What a pleasant experience here.. Everything was perfect from the service, food, hotel facilities and breath taking view from our room. The room very comfortable and clean. Service was excellent, particularly the staff at the Redlevel Lounge. Many thanks to the staff that checked me in (I'm really sorry I can't remember their name). they were so friendly and helpful.. Overall i had an amazing stay at Gran Melia Jakarta. Highly recommended and I'd totally return.

This hotel is truly a splendor to stay in from the room to the entire ambiance. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which has food options from various countries and is halal. I went there for a wedding anniversary and the staff were so helpful in assisting in decorating the room it was wonderful. Only drawback pool area could do with some updating.

Made here my 8 days quarantine, after come back to Jakarta from abroad. Booked a package. Good service, rooms are fine, staff is helpful, food also very good with a wide menu which is also 24/7 available. Pick up from the airport, PCR tests, all the process also good. Can recommend this place.

The Gran Melia Jakarta is simply a great hotel. First approach into the hotel is stunning, wonderful design, nice lobby and attentive staff. The room is spacious, and you get a plate with fruits as a welcoming gift which was very tasty. I have been to many 5* hotels, but the breakfast in the Gran Melia was outstanding, they literally had everything (and more) - Indonesian Style - Japanese Style - Chinese Style - Soup station - Egg station - Pancake station - Sandwich station - ... Best breakfast experience in my life. Unfortunately, I had a little issue with the taxi-service from the airport to the hotel. But how the staff reacted was out of this world. - Got upgraded to a better room on top level - Got an email from the experience director who apologized - Got an upgrade to use the Red Level Lounge (which was very nice) - Got another hand written letter of the experience director, again with an apologize delivered to my room - It seemed like everyone of the staff members knew who I was, and a minimum of 20 people apologized to me - Got a whatsapp while breakfast from a staff lady, who also wanted "to apologize" again. At some point, I told the staff not to apologize anymore because I was starting to feeling awkard, but this was truly professional behaviour - absolutely top notch. The Red Level Lounge is really nice, it even offers an outdoor area where you can relax. Also drinks and snacks are being served or can be picked up at the buffet. Room service was also extremely good. (just take care about the salad, maybe a little very hot chili is hiding in it) If you plan to stay in Jakarta, I can 100% recommend this hotel. It offers a great experience, the best breakfast and the most friendly and attentive staff I have ever met. Furthermore, also if you plan to stay as a family, this hotel is free of any, how should I call it .. adult disturbance.

My family of 4 stay here for 2 nights with one extra bed for Lebaran holiday. The room is very nice and clean. The bed is big enough for 3 people. The bathroom is also huge with separate bath tub and shower room. Location is actually not bad but a little confusing if you're not familiar with the street and turns. In my opinion, the breakfast foods were just taste so-so though the selections were quite a lot.

Location is not very ideal for tourists, no shopping malls or restaurants nearby, quite far to the center Jakarta. No sidewalk around. Rooms are spacious and clean. Lobby is decorated beautiful and unique. Many kinds of food for breakfast: Indonesian, Indian, Japanese, Western, Chinese. Especially Seafood buffet on Wenesday night, only IDR 410,000++ buy 1 get 1 free, so many dishes, fresh and delicious.

We are 4 days into our 10-day quarantine stay with Gran Melia and we are really impressed by the splendid service. They go above and beyond to meet our needs and always with such kindness and professionalism. The food is tasty and whenever we request something - they arrive within a couple of minutes. We're staying in the Junior Suite which has plenty of space for us to work, hang out, exercise, and the huge bathroom is the cherry on top! We truly feel so taken care of :)

Had a wonderful experience staying at Gran Meliá. The design amazes me and the food are all excellent (one of the best hotel buffet I’ve ever had). The staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Cecep at the restaurant. Would recommend everyone who needs to relax but has no time to leave the city to stay here for a short weekend holiday 💯

Highly recommend this hotel! it was a great experience from check in to check out. The value for the money is unparalleled in Jakarta. Check in was spectacular, the attendant that brought me to my room was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, great size and amenities were wonderful. I could not be happier with my experience! I would definitely return!

