first impression: not bad but not good if it is for a 4-stars hotel. the price is middle range to low since it's in pandemic situation. designed to be a family getaway, I stay at a room with connecting doors to adjacent rooms. found bugs: tiny white spiders around the cupboard and red ants around the work desk (don't left your food unattended). found long hair strands here and there too. the bedsheet and covers were spots stained. either it's a very old stains or they don't use bleach as much as needed, or else. but the room were dusted very well, because I naturally will check for dust on surfaces. the room quite spacious with bath tub which is okay, but no doormat in the toilet/bath tub so I use one of the towel instead as marble floor might get slippery when wet. bed were okay, but pillow needs upgrade. the TV channels in the other hand, I believe it's just one movie channel and the other one were the hotel's ads. so probably just rely on personal phone(s) for entertainment. the central air conditioning is not that cold but acceptable if you close the windows's curtain to "block" the heat from outside during sunny day. looking around, found the refrigerator (not connected to electrical outlet/off state). came to my surprise, it so dirty that I resent myself to clean and use it. "just leave it there", I said to myself. the best part is location, close to coffee shop and fruits market (across the street using pedestrian bridge), hardware/spare parts in next door building (LTC). oh right, the room electrical control is manual so no card needed but the door access. don't forget to turn of unused appliances to save electricity when leaving the room.

It’s not that clean or visually pleasing. Not even close to other 4-star hotels. The bathroom is rusty and moldy and there’s obviously little care put into the maintenance of the room. Half the lights don’t work, and the fridge doesn’t work either. The corners of the beds are too pointy and you can’t help not bumping into them as the room is very small. There are no tissues provided in the room and very little toilet paper in the bathroom. I would never visit this hotel again.

This hotel has a fancy lobby that feels like a blast from the past. But when you move from there to the rooms, things change a bit. The rooms aren't as well taken care of. Some of the furniture looks really old and worn out. The trash bin is rusty, and the bath curtain has yellow stains. It seems like the rooms need a bit of fixing up. Despite this, there are good things too. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is nice, and the carpet on the floor looks good, although I'm not sure if it's clean. Sleeping alone in this old place can be a bit creepy. The sounds and echoes from the past make it feel spooky. In short, this hotel has both good and not-so-good parts. If you like the old-timey feel and can overlook some things that need fixing, it might be okay. But if you want everything to be perfect, you might want to check out other places.

Old fashion hotel, but it would be great if they maintain it and do some renovation, we did reservation for two people and the queen size bed, but we got the twin and the towel was just one. It will be great if they think more about the room and do a better service at the future

We booked double bed room so rush in the evening, got twinbed instead but its okay. Staffs very polite and nice. The room very old not quite like pics they put in agoda but its still fine. I personally dont like the blanket, it just thin blanket in 2 thin white clothes not in blanket case or something. When using, it will separate out piece by piece. Worse things is toilet drain pipe. In our second night the drain pipe become so smelly. Cant even stay long in toilet cuz of the smell. Around hotel have a lot of restaurants and malls, very convenient when u need something.

You can see the former glory this place once had. Overshadowed by the neglect from the management in keeping it together. Maybe it was the impact of the pandemic but nonetheless the hotel is just reflecting the same decline of the neighborhood surrounding it. The banquet halls however, due to it's vintage design, gives a festive vibe perfect for weddings and events. Because I love vintage places like these and the cheap price it now offers, I am giving a decent score despite all of the flaws. This place will not be for everyone though.

What in the world the management of this hotel is thinking that this place is so horrible. Everything about this place is bad. Very very bad-managed. Creepy aisle, creepy parking lot, creepy room, creepy lamps, dirty carpet. What I mean creepy is that lack of lighting. No words. Need more improvement. Just a terrible idea that this hotel still exists. Should have gone vanished maybe. Sorry not sorry.

