. For example, the tap is fixed too far from the basin causing water to splash all over the vanity; there are two basins fixed in such a small vanity leaving not much room to put other stuff; there are so many things that go wrong in the design of the bathroom. Next is the tv, it can be turned to face the bed or the sofa but you have to turn your head or your body, so uncomfortable. The amenities are of low quality, their shower gel causes skin rash as it contains harsh chemicals. Front desk staff are not well trained at all. Most guests here are locals or Asians. The breakfast buffet is rubbish.

The location is very strategic to those shopeers or who have business in the center of Jakarta. There are also a lot of routes to reach public transportation (MRT and Transjakarta) to avoid jam during rush hour. The room was a nice. In my personal thought, deep down I expected the room could be more modern than the nearby hotels. The room I used still had old style interior with quite disturbing odor. On the bright side, the view was directly facing the Selamat Datang landmark, and luckily my room had an alcove to enjoy it. Only if I had my windows cleaned from the outside, because it was raining and a bit fogging. The service was delivered swiftly. The only requested thing that did not come to me was Sajadah the prayer rug. The food was good. It has basic international and traditional options on the menu. But not so many options for someone demanding like me. :)

Currently under renovation, will have to wait until the face lift is done to fully appreciate the Grand Hyatt Jakarta

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. A great experience it was and I am happy to share it. My stay exceeded my expectations in every way. I was greeted with an air of elegance and sophistication that set the tone for the entire experience. The cleanliness of the rooms truly stood out. My room was not only impeccably tidy but also exuded a sense of comfort that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness was truly commendable and added to the overall sense of luxury. The one and only thing, that is somewhat negative is the coffee. Yes of all places, in Indonesia, I could not get a decent cup of coffee for breakfast. Though the staff did make me another coffee it is something that needs work to make the stay perfect.

Stayed on one of their refurbished standard rooms on the 12th floor. Spacious layout & brightly lit room with a separate luggage storage cum walk in wardrobe. Large windows looked out to the adjacent malls and pool area. Comfortable king size bed with control switches on both sides for easy access. I loved their lemongrass scented toiletries which smells amazing. Felt the shower flooring was rather slippery when soapy/wet, could do with a layer of non-slip spray or a mat for added safety. Good breakfast spread of continental and local food with an extensive range of fresh juices and jamu available. Very strategically located at central Jakarta and connected to Plaza Indonesia that provides additional dining options. Grand Indonesia mall is a short walk away with more affordable shopping and eateries.

Great place to stay. The breakfast menu varies and Just need to be careful during car free day. If you're ordering grab, much easier to get the driver from PI west lobby. Overall a great experience staying and attending my friend's wedding here

The best Jakarta hotel ever. I have been a customer for thirty years. I swear by it twice a year. I thank the hotel management and all the employees. Last year, I forgot the amount of a thousand dollars in the room after checkout. I called them in the afternoon from Bali and told them because I forgot a sum of money in the room. Less than an hour later, they called me. They said we found the amount and in the deposits. I thank them. Thank you very much for their honesty.

My wife got sick during our stay. They were super helpful providing medicine and sent the breakfast to our room. 5th floor has jogging track and nice pool (central jakarta standard), hotel gym pretty good. My wife loves the indonesian cuisine here.

A top hotel in a top location. The lobby is laid out in a pleasing way and you can easily sit there for an hour soaking in the atmosphere Nice view of the Welcome Statue. Plaza Indonesia is a nice maintained mall and you need not ever leave..

Great spacious room which appear recently renovated, flawless check in and out experience. Breakfast location space and food selection are a bit limited compared to other hotels like Shangri La. Excellent location on top of Plaza Indonesia and short walk to Grand Indonesia with many food options. A bit difficult to exit if heading south.

Loved everything about this hotel. Good location and excellent rooms. Housekeeping team even folded elephant and dinosaur towels for my children. Front desk and concierge can be improved as even though they were helpful, they seemed to be doing it grudgingly.

Had a wonderful experience staying here. The staff were all very nice , polite and attentive to details. The service is remarkable, and it made me want to stay with Hyatt wherever i go. The breakfast was really one of the best food i tasted in Jakarta. They have a diverse spread of asian and western food but the best is definitely the indonesian cuisine like the savoury martabak. It was so good. The rooms are very comfortable and clean as well. The location is very central and easy to access other places. It is right infront of a metro. Overall, i highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Jakarta.

The best hotel that I ever stayed. It has everything that a family wants. Loved the idea of having a large sofa bed. The direct connection to the mall of Plaza Indonesia, it's is actually part of the hotel was a huge plus for me. No need transportation to move around the hotel. Surrounded by multiple malls walking distance. Breakfast was fantastic and exceed my expectations except I wished they should include Indian breakfast. View was awesome and the pool was huge. Loved the smell of the room of lemon grass fragrance, soo fresh. It's a definite come back for me again and again.

