An already aging hotel. Overall still great hotel, very nice and spacious room. Good amenities, great bed and pillows. Really great foods, both in quality and varieties. You can't beat the variety of the foods here. Great service, too. The only downside is it is hard to find a place to charge your phone or devices by the bed. You need to charge them at the working desk. I guess it is an old design, and hope they can fix this little but important issue.

The room and room service was nice, Table8's food was also nice. One dissatisfaction is our breakfast experience at The Cafe. The Guest Relation lady told us that we are only allowed to eat for maximum one hour because that day the hotel is full. And the bad experience continue inside the dining table...the waiter take unfinished food from our table without asking even in front of us. The free breakfast package was a trap!

One of the well known local hotel chain in Indonesia. When people know you are hosting at Hotel Mulia, they would definitely come as the brand promise elegance, high quality and good service. Yesterday was a bit sad. Had our dinner at the Café, and the area was not as brightly lit as before the pandemic starts. Most parts of the restaurant area were a bit dark. The use of yellow light bulbs in some area was not really nice. The cut on some of the food were quite noticeable. Like you dont find fresh oysters anymore. Or as simple as selections of bread such as dinner rolls or one of those mini pretzel bread or sour dough, previously they would serve those along side some nice butter. Last night they only had garlic bread. Well hope things are getting better for them financially, the moment you cut on basic things then it wont be as lavish as before.

Best hotel ever. I have to say that I love the mattress, big blanket, the fragrant, the Koi fish pond, the sauna, the gym, the staff of the hotel, especially the breakfast buffet with plenty of style options from Korean, Japanese, Indonesia, Chinese to Western style. A full bar of fruit, bread and croissant then fresh original juice are always ready to serve. The staffs are also very well-trained, polite, proactive.

This is one of the hotels in Jakarta which has great options for food. They have several restaurants and all of them are good. My last visit to Edogin was superb. Good food, helpful staff and a great atmosphere.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights (4-7 Sep 2023) for an ASEAN Summit-related event. While I had high expectations for the hotel, the reality turned out to be quite disappointing. I encountered several issues with this hotel: 1. They had no iron, only a steamer. Despite my extensive travels and stays at countless hotels worldwide, this was my first encounter with a hotel lacking an iron. The housekeeper didn't explain that they had run out of irons; they simply said there were none. Consequently, I had no choice but to request a steamer be delivered to my room, intending to use it the following day, given my exhaustion upon arrival. 2. To my surprise, the same housekeeper returned at 6:30 am the next day, requesting the return of the steamer. I explained that I hadn't even had a chance to use it, but he insisted that the hotel typically only provides steamers for a 1-hour duration. This was a completely unexpected policy, as I've never encountered it anywhere else in the world. 3. From the very first day, they failed to provide a teaspoon. I had to request one the following day. 4. On the first day, the TV remote control didn't work, requiring me to contact the housekeeper. They then came to replace the batteries. 5. Here's the most significant disappointment: during breakfast, when I arrived at my table, the staff failed to offer me coffee or tea, despite doing so for all other guests (then I was curious how I was different with other guests?) To compound matters, there were no spoons or forks at my table, and I had to request them individually one by one.

I miss booked this place for around 9.3 mil via traveloka due to wrongly input the month October and November. I was kindly ask to cancel the wrongly booked so I can reschedule and book a new room with the new schedule. They force me to book the new schedule before be able to get my refund, otherwise I have to waste 9.3 mil without the possibility of cancel. Though there's a mistake on my end, Hotel management are rip offs and have no sense of humanity to resolve problem. I strongly don't recommend dealing with this hotel. Stay away at all cost.

Disappointed with the service. I'm understand that during COVID-19, we need to reduce the physical contact. However daily room service is needed to maintain the cleaning atmosphere.

Poor hospitality service, thin walls.. Room service more than 1 hours.. Front desk personnel is very slow... Want to reserve for dinner, but told to directly to the restaurant.. Asking for a late check out possibility, but told to ask again on the check out day... Surely not gonna come here again.. For the price, better to stay at Mandarin..

Amazing hotel located in Jakarta The Mulia is a very tall building with hundred of rooms. The room are very spacious, well decorated with nice view and very sunny. Few system show the old legacy of connected object through a main hub to control all lights. The bed is amazing and no doubt you will the best sleep of your life The bathroom is with bathtub and shower Rooms are quite well sound proof Regarding the services, the swimming pool is amazing with enough sun-beds around to enjoy it The gym is very spacious, well equipped, with boxing bag, treads mills, free weights and many assisted machines. Tennis court are as well available The breakfast is really into Asian and if you are looking for westerners breakfast this might not be the right place as only eggs will probably fit you. Waffles and pancakes are very dry. However food quality is very nice Regarding coffee for the breakfast no ice macchiato available which for luxury hotel is a bit strange as they usual are able to serve you anything especially for coffee / tea The staff is friendly and professional everywhere on the hotel

For me, Mulia is the best 5 star hotel in Jakarta. The most impressive thing is the breakfast buffet provide you with all you can eat fresh sashimi. I suggest you to try the noodle station and ask their chef to serve their secret sauce too.

Place is old but well maintain! Me saying old its not as old and smelly like Hilton Sultan or Borobudur, but still the hotel shows its age, needs a major upgrade soon. Food at The Cafe is grrat!