The Jayakarta SP Hotel Jakarta. 4 stars rate Hotel in Jakarta. Let me share my own experience staying at this hotel - Booking: I've book this hotel via Agoda with good rate. For deluxe it's only around IDR500K for room only and IDR650K with breakfast for 2 guest. It is very competitive price, considering they are 4 stars Hotel, when others have rate above IDR 700K for room only - Location: It's located near LTC Glodok, in Jalan Labu. it just 1 minutes walk from main road and 5 minutes walk from nearest Transjakarta Halt, Olimo. or around 20 minutes from Gambir Station using taxi. Nearest station is Mangga Besar station, that only around 10 minutes using taxi or ojek, but only local train (KRL) was stopped there. Location is very strategic. So many food vendors nearby. - Car Park: They have their own park building. Please remember for request free parking stamp to Receptionist if you're Room Guest. The parking building was look very old, it's feel like you're entering Ro-Ro Ship or old mall. It's also quite dark there. Not very represent 4 stars hotel. And they don't have direct access to lobby from car park. You must use car ramp or use dark creepy stairs to go down. But anyway, the parking lot is very big with 5 levels, that guest only can use level 3 until 5. I hope you can find parking as low as possible. - Lobby, Receptionist, and Staff: Check in Process is very easy and quick. They staff also very helpful. The lobby even though feels old, it's very nice and tidy. When I come, the room still yet ready. So they ask us for waiting around 30 mins. While waiting, I ask for Mushola and suprisingly it's located quite far behind ballroom. And, the hallway is dark, cold, and very quite. - Room: We use elevator to go to our room, Their Mitsubishi elevator was very clean and look well maintenance. The hallway was dimly lit, like many others hotel, with carpets. Entering room using cards, and again, the room feels old. Even though it's quite clean, but their bed sheet, curtains, and room decor said it all. Again I said, it's not very represent 4 stars hotel room. We will starting from Pros from this room: It's very large room, their carpets also make this feels elegant. They also have bathtub and wet bathroom. I like it instead of dry bathroom. Room view is nice. Lighting is OK. Their compliments inc. hotel sandals 2 sets, 2 mineral bottle @300ml, 4 sugar, 1 tea, and 1 instant coffee, and bathroom amenities. They also provide us with 3 pillows. WiFi also working well. Their hot water also working well. Very Nice. Best things in this room, is their Sofa. It's very fluffy, comfy and relaxing Cons: Curtains, filtrase, bed sheet and linen is very very look old. It's clean enough, but it have so many spots. Their extra door lock is broken - idk it's broken or not used anymore, since the main lock is work well -. Their window lock also broken. TV's not very clear. I think they use outdoor antenna, instead of paid TV's cable. AC also won't made your room cold. I've set this in all maximum for temp and fan blade but still remain same. Their bed is quite hard, and the pillows also very thin, not very Hotel. Breakfast: Maybe it's because I came in high season, they can provide for buffet breakfast, so we can only get our breakfast in room. At first they misscommunicate between Room Service and Receptionist. Room Service only give us 1 breakfast because in their note we just only 1 person. After complaining they come again with fresh cooked breakfast. I think, no matter how much guest is in the room, the breakfast should be prepared for 2. Our breakfast in that time is Indonesian Fried Rice, with sunny side, and fried chicken. For drink they have sweet hot tea and guava juice. Thankfully it's very nice and delicious. Good Job! Conclusion: Management should have big action for refreshment. Renovation is a must. There's so many modern Hotel, and you also compete with rent apartment/house which can provide more attractive offer (instagramable, modern, etc) and you'll become budget Hotel if there's no something new in this Hotel. Cheers

Disaster hotel, very very old and not renovated, beds from wood and giving sound when you move so it's impossible to sleep, no coffee shop, no restaurants, only outside, not recommended at all, location is good near to many restaurants but low quality.

The service is good. The room is not well maintain, especially the toilet which not clean properly. The water leakage from roof in bathroom is not repair. Only one lamp available in the bathroom, which look gloomy. The water pipe also leakage. The room was equip with yellow colour lamp which make the room gloomy and not attractive. The aircond is not well function, which not produce demand cooling function. The room is not well ducted which smell the smoke from next door while they are smoking.

Desperately need a big renovation for this old hotel. Keep the vintage vibes but rejuvenate the furniture. With the prices is so worth it for pool and bathtub

don't hesitate if you want to stay here. At first I also thought this was an old, old hotel. but after staying the room was clean even though the curtains were a bit black when I opened them.. but overall this hotel is highly recommended for just a staycation with friendly staff The room is huge, The air conditioner is cold, and the bathroom also has hot water. There is a table that is large enough and suitable for work from home. They also provide Toiletries and coffee tea This hotel also provides a swimming pool on the 6th floor, but I didn't get to try it. the condition of the swimming pool maybe because it's been a long time and it's not very clean anymore.

