I stayed at Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection from 7th Dec - 10 Dec. I booked a deluxe room at Sari Pacific Jakarta, for 3 nights. I was charged 6,117,210 IDR under the impression that it’s a new hotel as indicated on Marriott website. I had a look at their Instagram profile, and the hotel appeared to be promising. The hotel lobby was great, but don’t be fool by it. I was given room 1405. However, I was shocked and disappointed by the room condition. The interior was very old and worn out, the lightings were dark and there was mold in the bed and cupboard. I thought I was in one of the 80s hotels. At about 3am of my second night, the room had a black out. The room was so dark that I couldn’t see anything. Thankfully, my phone was not too far away, and I was able to reach it for the torch. Then, I heard water leakage outside the room. The room was located next to a water piping room, which had a broken pipe and caused the leak, and probably caused the blackout. I brought this to the attention of the front office. The receptionist was nice enough to apologise profusely, but failed to offer me an upgrade initially. I was offered another room on the same floor 1426, which I rejected given the ordeal that I went through. Eventually, I was given another room – 818 (which is one of the newly relocated rooms), but it was almost 4am and it’s just a few hours before my interview – the sole reason why I was in Jakarta. It was a waste of my time, energy, and it certainly left me in a bad state. For what I had experienced, the hotel is at most a 3-star hotel, but no way a 130 USD-per-night hotel in Jakarta. If I had been shown the video / photos of actual condition of the hotel (level 14) before I made my reservation, I would not have proceeded with it. One might even call it a fraud. Make sure you check with the front office which room you are given, make sure to get the renovated rooms instead of the old ones.

Just added to the Marriott inventory as an Autograph Collection Hotel. Stayed before when it was the Pan Pacific. Its a really good location for first timers who want to be in Central Jakarta. Its nearby to Grand Indonesia and Sarinah Mall. Hotel has a lobby bar, breakfast restaurant and a delicatessen. Gym is OK, but located separate from the main building. The Executive Lounge looks almost the same as before, with superficial renovations done after the Marriott crossover, even the furniture is the same.. Little has changed with the grand lobby. Staff is helpful, but very distracted. Didn't send my luggage up for more than an hour, until I offered to bring it up myself. But they are polite and welcoming. The pool is small. Breakfast is average for an Asian hotel. Take note some of the hotel rooms still have not been renovated when I was there at end Nov 22,so you may end up with an older room that has the blue Pan Pac carpets and furniture. Easy to get food nearby, and I'd definitely recommend Sarinah Mall for its quirky local designer goods. Take note however, each time a car comes into the hotel, there is a IDR5000 charge, even if its a pickup or DropOff which sounds ridiculous. Its not alot, but please don't argue with taxis/cars if they ask you to pay for it.

Stay in Sari Pacific Jakarta during my work trip. Currently, Sari Pacific Hotel is under the Marriott hotel group. I was given one of the newly renovated room after checking in at the hotel around 3pm. The service was very fast and I was given my hotel room in just a short moment after they checked my passport and booking. For a 5 stars hotel, the price was very affordable. The newly renovated room was also very spacious, comfortable and clean.

The fabulous staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable and carefree as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was comforting to know I was in such capable hands. I’m disabled and I struggle with even the most basic of tasks. But the guys were great especially a young lady named Tire who watched over me like a sister/mother/friend.

About a week prior, stayed here and had a pleasant time. So I book for two night stay for business trip. Check in at night. Morning after went to work at 9 am, expecting my room to be nice and tidy after a hard day work, it was about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, room never cleaned when I was away. Was to tired to wait for it to be cleaned, and I just call for towel change. For a 4 stars hotel expect it to be better than this, hope they can fix this forward. Other than that everything was great.

Would have loved nothing more than to give this property 5 stars. The location is great. The staff are excellent. But the property is undergoing extensive renovations which, when complete, will make it among the top properties in the area. Sadly, until then, best to avoid. Basic services like hot showers cannot be guaranteed. Otherwise, unrenovated rooms, while tired, have a distinct charm and are very comfortable. The location is great. The staff are superb but despite their best efforts and responsiveness, when basics like hot water showers are not available, they’re simply unavailable. Even assurances from guest services and engineering staff that hot water issues would be resolved are unreliable. Changing rooms did not solve the people indicating that the issues are far more structural impacting many/most/all rooms.

