I sincerely think this hotel is one lovely oasis located smack bang in the middle of busy Jakarta. Price is very reasonable, room was very lovely, tidy, and clean. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. I love their breakfast, they have an amazing array of western and Indonesian breakfast. The jewel though, imho, is their swimming pool! You can tell from my pics, I enjoyed it a lot! 12/10 would recommend to stay here.

Such a great experience. Stayed at their penthouse suite, very nice and clean, and spacious of course. So, the penthouse has a bedroom, walk-in closet, master bathroom with separated toilet and shower and bathtub, powder room, work desk, living room, dining table, mini bar table, and kitchen with toaster plus microwave. My favorite was the living room, the design was modern. Love its warm ambience. Got to try their afternoon tea and cocktail hour, all tasted yummy. The swimming pool was nice, too bad i couldn't try it. Easy check in and check out. Beside those things, a must shout out went to their hospitality. The staff i met was very friendly. The room service was big yes too. So, yes.. definitely one of enjoyable moment :)

I generally had a pleasant stay here. I got a Double room here and the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. I was quite impressed with the gym. There's an upper floor which is a CrossFit section that seemed rather under-utilised during my stay. The pool is pretty interesting in the way it is shaped, so often it feels like you're swimming rounds, rather than laps. I had very mixed experiences at breakfast. When you arrive, you have the option to dine indoors or outdoors by the pool. On my first breakfast, I was given a table without placemats or cutlery. The waitress who led me to my table did not ask if I wanted coffee or tea. I found that this is not the standard practice on my second and third day there. The breakfast spread is generally pretty good with Western, Indonesian and Asian cuisines being offered. There's also a fruit and salad bar, and a pastries counter. I liked that they also rotated the dishes, so even if you stay here for a week, you won't be eating the same dishes every day. I had mixed experiences ordering food deliveries from Gojek and Grab. Motorcycles are not allowed at the front porch, thus, you can arrange to have them wait at the front entrance. I have had drivers enter the carpark and wait at the basement lobby instead. So if you're ordering food from these two services, do take note!

Rooms are terribly old and smelly. Tried to change room but they killed the air freshener in the room. I checked out immediately. Location was great though. Update to Hilton’s reply. Definitely will not come back. Some things have to be done with your ventilation in the toilet. If you don’t take my word, get the management to sleep in the room. And you will understand.

The room and housekeeping were very good. The International Buffet breakfast was really appetizing. Above all, the service from the different departments was genuinely good. It would have been nice if it was a little closer to the airport.

Staffs are friendly and helpfull, I request for room cleaning at 10.30 pm and they sent us a team immediately for do so. We are so happy to stay here and surely will come back. Oh they also have cream And almond croissant at breakfast and it's so tasty🤌🤌 u guys should try it. See you

it was just a very relaxing stay, the ambience and the service all around are just great. if you don't have anything special to do in Jakarta, you can spend a whole week in the hotel with the pool area, the gym, the restaurants and the bar. the food in the buffet restaurant is excellent and for a special occasion you can also go to the a la carte restaurant. I can only recommend it.

I got the room with Gym … it’s not really worth it! The gym at the ground floor is very good!. room gym system is slow and not friendly. My room A/C unit works but does not drop further to 23C .. had a bad night. The hotel had 2 weddings going on so services like restaurants were not fully available… late check out is at 1pm….. after I complained the hotel reacted very well and commented they will improve ! … kudos for that.

Superb Location - Fantastic staff does sound a little over the top. However the hotel offers fantastic value. Our very room had a comfortable bed - nice linen - The room stewards were lovely , cheerful and friendly and very hardworking. Breakfast was fantastic the circumstances. Really well managed hotel. Hope to return soon.

The hotel is very clean and quite spacious. It is located in the city, so not so hard to find foods for dinner. This hotel is also kids friendly as it provides a kid's playground inside. The pool is also nice. However, somehow, I think officer's services in this hotel can still be improved, try to smile more to guests would be great.