Stayed for about 3 months. Everything is good from the room to red level and Japanese restaurant. The only thing that didn’t satisfy me was the Indian “Masala Tea” a lot of room to improve it. Otherwise perfect place to stay for me.

This hotel is so strategic, all foods and drinks they provide are so delicious. The room is comfortable, yet only one thing that I don't like with the facility, it is the bath room at the swimming pool is not kid-friendly, my daughter and my 10months baby were swimming there yet unfortunately the bath room is not okay for us. However, the other things are great like the ways their receptionists help the guests, hope I can be back there soon.

Went to coffee shop only. Sounds from coffee machine and juicer were loud if you sit inside. Space is not too big. Have outdoor seating. Drinks are Ok.

Good hotel, friendly staff. Friendly GM. Nice pool, have small kids play area. The lobby have plenty seating. Lunch is super, love the food, the indian, Japan, europe, and the grilled section's, the breakfast just so so... The room it self is well cleaned, love the atmosphere. But the view, not soo much. My complaint only at their parking spot. The outside parking spot doesn't have any canopy or anything. The basement parking lot, really? I still manage to workaround the small space. But the lightings, man, I barely can see anything, and its daytime. Still, i can park easy, but others, i don't know. The meeting rooms on ground floor is adequate. Depends on how much people you have at one time. The service is excellent. Well, beside the minor thing's that i write said, the hotel it self is perfect.

Good location next to business area. The facilities were well maintained and more than adequate to our needs. The food are excellent.

Everything great, especially all the staff super nice and polite, always greet us warmly, and they try extra mile to ensure we are satisfy. Only lack, the TV is still older type, as I prefer wifi TV whereby I can extend my laptop to the TV through wi-fi for work convenient, which I can find this easily available for other 5 stars hotel. The rest are awesome.

Stayed for a short staycation at the end of Lebaran Holiday. Value for Money Great Value for what you paid. Was upgraded a level above for no extra charge. Room and Bathroom was spacious. Bathroom was well equipped with bath tub, and rain drop shower which we love and a bidet (which we rarely see these days). Though we found the window wasn't well soundproofed. We stayed on 9th Floor, and could hear the loud revving motorbike engine at night quite clearly. Friendly and Helpful Staffs Shoutout to the male pool staff (can't recall his name) for the assistance with the jacuzzi and friendly chat. Facility We found out the late jacuzzi, sauna and steam room had broken down during early covid pandemic when the hotel was closed down, which still yet to be repaired. Though they have built replacement next door, where it used to be the old SPA area. You now need to make a booking to use this facility since it is now being shared for both female and male. The new jacuzzi was a bit of a let down since it is now a small, portable 2 person jacuzzi and we had issue with the hot water. Overall, we had a pleasant short staycation.

I love this hotel, particularly for the food. Gran Via cafe in this hotel is one of the best buffet resto for decade, everybody have to try and prove it. Come on Sunday because the menu is complete on this day, I guarantee you won't regret it.

From the first time my wife and I and my children and grandchildren entered the doors of Gran Melia until we left again to go home, I have found the value of satisfaction in a large family gathering of 30 people at the Cafe for almost 4 hours starting at 6 pm on June 4, 2023. My son who chose Cafe Gran Melia as the venue for this meeting while celebrating my 79th birthday. A special extended family that came together included 3 Ministers, 3 Captain Pilots, 4 Company Directors, 7 seniors over 70 years old, and age groups from 4 years until 80 years all happy. Likewise, Gran Melia's retainers seemed happy to serve us who enjoyed food and drinks without stopping. The enjoyment that Gran Melia offers is not only the type and taste of food and drinks but more than that. Wide doorways, spacious lobby with enough seating, smooth escalators, wide hallways decorated with flowers and colorful lights, friendly receptionist, sturdy and beautiful chairs and tables, spacious dining room, wide selection of food and drinks provided neatly arranged, luxurious cutlery and satisfying table service, all of which function in providing satisfaction value. Do not forget the role of the steps at the entrance which are suitable for the elderly so that they can walk safely to get down and get into the car. I recommend those who are looking for satisfying family gatherings to choose Gran Melia.