Major renovation on going and hotel management doesn’t do enough to hide it. No hot water during 11am-3pm due to water pipe works. Lights in the room (newly renovated one) don’t work properly. One doesn’t turn on. Another doesn’t turn off. Stains on couch and chair and wallpaper cracks are seen. Bath towels are tired looking. Room slippers are thin. Blankets (not duvets) are extremely thin. Breakfast is quantity over quality and western options are limited as 98% of the guests are local. I was woken up by the chanting from a nearby mosque at 4am on both nights which lasted for over half an hour. I’m afraid there are too many disappointments even with the newly renovated Grand Deluxe room for this to deserve to be even an Autograph Collection property. The hotel offered a far from relaxing stay. At the end, I was more than ready to leave.

I'd say this hotel have had its fair share of fame 15-20years ago when the Sarinah Thamrin was the it place in Central &Jakarta. I remember to attend an event in December 2003, when they were still called Sari Pan Pasific Jakarta. Prime location, easy access of public transport and in walking distance to shopping malls and also the icon of the city. Now that they tried to make a comback by joining Bonvoy is truly a step forward in facing the millenia. Currently (16Sep23) the lobby of the hotel is still a hot mess. You can still feel that old-local-traditional hotel vibe. They dont have proper parking lot too. This needs to be fixed ASAP if they wanted to host more guest and big banquety events. I noticed some floors have already been renovated. The tiling and lighting looks really nice. While the one that I went-16th floor, it was still using carpet, clean though. But, when I entered the room it is still the old version I believe. You can smell a kind of nicotin hint and a wet damp carpety smell too. But you'll get used to if after a while. The AC needs some more work as it is not as cold as to my liking. My view, the room was clean but felt dated. The executive lounge was one of the spot in the hotel that would bring back some reminesence of Jakarta hip nightlife. The décor was quite dated. The arrangement was a bit strange. The food spread was dissapointing. Lack of attention I'd say. Food quantity felt so little. As soon as they put the food on display in no time it's already finished. No one manning the food arrangement too. But I know that the two ladies in the executive lounge were really trying to do their best. They were really friendly and attentive with guest. They need more help for sure. The food taste was quite good. I didnt go to the pool but I can see it from the room. No changes nor update there, just a basic rectangular pool with small waterfall at one of the corner. I would really like to comeback to this hotel again once they have completed their renovation. Looking forward to. Latest visit, 17Jan'24. Had the chance to see their Grand Deluxe Room and I must say it was looking lovely. The décor was just nice. Another impressive element would be their new Delicatessen down at the ground floor. It has bottom to roof glass panels which equipped with automatic shades. So during bright day light they could cover a bit of the roof so that it won't be too hot while on a rainy day, they could open it so the ambiance would feel nicer. One last section that I saw was their Karaoke room. Looking stylish and posh!. Great for private event. Can't wait to see the result of their full renovation, which they said would be around Mid 2025.

My experience at the hotel was not pleasant! Shower was broken so I had to spend one day without shower. Room is very old and filthy. It has mold. See pictures attached. My request to checkout at 2:00 PM was declined unless I pay certain charge. I do not recommend this place. There are plenty of nicer and newer hotels in the same area.

Rooms : smell old and bed was very hard, pillow too soft. Service : very bad especially Front Office. Location : supposed to be good but if you had a room facing to Thamrin Street, definitely you can't sleep as the room not sound proof and night till morning you can clearly heard "illegal racing" on Thamrin Street.

I'm sure after the renovations are complete, the rooms will be much better. My room smelled a bit like mildew, and the shower didn't drain well. The bed was comfortable, so 3 stars instead of 2 on the room.