I love this hotel. Having a 5 star hotel background, service mechanics mean a lot to me. The entire staff is cheerful, attentive, interactive, proactive, and professional. At other hotels I stayed on this trip I experienced disappointments and frustrations as my requests were met with indifference or being directed elsewhere. However at this property every request becomes a mission. The staff works hard to create a positive guest experience and they are good at it. Food quality is excellent. The breakfast buffet goes on forever and has everything you can imagine and more. Nice gym with quality machines and free weights. The gym has a second floor with lots more equipment. Enjoying a cocktail by the side of their huge pool is as good as life gets and a great way to wrap up a vacation.

It was a wonderful time to have a short holiday with my family. My kid was very happy because of the complete facilities (large pool and kids club) so with the pleasant staff. Breakfast were so variant and delicious.

Excellent location for staycation. Convenience stores, Cikini train station and XXI Cinema all within 5-min walking distance. No need to worry about food bcs there are many restaurants, coffee shops and street food vendors around the hotel. Clean rooms with family-friendly facilities such as indoor kids playground and kids swimming pool.

Nice facility and location. Staffs weren’t that friendly I think. Restaurant was good. A little difficult of you plan to take motorcycle. I could hear water flowing and when people were taking shower on the floor above me, sad. Wouldn’t stay here again for sure.

Generally I had a good experience here. For the most part the staff were very friendly, the room was nice enough and the breakfast was really good. There was just one thing I found disappointing... I was staying as a stopover before my flight back to the UK... I had checked out earlier in the day but went back to collect my bags and asked if it was possible to use the pool/gym shower before I went to the airport... they said there were no towels, but would let me know if they could sort something... 45 minutes later and nothing so I left. Just seemed bizarre, a hotel with no towels?

It was a tropical paradise oasis hidden in the bustling city which was much needed after exploring the sights of Jakarta. Breakfast was delicious and we even got to taste lots of Indonesian specialities and the pool was fantastic. The executive lounge was absolutely brilliant, special thanks to Dyana and Olive who made our stay much better and made sure we were looked after.

The hotel was good, but the room size was small. the overall design of the rooms need to be modernized. the hotel is large and only 2 elevator are servicing the whole hotel which took me ablut 10 minutes to get garb of one. location was bad nothing near it where the center by car takes around 10 minutes where malls and restaurants can be found there. overall i will try other hotels on my next visit

Without prior notification we were initially placed in a room with connecting doors which were not sound absorbent enough, resulting in a noisy first night as our neighbour was a young family with little kids. Fortunately, our request for a room change was well responded, and the next day we moved to a much more quiet room. We loved the lagoon-style pool. It's probably one of the highlights in the hotel. Location-wise, although the hotel may not be close to the mainstream tourist sites and malls, there's enough food options outside within walking distance, that is, if you're into walking. The Cikini area has plenty of food. The cinema close by also offers decent foodcourts and cafes.

Truly exceptional service beyond compare, the US chain could.learn a lot from their Indonesian affiliate. Atmosphere is unbelievably eye candy and having a 100% free breakfast courtroom complete.with 5 separate food types and multiple chefs for on demand orders was quite welcoming change when compared to the bland offerings and one chef if you are lucky and prices of the American version. Come on America, you.can do better!!!!

I like staying at DoubleTree Diponegoro whenever I come to Jakarta for work. Service is good, from reception to dining to executive lounge to gym. Friendly bunch of people. I pay extra for a room with exec lounge access, so my dinner can be settled with their evening canapés. The staff there make it a point to remember you, so by my 3rd trip, I already feel at home there. The canapes served are usually good, and they provide many drink options. Breakfast buffet has good selection of yummy food. Their gym is suitably appointed. The rooms are clean and tastefully done. While it's not right amongst the shopping or commercial areas, it's near enough. This is a good hotel, which I'll keep returning to (for work).