It was a great hotel even the building is old. The room is comfy, clean and spacious. . Check-in was also easy and quick. The place have strategic location and near from minimarket. Hospitality still very nice. Staffs are polite and welcoming guest. They suggested me the nearest food for a non halal food and it was great. Recommended!

I like something about vintage. But not the broken ones. An old broken refrigerator, an old chair, an old broken lock door, over used towels and old broken lighting table were not well maintained. The staff seems only changed the bedsheet and clean the toilet. And the management seems not very aware about the hotel rooms. Many stuff need to be replaced. The window sheets were even dirty like they maybe rarely clean it. This is not 4 stars hotel from my personal thought... However the location is pretty strategic and friendly staffs

I stayed there when I was exploring mangga besar area. Overall good value for the amount of money paid. Staff were helpful and hospitable. They tried their best to accommodate. The room (executive deluxe) was more spacious than I expected. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is located in the busy Mangga besar area with plenty of food options and a mid-level shopping mall. What needs improvement are the room lighting and bathroom. Room lighting was insufficient at night, although it is quite bright in the morning because of large windows. The bathroom is made of nice marble stone, but it felt tired after many years of use. I felt this must have been a luxurious hotel in the past, but it may have been years since remodeling. Overall, very good value for they money spent.

Negative: 1. the parking is creepy 2. my AC room is broken so we change the room and still not cooled 3. flush on the toilet not worked (some of the rooms that I booked) 4. hotline hotel can't be reached so we can't pick rooms that we want. 5. if you want to check in with family, I suggest don't be here because so many people that are not 'good'. Positive: 1. For a couple I suggest you must try it 2. the swimming pool is so good 3. Good food

While staying here, pls remember how much (very cheap) you are paying; adjust your expectations, you will be fine. Location: fantastic for Kota, lots of dust & noise due to metro construction Building: old, looks not that good from outside, but interior is well maintained Room: spacious, well furnished, clean Toilet: smallish but ok, careful about steps in toilet Amenities: AC and fridge worked well, tv no good; tea/coffee, cattle, 2 small bottles of water daily; Pool: looked clean but didn’t try Housekeeping: a bit slow but courteous and did a good job Reception: very nice, checked me in at 11:45 Breakfast: didn’t try Will stay here if on budget and need to stay at Kota area

The location of the hotel is amazing: close to Gambir station, not too far from the airport, and walking distance from some of the touristic attractions in Jakarta. However, the hotel and service are in a bad state in my opinion. Checking in was a chaos: I arrived at 6.30 in the morning, I knew I couldnt check in but I just wanted to leavey bags so I could get breakfast before check in. After a lot of confusion, one of the receptionists told me I could check in at 12 after looking at my booking. I arrived at 12.45, and apparently my room was not finished: I had to wait for 3 more hours, unless I wanted to give up the bathtub that I booked with my room. So I decided on taking a room without bathtub. The room itself is big, and looks really nice. However, after travelling for 12 hours, I wanted to take a shower but the water was cold and I did not get a towel (had to wait for a couple of hours again). Apparently the hot water is only available between 5am and 7am, wow! The hotel and service is just lacking a lot compared to other similar hotels in the city and in Indonesia in general, and I would personally not recommend anyone going here...

NO MORE. dull sheets, couldn't sleep because of itching, broken furniture and very visible to the naked eye, old and damaged carpet in several parts, gloomy hallway, leaky sink when I just used it, hot water only morning and night at 5-8, smelly bathroom . Hard enough to spend the night here

βž• Hotel in a good location. βž• Staff friendly and helpful βž– Management absolute zero, it is necessary to think about the exchange. βž– For example on the Internet and in advertising offers a choice of Indonesia or Western menu. When I asked, was told it didn't exist. βž– Cockroaches in toilet, towels are almost black long time don't change. I have never encountered this in a 4-star hotel. This hotel is at the 2-star level.

Old fashioned hotel. The room is quite comfortable. There was no the mat in front of the bathroom. The phone wasn't working. I had to go to the lobby if wanted to ask something. The water was a little smelly. Breakfast was served quite late and I had to ask about it first to the receptionist. Not recommended.

The staff is friendly, However the food is garbage. I am here for quarantine 7 days & 6 nights. Paying for more than $100 a night, they serve me white rice and tofu twice, they change it after I complain. The room is old, TV is blurry. there is bugs like ants. I think once is enough.