    1. Very strategic location in the middle of Jakarta (culinary area of sabang and a place to shop for sarinah) 2. The hotel staff are very pleasant and friendly 3. The interior of the room is clean, neatly arranged and the room is very spacious

Stayed in Grand Deluxe for one night and it was an amazing experience. The room is new, clean, and has a great front view with a warm ambience. Check in was smooth, i immediately got my room although i requested for an early check in at 1pm. The food was tasty. Overall, good service especially during the pandemic. Well done. Will definitely come back😄

I once stayed here on July 2023. There's no standby-bellboy also the telephone operator is quite busy to pick up calls. One their receptionist (a man with glasses) and most of the restaurant crew seems like need more lessons about hospitality. Then, I revisit this hotel on Oct 2023, and quite impressed about how they developed. The crew is all nice and helpful. Wish the renovation is done soon so that this hotel can be more comfortable. Overall its a nice place to stay and have a strategic location. 😊😊

The hotel is in the middle of upgrade. Our junior suite is still outdated. Swimming pool access is like an escape room puzzle. You can catch a glimpse of future updates in the lobby (which is going to be awesome). But for now it’s just a simple stay in a strategic location.

The hotel is under major renovation. Avoid it until the renovation is complete. The breakfast is very average. The city facing rooms are not sound proof at all. You will have a hard time having good night's sleep

Great place for business trip, since it so close with business and government office district. Loved the spacious room and the ultra big smart tv. But for a hotel with rates over IDR 1 million, the services you got is so so, the bathroom doesn't resemble a 4 star hotel. It still got an aura of old era hotel. If i searched a hotel for my vacation in Jakarta in the area, i certainly will skip this hotel.

I chose Sari Pacific for my mandatory quarantine hotel and it was not the most pleasant experience.....the room was dirty and dusty...i needed to take out my own curtain because it was too dusty and I could not breath properly as I am alergic to dust. The bath tub was dirty as well and when I tried to clean it before using it, it just peeled off. The staff was nice but not exactly accommodating, when I asked for something like water, it took a while for me to actually get it.

The Hotel locate in very strategic place, near the MRT station, Bus Way terminal, Big Mall, sabang food street and many big office tower. The breakfast is quite good. During my time stay, the hotel having such big renovation. And room is limited. I also got their old room/pre renovation. The TV is big but the room it's old, but still good. Also the alley on my floor is old design but still well maintain.

Stayed here twice for work trip. I booked Grand Deluxe to get renovated room (based on review deluxe room is old room). Service was great, front desk was very friendly, i has some trouble with hot water and they come to check right away. Staff at breakfast area were asp very helpful and friendly. Food and coffee quality can be improved though. Lobby was under renovation in my last visit end of August(this was not the case in Feb the first time i stayed). Hope they finished the renovation soon!

Very nice hotel! We liked everything - especially the warmhearted and welcoming greating by Mr. Haris, who picked up our luggage. He seems to speak several languages fluently - really amazing!

Still under the renovation but the hotel guarantees comfort to it's guest. It still surely has it's classic luxurious touches despite being under renovation. Their giant TV in room really awesome, helping enough to get rid of the feeling of an old hotel😃

I am a Marriott Titanium member and visit Marriott properties all around the world 200+ nights every year. I can honestly say that Sari Pacific is one of my favorite Marriott properties - Me and my wife has been coming to Sari Pacific for at least 5 stays each year for the past 2-3 years and the service and care from the staff is simply superb from every single staff member. Haris always greets us upon arrival, check-in and checkout - and has even brought food to our room on several occasions. Reception staff such as Cindy are always warm and welcoming (Apologies - I cannot remember all staff members names but everyone is so welcoming). Lounge staff always goes the extra mile for us, room cleaning is always top notch and the food and general service, as well as the amentities in this hotel, it just perfect It genuinely feels like coming 'home' when staying at the Sari Pacific and we never consider any other hotels when travelling to Jakarta. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Sari Pacific family for always making us feel so welcome and appreciated. -Marius & Ros

Sari Pacific Hotel, recently taken under the Marriott brand, is one that’s undergoing a whole lot of renovation - I was impressed by the quality of the new rooms in the new wing and once the whole hotel is fully set-up, it will be really impressive! The service, needless to say, was brilliant just as the Indonesian people always are. Location is right in the smack of Thamrin so it’s convenient to get to from the airport. It’s also not very costly for a 5* hotel in Jakarta so I’d recommend this for anyone looking for value.