Spent 4 Nights in Grand Hyatt Jakarta. 27 Sept -1 Oct Good: 1. Direct access to Plaza Indonesia (one of the top shopping malls in Jakarta). 2. Room is Very Spacious 50sqm and it has working desk, sofa, mini sofa bed. Bathroom also has separate shower and toilet. There is a dedicated space for luggage and hanging your clothes/ suits. Need to Improve on: 1. Food: Breakfast is standard. Lack of varieties. I know the restaurant (grand cafe) focuses on indonesian cuisine but if u serve the same menu for 4 days straight, is it lack of creativity or too lazy? For example soto ayam as soup. From the first breakfast till sunday, the soto ayam section still there. I mean, u can change it to chicken soup or sup merah. There is also vegetable section only serves gado2. I mean it is possible if u make ketoprak maybe? Or another indonesian vegetable styles? So the guest wont be bored. 2. Food refill: it happens when i want to have breakfast on certain food, the food always empty (beef sausage, satay maranggi,) always empty. There is something wrong with the quantity food they make. My suggestion for satay, you can limit per portion 2 pcs/ person. So everyone can enjoy the satay and not wait too long. 3. Lack of ppl in breakfast?: me and my wife even need to find spoon and fork by ourself because nobody respond. Maybe because it was a holiday but still not a reason for 5 star hotel standard 4 . Little bit miss- communication regarding our plan to extend a day. One staff said there is an available room and already put note for us but others said full. Need to improve because kinda annoying i have to go back and forth only to make sure that i get a room for my stay-extension. Overall very good hotel. With small improvements could be better. Oh and big applause for 3 staffs below 1. Chef Denny: for personally making my daughter's breakfast request. (Chicken soup). She really enjoyed it. 2. Pak Danis: for outstanding service in our last day breakfast. 3. Mbak Diandra/Divandra: for the utmost effort to find the available slot for our stay-extension

Place looks clean and modern. With 2 glitzy malls within 5 minutes walk, the perfect base for a shopping trip. Room facing the roundabout so the street noise is loud at night and in the day you might hear a protest.

Simply great stay! Beautifully refurbished rooms and all other facilities too. Just didnt have the time to enjoy all the privileges. The buffet breakfast at Grand Cafe was good. Wide spread of choices with friendly and helpful services from the staff especially Danis and Indra. Thank you guys.

Everything is perfect, new lounge. Great selections of food. Stayed in twin bed, I can say it’s 90cm twin bed size which is very small to my standards. The beds look too small for the room size. They should upgrade the bed to at least 100-110cm.

Check in to hyatt at 27 dec and 7 jan for 2 night each used my hyatt comp and my college rate and it was terrible. Arrive at hotel at 4.40pm, room was not ready they still cleaning it waiting for so long just for check in. Be able to go to the room after 40mins check in such waste a time just for check in. Def not satisfied with their front service. As 5star hotel this is unacceptable. The front office name is Alfa not very welcoming not smiling at all. Such a disappointment staying at grand hyatt Jakarta they could done so much better as 5star hotel.

Had a generally good staycation experience. Staff provided warm and friendly service. Sofa bed in the King Family Room needs to be improved on as it did not provide good support.

it was October 2021, they're still having maintenance here and there but still amazing hotel to be in while you visit Jakarta.

Love how big and complete the standard room are, love the views, love the staffs who are super friendly no matter how I look. We stayed there the same time with the guest of the country, yet the staffs still treat us nicely and gave the best service, no discrimination at all. I really appreciate that. There were vast options of meals at the restaurant and I like them all, they manage to deliver local cuisine in high quality which is I rarely found in another 5-star hotels. I wish I can take my family there next time to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and have dinner at the on five terrace again, what an experience.

Prepare your peduli lindungi app for entering this hotel. If you're walking from MRT station like me you have to walk to Plaza Indonesia for the entrance. There you will be directed by the sign at Plaza Indonesia Lobby. There will be some check points, some for your bag, some for your vaccine certificate. The hotel itself is very luxurious, the staff is well trained, there's some construction at the lobby so I didn't get the grand theme of the lobby. While I'm here the gym and club is closed cause of pandemic regulation. The room is well thought and comfortable. One down side is that the numbering plate is not well lit, I got a bit lost looking for my room.

After covid PPKM lifted we returned but MANY of old staff no longer there, new staff were not as well trained and efficent as the previous and was so sad to see Hyatt standard had fallen.

Although this place is oredy 30 plus years old, it is still well maintained. We love the atmosphere of Sumire Restaurant, where a real Japanese taste foods are served professionally.

Nice hotel. It’s located right in the center of the Jakarta Pusat. It’s a very trafficked area because it is a very popular destination. It is same building with Plaza Indonesia - high end shopping mall.