The hotel is nice, has a big pool with sun beds and sun cabanas. Also features an executive lounge for all day snacks and drinks. The price might be a bit high given it's in the city and not at sea side/major point of interest / etc but still a very good value for money. For families with children they also have a nice kids club

Nice staffs, clean rooms, I had like welcome snack when I checked in. Nice pool, the playground not quite big but enough to make your kids busy since they also have console game. The food were amazing, indonesian, western, and asian cuisine are served

Oasis in the heart of Jakarta! This hotel offers a comfortable and greeny atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, big rooms, big pools (probably the best pools in Jakarta), and great food and facilities. You'll forget you're in the bustling city once you step inside.

Our second time and always a good choice for kids friendly hotel in Jakarta. Very comfortable room and good breakfast spread. Kids club made available for the young ones. Super friendly receptionist and staffs. Definitely will be back. Sampai ketemu!

Can i just commend the manager on having installed standalone sauna pods in the changing rooms at Pool level? No other Hilton properties do this anymore and it made the stay so much nicer, in spite of the several inconveniences below. Three issues we encountered with this property, in spite of the compliment above. First, lounge is pretty below average - don't expect much from it. Canape hour: Cocktail selection was dismal, red wine I had was below average and still didn't understand what I drank. They didn't have a menu, so you had to ask and hope you pick up what the staff said. "Cocktails" were generic, vodka orange or G&T. Food was average and always served on canape saucer. Second, hotel breakfast was a mess. You have zero personnel checking and verifying your room number, your pax, your status, prior to being let in. We just walked in after saying our room number and weren't even checked. We received our Diamond Status tablecard after 10 minutes. We noticed huge groups of families just making lots of noise and were scattered everywhere. There was no zoning or family areas. The Hilton Canary Wharf for instance, allocates family tables at another corner, away from couples or less rowdy guests. Food left much to be desired. Third, our request, as Diamond members, to be given a room away from the lift lobby was not met. This meant that every weeknight we were there, from the 10pm wedding crowds, to the 12am late night party crowds, were all keeping us up as our room was right in from of the elevator. Also doesn't help that there were only two lifts serving 18 floors and 20 rooms per floor.

Terrible experience. The ladies have zero communication skills. I waited 2 hours to be checked in and didn’t got told it will take over 90 min for the from to be cleaned. Waisted my time. Instead of coming with an offer for a gold member I got offered a free upgrade that I receive regardless of my status. Do not sell rooms you don’t have ready to check in.

One of the best Hilton hotels that I booked in over 10 different Countries and the best DoubleTree hotel. The room is specious, very clean and the best are the very helpful and welcoming staff. The food is also delicious.

I had a really great stay here. Staff were exceptional. The hotel gym has a large outdoor area for HIIT/CrossFit workouts which was a really nice surprise.

I booked the room then i read the review on google and feeling frustrated because i saw some negative comments. Told my husband lets just follow the flow and guess what, we got the nicest room with super attentive staff that helps us throughout everything!! Shout out to the front desk for wanting to guide us to the place that we want to go, fukk Of courtesy and very helpful, form the security, bellboy, and everything, it was a 5-star service. Breakfast was so so good, very widespread, thoughtful, because there is something for everyone, like my children loves the cereal spread, pastries, oh and the pool and kids club? I LOVE IT! Kids club is not too bog but u like it as i dont have to keep on finding them, as they are just enjoying the slide with the ball pit. I love it so much. I had a wonderful experience here, it was my first time at Sea Grain Restaurant & Bar, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta - Diponegoro. The staff are hospitable, given me warm welcome. The food was fantastic especially the grill tenderloin, very recommended to try. Not to forget also they have very delicious Signature Cocktails that you need to try it here, Special thanks to CORY who was took care of me during my dinner, he is very nice, checking me time to time. Will be back in next opportunity!

We arrived way early before the check in, and Melati at the check in desk, was so sweet and welcoming. She helped us with all she can to make sure we have a nice stay. Everyone else was also nice, it was a great stay. Next time we are in Jakarta, we will definitely stay here!