My parents stayed here for my wedding. This hotel now belongs to Marriott group. The location is in the center of center of Jakarta, which is second to none. The receptionist service is great and helped my parents free upgrade to a suite room. The newly renovated luxury deluxe room which my friends booked is top-notch. Overall, very satisfied with this historical hotel!!

Went here on 2021 after coming back from overseas travel for 10 days quarantine. Room was spacious but not utility was not so functional in my opinion. This surely happened during covid and for sure I didn't get the newly renovated room. For food itself, I had better experience even with less known hotels. The only perks during the 10 days quarantine is the giant window facing the main street. Hopefully things are improving

Thanks to Haris- manager who helped us with luggage it was nice that he knew some words in Russian. Every person in the hotel was kind and was ready to help.

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights from August 26th to 28th. It seems like it's just been included in the Marriott family, so I didn't have much information, and I was a little hesitant to hear that it was under construction. Advantages Kindness of all staff When we inquired about small information by e-mail before our stay, the response was quick, and during check-in, GRO, Ms Sindy Praishellar, recognized us, greeted us brightly, and took us to the lounge to wait until the room was ready. I was a gold member at check-in, but it was nice to feel more welcome because I was provided with a lounge during my stay. The lounge staff were also very friendly. In any hotel, the lounge staff are friendly, but here it was more friendly. We had a great time especially thanks to Mr Robby, Ms Cahya and Ms Frida. Sitting in a quiet lounge on the weekend, drinking coffee and reading a book was a great break for me. The concierge staff were also very kind. When I asked for directions to Sarina Department Store to go for a walk in the evening, they walked out of the hotel lobby and kindly gave directions. I've been to several 5-star places in Jakarta, but this kind of warm hospitality was the first time. Even the housekeeping staff were kind. So impressed Usually, when we run into each other in the hallway, we greet each other lightly, but they smiled brightly and greeted us together, and when we asked for what we needed, they handled it well. I want their bosses to know that everyone on the 6th floor is so kind. When checking out, the staff asked if there were any problems with the room. So I said that it was a bit difficult to adjust the hot water when I showered. The staff checked right away, apologized, and was provided with a very large, thick cookie the size of the palm of your hand. It was even delicious.. Food Lounge The composition that can be eaten as a main menu such as sushi rolls, smoked salmon, roast beef, and chicken during happy hour or breakfast is very rich and the seasoning is not too strong, so I ate it deliciously. And the bread and cakes are delicious. I especially recommend the scones from afternoon tea time and the cakes from happy hour. At breakfast, If you order menu items such as omelets and soto, and the staff brings them to you from the kitchen. Overall the food was satisfactory. The Japanese It's a Japanese restaurant located in the lobby, and it only serves AYCE on weekend lunches, but if you really like seafood, you should definitely go here. 490,000 ++ and Marriott members get a 15% discount. Disadvantage Under construction The lobby and rooms are still under construction, and the swimming pool and gym are not yet under construction. During check-in, I was told that there could be construction noise, and there was a little noise when I entered the room (Room 603). However, the noise didn't last and I couldn't hear it from the pool or lounge. According to the staff, the construction is expected to be completed in 2025. Swimming pool It is old because it is before construction, and there are some floating objects in the water. And the depth is very deep (2.8 m) However, I am satisfied because I had a good experience at the hotel enough to take into account all the shortcomings. While living in Indonesia, I stayed at several places as a Marriott member (Westin, Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Le Méridien, Renaissance, etc.), but this is the first place where all the staff are professional and provide high-quality service. If I have a chance to stay at a hotel in Jakarta in the future, I will go to this hotel again. I don't think it's going to be a problem under construction.

Hotel is undergoing renovation but they have managed things well, what I like about the place is staff they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They do the best I want to mention Friday and Senja they did there best to accommodate us in executive lounge. What I don’t like about hotel is that there is noise of construction and in my room the AC did not work properly but they were kind enough to give me another room which was nice. The location is exceptional ! Breakfast is average but staff does best efforts to keep things in orders I would stay here again and hopefully renovation gets over soon.