I was there for a small birthday party. Great place. Need a bit improvement in the service especially in serving the food for a party. Need to manage better

The first night i was checked into an unrenovated room. In all honesty those rooms should not even be rented out to customers. They are below the brand standard and price paid for so I was quite disappointed. My flight didn't arrive til past midnight so the front desk gave me no option but to stay in the room for the night. The next morning (today) I was transferred to a renovated room which is up to standard and what I was expecting. Now I'm hoping the hotel will offer something to make up for my first night. Let's wait and see..

Fantastic! The usual level of service and feel you get from a Hyatt hotel. Newly renovated lobby looks just great and welcoming. I really have nothing negative to comment. Aside from the usual traffic which cannot be controlled, it is near to malls and etc.

Well this place place is close to our heart. This is the place when I proposed to my wife!! Many years ago before we moved to the place we call home now, Melbourne. Grand Hyatt is a fantastic place to hang out. Go to the restaurant by the pool on the 5th floor. The food is fantastic. We ordered some finger food and snacks. Highly recommended.

Luxurious premium hotel with strategic place, spacious and luxurious grand ballroom for auspicious events. My only complaint would be there’s no motorcycle parking lot and you have to walk quite far if you don’t ride car or the public transportation.

The hotel is definitely 5-stars but the staff is something more! Fantastic people from the front desk to in-room service and restaurant staff to pool staff. Highly recommend the hotel. Great location and amenities.

My overall experience is amazing. The pool is so great, my kids loves it to the point when they say "lets go to the hotel", they're referring to Grand Hyatt. But there's one improvement I would like to have from Grand Hyatt, I hope they can have a Halal Certified Restaurant in the hotel. With more and more people becoming aware of halal certification and how the certificate gave a sense of security, I know people especially Muslim all around the world who come to Jakarta will choose this hotel.

Stayed in the newly renovated rooms which aside to new fittings design wise was exactly the same as the old style design. Still one of the most convinent location but probably more comfy rooms avail in other of the neighbouring hotels

There is a new policy in place at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. You need to order after 14:00 the high tea otherwise you are not allowed to sit in the lobby. As a diabetic I can not eat all those sweats. So I offered to order something else. Not allowed by the manager so I had to order the high tea and throw it away afterwards. Food waste and not so inclusive by the Grand Hyatt. Bye bye GH hello other hotel lobbies.

This review for the Grand Cafe located in the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The food was great. Serving the appetizer, main course, snack and dessert for buffet style. From Asian Cuisine until Italian Cuisine was served for 11 Dec 2022. Also suitable for family lunch event and private room available with reservation. Unfortunately, the park availability only for the cars and still line up for the entrance. While some accidents happens during my visit and it cause unpleasant experience. I hope it will improve become better the next time i visit.

From the 1st time you exit your vehicle to the time you enter your room, you will be serviced well. Staff are great and the main lobby is a sight to behold. Breakfast was around 25k per person with 50% for a child. Stayed for 6 days and had a great view of Bundaran. There is a "night market" at the back of Plaza Indonesia where you can taste a variety of food.

Impeccable Grand Hyatt service, food and facilities as always. Rooms maintained same spacious layout. My partners and associates always like this hotel. However I do miss something of the old Grand Hyatt character from the 90s. Modernisation, though essential, seems to have left a somewhat colder ambience in my opinion.

Went in for a night. Room was nice and spacious. Had working desk and a sofa as well as table for guests. Bathroom uses good German brand, it was nice and really clean. The bathtub is bigger than usual, and it had shower head and water pressure is really good. TV was also good but no Netflix. Fortunately enough it was hung on an extended arm so you can easily access the back panel and stick on anything you want. Amenities was okay ish. Breakfast at grand cafe was a ok but the coffee was just terrible it tasted very diluted. Not sure if it was just us but wife did complain and it was swiftly replied and we appreciate the fast turn around. Overall it was a good experience for us.

Alwasy had wonderful experiences during my stays here. The new renovated room was incredible, the services always great, the hotel facilities absolutely is the best in the city. Special thanks to Pak Rojali at sports club and Pak Azhar at front office, thank you for being so sincere and helpful. Looking forward for another staycation at Grand Hyatt Jakarta.

Honestly, this hotel's luxury is just a facade. For its high price, it doesn't include breakfast. The room layout is weird. TV in middle, of nowhere, can't even watch it from bed or the sofa properly even when turned on. The Bathroom isn't appealing. The service is also almost non existent. The workers aren't that polite. Kinda rude at a times. The phone wasn't working or at least no guide to show how it works. I actually have to call the hotel's lobby from my own cell. What? The only good thing about this place is the location which is right next to mediocre mall, Plaza Mall, and MRT station. And it's right next to the Bundaran HI. Welp, there are many hotels around the Bundaran, cost less, provide better service. certainly not coming back here. Overpriced fake facade.

The Grand Hyatt Restaurant is very good but the service is not good. One of the servant is not polite by offending me. Maybe Management Hotel have to teach the employees how to talk with customer. This is a Five Star Hotel.