Had a good experience staying here, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast and pool crews. Mas Aditya was very assistive. Our room was spacious and comfy. Facilities were extensive. Breakfast was unexpectedly good.

This was our first staycation during pandemic, we need it very much for the sake of our kids' stress release. I have done so many research before, especially whether or not a hotel has expatriation quarantine programme and of course the protocols during the stay. Very grateful that Double Tree meet our expectation on those aspects, plus the gorgeous pool my kids love very much. The only downside is the food, perhaps due to many difficulties especially in times like this. But we still managed to make the kids happy and enjoy the stay, so it was OK. Definately will be back to Double Tree again, our kids love it! Thank you!

I went here with my family for a short staycation. Great hotel. Loved the service, especially for the delightful welcome cookies. The swimming pool was large and we had great fun there. Room was clean and nice. Too bad the bed was actually just queen size, it was a bit cramped for the three of us, so my husband had some trouble sleeping. The hotel have a kids club, but during our stay it was not open. However the kind staff surprised us by bringing us a set of building blocks to our room for our son to play. During breakfast I didn't get to walk around much cause I was feeding my son. So my husband was the one who walked around and took various food for us. Most of the breakfast that he took was just okay. Some food were dissapointing (especially the waffle, it was too dense to be called a waffle), but the pastry was extremely delicious. That almond croissant was one of the best almond croissant I have ever had!!!

Lovely feeling when you had a short getaway in busy city like jakarta, relaxing on the pool side, swimming around the pool with magnificent view, and breath taking city light. Good price compare to the hospitality, facility, and responsive housekeeping staff. The only hotel i know in jakarta who has beauriful mosque inside...thank you! This is my first time, it will be 2nd, 3rd and so on Keep up the good work to All double tree staff, ypou guys are awesome

Pleasant stay, clean, cozy, spacious room. Please fix / make sure the publicly placed hand sanitizer dispenser is working. In room breakfast was good but the portions could use a little improvement. Looking forward to come back here again and getting the full hotel experience.

Room is spacious and well equipped, comfortable bed. Good for trainspotting. Good health protocol. Awesome welcome cookies! Super big lagoon pool, too bad there's 1 hour time limit! Breakfast spread is good, but understaffed for serving. Two elevators are not enough on busy hours, especially when there's event in the ballroom. Nice hotel for in-room staycation, but if you often venture out, the elevators are major pain.

It was my first time to stay in a 5 star hotel. I was stay with my family we were fascinated with the facility. Located in strategic area, surounded by entertainment & public transportation, easy access. You guys can easily find culinary spot closes to the hotel. They have a large pool also the breakfast was soo good, they also have Kids Club (Playground for kids) so you can take your kids playing around. Overall it's an amazing experience for me, will come back for sure.

I have a beautiful pool view from 11th floor. I really love the hotel interior design and pool. The pool has a Bali vibes. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I ordered fried duck and it was very delicious. At the pool I also ordered the mini pizza. It is a must! Just one note, it would be better if the time consume of changing room could be quicker. Overall, I recommend this as a place to spend some quality time with a group of friends or family with kids.

Ada 30% off, 380k ++ for adult, 190k for children (my youngest is 6yo so she was in the range) various food, from western like roast beef, pizza, pastas, asian like sate, tom yum, sashimi n sushi, seafood grill and many more! O..o..and included with bottles of free flow fresh water.

Worry less for staycation during pandemic. They provide in-room dining for breakfast. Committed staff for maintaining safety procedure (capacity monitoring for kids area, pool, and gym). Also they have very friendly and humble team member.

My favorite hotel whenever I’m in Jakarta. The best part would be the CrabTree amenities in the room. Second best part would be the whatsapp service, so you could request everything through chat, whenever and wherever you need something. All the staff was so helpful and caring during the stay. They keep checking on you through whatsapp. Super recommended

5 star hotel. The staff was amazing, so welcoming and will cater to any of our needs. We received a hot cookie on arrival which was a lovely touch after a long journey. We recommend going to the spa and getting a massage, excellent value for money.