The hotel is very well-maintained and high standards as always. Room is very neat and tidy. Cleanliness and hygiene are at highest standard. Housekeeping is very attentive. The food tastes consistently good, though due to Pandemic some menu are not available. Will come again for sure, at least to visit The Cafe and Table 8

Staying here for a 10 day quarantine. Cost was 45m and not worth it. It’s definitely not a 5 star experience. The good: rooms are nice and spacious. Food is delicious. Laundry is on time. And water delivery. The bad: internet is awful and always drops. Prepare to hotspot. Food service is horrible. They didn’t deliver 2 meals when they know 2 people are staying in the room. They missed delivery of our lunch and dinner at times and we had to call to remind them. Food arrived cold sometimes and we asked them to heat it up but no one would come. Some of the dishes were still raw and a replacement came that was still raw. Then another replacement was requested and it never came. Go with another quarantine hotel

One of the best hotels in town with their luxurious and elegant vibe. They have very good and cozy beds, fast internet for work, clean carpets and very comfortable bathroom to relax and could not be happier with their strong shower. Apart from their great rooms, their food is one of the best out of the hotels in Jakarta that we have ever tried. Breakfast and dinner, they are all enjoyable for us for different types of occassions.

The hotel looks nice and has a spacious rooms. Even the slippers are very comfortable.. The room service menu is varied and delicious. In breakfast they have also a lot of varieties including sushi... It's location a bit away from city center, and you need 30-45 minutes to city center. There are two small shopping malls about 15 minutes walking distance or 10 minutes by car.

Great 5 stars hotel with amazing rooms and service. Rooms are very very confortable and spacious. Only downside is that it is very cold, and difficult to get it warmer. Service is great and very professional. The gym is very big with everything you need for a run or workouts. Very good location.

Stay in Executive room for 2 days, it was a great stay for me & husband. The room is clean, tidy, and I love how the bed cover feels so fluffy and warm, The service of the staffs are also indeed a 5 star class.. I also tried their afternoon & evening cocktail at Executive Lounge at 38th Floor, nice food & beverage there, and staffs are very friendly, specially MR. YANA for his warm welcome and great service of making sure that I have an enjoyable experience during my stay here. The housekeeping staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice, variative choices of menu, and enough to refuel before starting the day.

Top notch service - this was above and beyond my expectation even at 5-star hotel level. They actually checked on me in the room when when I forgot to switch off room privacy mode for close to 24hrs. They were very polite and professional, coming in pair and clearly identified themselves and why the knocking on door. When I encountered an incident in the room, Duty Manager came up within 10min with his team to check and investigate, again, very politely checking if he could enter the room with another colleague to check. I was swiftly given a new room close to mid-night - the staff was ready outside my room when I done packing to move to new room (and I had a little cake, quite yummy, surprise in my new room the next day) 👍🏻👍🏻 Upon checking out, I was surprised the Duty Manager came by and apologised for the incident. Amazing! Rooms were large and extremely comfortable. I tried cleaning/sanitising my room, but I could not see any dust on my wetwipes on every possible surface. No weird smell nor stains anywhere, bathroom was extremely clean. Around the hotel grounds, the staff always greeted us politely and I really felt very welcomed in Mulia. It is a grand looking place yet not those super old style kind of elegance. Hotel elevators move fast and I never had to wait for long. I enjoyed the buffet dinner and the staff were so attentive, by the 2nd and 3rd time I went, they remembered me and which item I have not tried. I love the desserts - coffee/ mango jelly in glass, matcha/ osmanthus/ coconut/ almond jellies. The staff behind counter happily showed me more variety though he had already packed them back fridge as they were closing soon. The grill and stir fry stations were excellent, and so was the lo mai gai (rice wrapped in leaf). If there is something to improve, it would be good to have more variety across the days for breakfast. To have different types of bread (that can go into toaster) though other pastry options are already plentiful. For cooked food would be good to serve potatoes in different forms each day. Shower toiletries are not from big brands but is good enough for use. Overall, it was a very safe and comfortable stay and the service was amazing.

The reception service is bad and not helpful, A lot of administration needs to be signed This hotel requires you leave 1 million IDR deposits, even though i had pay it forward using traveloka. The room is looks old, Amenities is minimum Bathroom only have 1 little bottle soap, shampoo and conditioner. I booked for 2 persons, but they only give one slippers and one toothbrush. Bathrobe was not given if you dont call the house keeping Room is quiet good but looks old, Hospitality not satisfying Overall, not expected for 5 stars hotel Hope this input will improve their service

I had high expectations with this hotel, but was disappointed especially compared to other 5 star hotels. Room: toilet water never stops flushing Service: Slow check-ins, slow lift. Been waiting for the lift for 10 mins to go down and still didn't get so had to take the stairs. Breakfast is only for 1 hour...

I went here just to attend meeting and spent half day on one of its conference room. The hotel building is very huge, and majestic. The entrance hall itself was kind as bis as any other major hall. The bulding style of the hotel is classic-luxury. Any one can directly tell the luxurious level of this hotel directly when seeing it by your eyes. The hotel is located in the central of Jakarta. It is near the sport complex, several malls, and golf course. However probably you won't find many local food sellers around here, as it is considered as elite area. I also had lunch at its The Cafe restaurant. It was one of the best dining experience for me. The foods were plentiful in types, western, local, and asian. The staffs were helpful and professional. Bottkm line, if money is not a problem, this hotel is recommended