Very friendly and helpful staffs.. so proud that this hotel still give chance to worker in their 40 to around 50 yo as front liners.. not like most hotel which most of their front liners are only around 20-30 yo.. i feel that those senior employees already have the soul to be part of this hotel.. 2. Classic, but so clean.. i am very surprised with every details such as the interior of restroom in front of merting venue.. also the room for stay.. even the bathroom has nice branded soap, conditioner, etc. There is also iron, iron table, safety box; and the blanket is soo soft + warm 🌸 3. So surprised to see that at late afternoon, a room service man knocked our room door, just to ask whether there is things to help.. 4. We got compliment with a glass of “apple juice drink” at check in point; and the staffs upgraded our room after knowing that the room i ordered from travel application is full Keep up the good work!

This is an old hotel by now. But you still cannot beat the yumminess of their various food, especially the breakfast and dinner selections. They have Japanese, Indonesian, and western food, and the menu is thoughtfullt planned -- not the same in everyday. I got a room with a view of Rasuna Said street, from which I can witness the brand new LRT tracks amd a little glimpse of sunset in the city. I like it there. Recommended.

I stayed first time at this place . I reached a bit early like 10 am . The staff said that the room was not ready but within 30 min they managed to give me a room and I could freshen up for my meetings . The staff is courteous the breakfast menu is great .they put in in red eleven a very high floor . Rooms are very good . I would stay again

Went here for a day meeting. All is standard, however the lunch is great. So many options, all the ones I tasted were great. Kudos for the chefs.

Come here for my cousins sangjit . The place is really big and the food is delicious . First time im eating a steak with rice The chicken mala also good And the desserts also delicious . The parking lot is in the basement so no worries they have lift so accsess for older and wheelcair people can enter here .

The service is excellent. For the red level lounge: thanks for the wonderful experience Dony and especially for Restafia (Resta), she is such a lovely person she went beyond our expectations when she brought and delivered the lost and found article all the way to Bogor City. Thanks also to Rozanah (receptionist) for being really helpful. Breakfast was amazing and very friendly personel. Pest management has to improve specially focusing on the rooms and the buffet section.

Great hotel for meeting and staycation. But for kids there is no playground or kids activities. The food is sooooo goooooooood. The resto frontliner for breakfast is not friendly, i forgot the name. No smile, no warm greetings. But the other one is good. And i would like to say thanks to bapak Widodo at pool area. He is so friendly and helpful, his service the guest well. 5 star for him. Please take good care of him Gran Melia 💖

We got an upgrade to a bigger room. Very nice gesture of the friendly staff. The Gran Melia is a very big & beautiful hotel, the lobby- reception and bar- restaurant looks very specious/awesome. The swimming pool is not big, but ok, it's very neat with a good towel service. Outside the swimming pool you smell the busy area of Jakarta.

A nice classic 5 star hotel that has been well kept but is a bit dark and empty now during the COVID-19 business restrictions. The breakfast buffet is good but not always available. The staff are very friendly and professional and the deluxe rooms are very spacious. There are many positive aspects of the hotel. It's classy, luxurious and has plenty of photogenic opportunities. As a hygiene benefit there were plenty of disinfectant hand dispensers throughout the hotel. The negative things I experienced were that I had to call room service to bring me standard bathroom personal accessories such as toothbrush and tissue. It would be nice if they were already there. And there wasn't a trash bin in the room.

Was here recently. Health protocol are implemented properly. Check in and check out process was fast. I love the interior of the hotel. The facade and hotel lobby is magnificent. The hallway and room also beautiful with classic style and atmosphere. The pool is amazing. The minus is the breakfast, the food need to be more varied. But overall the service is very good. I love it.

Great place, ambience and decoration. We visit the Tien Chao Restaurant for dimsum AYCE. Food taste quite great however, the service is not that good. Server took so long just to deliver the foods or other request. Our favourite would be the hakau-like-thingy with spinach (pocai) i forgot the name hehe. Not that good for AYCE dimsum as it took soooo long for the menu to arrive.

I just did my 10days quarantine at Gran Melia. I really appreciate how attentive and helpful the hotel staff are. During PCR also very organised we are able to check out the next day by 8am if our test negatif. The food are fresh. So overall staying at Gran Melia has been wonderful. Thank you for making my quarantine not a nightmare 😀😀.