Last minute decision to stay at this hotel and it was the best decision indeed. The hotel was well maintained, love the space and the trees. It is really a retreat. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was very professional from the valets, front desk, housekeeping and pool staff. I would stay again when in Jakarta. Breakfast area is big with a variety of choices. Special thanks to the staff in the Executive Lounge for sorting out my Covid test results in time for my flight and arranging a late check out.

Gotta love the signature cookies. Plus 👍👍 for Evelyne the receptionist for warm welcome & help. Pool was clean and safety protocol well in place. If the cleaning guy can find other timing to clean would be great. (Was at the pool at 7.15 am). Everything else was great. Love the corner room with the view.

The hotel is located in the center of Jakarta, great location, top notch facilities, big pool and we love the gym. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. The room is clean, comfy and quite spacious. The food are great with big buffet breakfast with plenty choices. Definitely gonna come back to stay here in the future and recommend it to our family and friends

Beds are comfortable although they don't have smart TVs and limited programs. Temperature in the public areas and restaurant is a bit too warm. Food at the restaurant is so-so, but banquet meals are delicious. Popular place for family staycation with their nice pool. Location is central, short distance to many main attractions, but expect busy traffic.

Nice place for short gateway in the city. Nice pool for kids. Delicious breakfast. Room is clean with a good view, but it needs better sound proofing since we can hear snoring from next room.

The 2 nights I stayed here were really nice. The room was clean and comfortable, the staffs were helpful and attentive, and the breakfast was also good. The hotel's location is actually not that bad, but going to or from the hotel will be subject to the notorious Jakarta traffic. If you're looking for a staycation (with your partner or family), then this might just be a perfect hotel for you. p.s. The cookies they give on check-in were nice as well 😋

Great room, only lacking bathtub (only in Suites room) The pool is the main attraction here (great view), the big one is 1-1.4 meters deep and the toddler pool is 50cm deep. If you have toddler they also have small kids indoor playground If your kids like watching trains pasing by, choose the city view on higher floor Great breakfast also with lots of variety, nice taste, great interiors either indoor & outdoor, & also nice services. They have big outdoor gym as well as indoor, pretty much complete machines/tools for gym goers There are also several public park in the Menteng area, great for morning jog/walk

As an honors member, this property is great. Got in at midnight, and they were very helpful in making sure my arrival was simple and that I was settled. Staff is excellent and very personable. Breakfast is amazing, and was included with my stay. I would like to mention that this property isn't as well located for tourists, without taking a car.

Service was excellent. Breakfast was amazing, offering spreads from around the world as well as a snapshot each day of typical Indonesian street food. Room was lovely decorated also with honeymoon message. Room however was a bit shoddy with bits of wallpaper missing and little bits missing but otherwise, great stay, lovely pool and attentive staff.

I stayed at the Doubletree Jakarta twice and have loved each occasion. The high standard of professionalism from staff, the excellent buffet breakfast and lunch, and the exceptional pool make this place an oasis from the hectic Jakarta life outside. I had twin rooms for each occasion and were very clean, comfortable big beds and an excellent A/C. I will note that there is some wear to the room, but nothing that should distract you from having a comfortable stay. Whether you are here for leisure or work this is a great place to stay and you won’t regret it.

I like the room, and I think the hotel's lobby, restaurant, swimming pool, and also the Kids Club are all excellent and well-designed. Our breakfast was delicious, and the selection was quite varied. All staff we met were super friendly and very helpful, especially the one who helped us find our son's toys that were left behind in the bathroom near the pool (sadly we forgot to ask his name). We just hope next time we stay in this hotel again, it won't be as busy as when we had our staycation. There are only two main elevators to take you to your room, so there's always a chance you have to wait a long time to be able to take the elevator when there are so many guests.

Must try swimming in the afternoon, with music playing, it's so relaxing. Locate in Central Jakarta but the area not in the middle of traffic jam centre, so niceee!