Spacious room and modern style with nice view. Staff is friendly and helpful and the ballroom is usually use by government meeting. I give 4 star instead of 5 because i didnt like the bathroom especialy the closet since it was dry closet without any jetshower or automatic shower.

I had the chance to spend a night in this hotel and I loved it. Everything was just perfect and the staff was so nice and welcoming. The building is also unique in its own way! I hope to visit the hotel sometime again.

A luxurious & spacious room with complete facilities & toiletries. Love the jacuzzi a lot and the scent of the bath foam so much. The buffet was quite great with various food, though limited in beverages. Maybe because of the pandemic. My daughter loved the sushi at the utmost, she even doubled her order. The staffs were very hospitable. The lounge was a great design that brought a comfortable feeling for my daughter. It was a great experience to start my local stay in 2021.

TLDR: Overall experience was very nice. Definitely recommended! The room: We stayed at premium room, it nicely accommodates 2 adults and 1 older kid, due to sofa bed was provided in the room. Although the corridor show's that the hotel was already aged, the room was surprisingly clean and clear of mildew odor. Everything works in order, although i may say, it needs a modernization touch a bit. The only drawback was the drainage in the bathroom was not good enough to cater my kid playing in the bathtub, water tuns everywhere, fortunately we can cover that with spare towel The facilities: we only had the chance to go the pool, it had adult and kid pool. The adult pool was 1.5m/5ft deep, while the kid pool was only 0.7m/ 2.3ft. it was clean, and we had to reserve before visiting. The breakfast/ food: overal the food was good. They served various cuisine types. however, this also was the drawbacks. Too many varieties, but not all has the complete sets.

This is a great hotel. It on the center of the city, inside business district. The fitness, sauna, pool is so beautifully design. This hotel got all. Even a cafe that serves killer cappuccino. And the restaurant, it feels like you're taking a gourmet trip around the world. The rooms are spacious, and they even got ironing table inside one of the cabinet. I have a great experience here, suggesting you try this place also.

Visit the hotel for a wedding party in Jimbaran Ballroom. Loved the Christmas decoration at the lobby. The service was quick, attentive and warm. The food was quite tasty. Parking space was adequate in its second basement. Overall was an okay experience.

This hotel can easily be rated 4 or even 3, if one uses a fine tooth comb; however, the staff and their decisiveness to take a corrective action is what separates them from the rest of the pack. I stayed there during the world cup 2022 week, slept really well on the first 2 days, credit to the room service dinner that I ordered every night (which, especially the Indonesian cuisine, can be improved substantially), and the funny thing is the customer service, Januar, would call after every dinner to get a feedback on how the food was, to which I gladly obliged and told them the truth, about the taste, and in a mishap there was a plastic piece from the food container on my plate (which was not a big deal for me), but they offer to replace the food for free. Getting back to the room, on the 3rd day, there was a stay to my next door room (12-03), they would talk loudly until midnight, which can be heard clearly in my room (soundproofing improvement needed). Once the world cup match started at 1am, they would shout and clapped, do all these horrendous things. I finally called the guest service at 2am, since I still have to go to the office on the that day (and for the whole week). They did a check and confirmed it was that room, so they tried to calm the guest down to no avail, finally they did the next best thing which was to move me into a room with a quiet corner: It worked, no sound until morning. I was very pleased on their willingness to do so. Everything went well, except that in the new room at night from 8-10:30 pm, there would be children from the guests above running around on the room above me, which again created loud disturbance booming sound on my room, but fortunately, they would always stop at around 10:30 pm, which is my bedtime anyway, so no further intervention was needed. So here is my final score with 10 being the highest: Room: 8 Staff: 10 Food: 7 Hotel amenities and facilities: 9 Location : 9 PS: to those travellers/ guests that I mentioned, please be considerate of your surrounding and to those people that stay around you, they also need a good night's rest and sleep.

Held an office meeting here. Considering the invitees, we expected to hold a meeting in a proper and representative place. Gran Melia successfully met our expectations after comparing with some other hotels. Nice, friendly, and helpful staff, tons of choices of dinner menu with great taste.