I stayed in a pacific room with executive lounge access, which was well worth the extra spend. This is a grand hotel but now quite old. Renovations are in progress and the renovated parts are very nice. The staff overall were excellent and in particular Senja and Clara in the Pacific Lounge really looked after me.

The good old hotel is rising back! This is my first time staying at Sari Pacific to celebrate my wife's birthday. I stayed for 1 night in a newly renovated room (Grand Deluxe), which gave me a pleasant experience. The room is clean, with no smelly odor, well decorated interior with new vibes, and a warm, new, and nice carpet in the bedding area (still ceramic in the foyer area), though there's still a bit of a touch of old-time such as the old bathroom door and bed divan. The facilities and amenities are great: breakfast buffet menu are great (I love beef bacon for bf!), Nespresso coffee machine, King Koil bed, handphone wireless charging, wifi no password, iron. What I love the most is the excellent services as the staff are friendly and helpful. 1 hour after check-in, they will call you to confirm whether the room and amenities are OK (I asked for extra shower gels, a laundry bag, and some sanitary bags). Prior to check-in, I asked the staff to provide a birthday card but instead, they provided a handwritten message in the mirror, a birthday card, a slice of birthday cake, and an assortment of fruit! Things that I think can add more value for this 5 stars hotel - bathroom: add bath tub handle for more safety, fix clogged drainages, add towel hang - access to swimming pool and gym is confusing - turn ON AC on lobby Also, this hotel is on her way to serve world class and delightful experience, so please expect construction noise and dust while you stay.

We did our 7 night quarantine at Sari Pacific. The staff were very helpful and responsive. The internet was fast. The food was great. We had a spacious junior suite-like (pacific) room for a much cheaper price than those at five star hotels. Highly recommended hotel. Edit: Its really important for us to have a broad selection of menu as we cannot have food from outside. My wife has special diet and intolerance and all of the staff were able to accomodate very nicely.

4 star hotel, but the vibes feels likes 5 star hotel. Since they have the newest design for the Grand Deluxe Room. The room so comforteble with a king size, bathub, coffe maker, bathrobe, and hair dryer in it. They food for breakfast also awesome! My baby love their mashed potato. I booked this hotel via Traveloka and got 850K/night. Overall this hotel is worth to try!

We got our room at the 7th floor. I think this is a redesigned floor because it looks new and very impressive. Our room was disinfected once more when we checked in, room keys were sprayed with disinfectant before handed over to us. All protocols were conducted perfectly.

I was in for quarantine of course not expecting much. But it was really bad first the breakfast was never according to the order given, for the Indian food such as rice or chapati which weren't available most of the time. Overall I had a major problem for food and the rest was good. Good food is kinda a very important part of an hotel so I expected far better from a 5 star hotel. Hope to see it improve

Fortunately I chose the Pacific room with separated living room and dining table. Plenty of space for me and my spouse. Food portion during quarantine was more than sufficient and more important the taste was delicious. We can also dine according to our preferred time. Room service such as Laundry and anything else we asked, was excellent. Waiting time was quite short.

stayed in grand deluxe for 2 nights. Pro: good interior design, good food.. good hospitality, good price ❤️ keep up the good work! if u need a hotel for stay & the food… it would be best value, rather than stay in other 5 stars hotel. overall i had pleasant stay. cons: the hotel is still under interior renovation so they moved the spa room, but i still heard the construction noise. it would be nice if they mitigate with sound insulation. the minus is the public toilet & locker in the gym is quite dirty

It’s been a while since the last time I stay at Sari Pacific Hotel. I expected excellent service from the minute I got into the hotel, but turned out the hotel was in renovation, and lack of staff so the services are a bit delayed, plus there was an event at the hotel so I understand that its hard to fulfill every guests needs. I asked for extra toiletries that never came, but at night when I asked for dining set they came after 30 minutes which is still tolerable. Overall the experience was still good, but I expect more for my next stay.

The worst part about staying in your hotel is the fact that we have to park in the next building where the elevator was broken (had to climb a lot of stairs) and the connecting door was closed at 7PM. We had to walk through pouring rain to get from the parking spot to the hotel. Knowing your very limited parking area, you should have provided valet parking to accommodate your guests. The room was also dated and the carpet has mildew on it. We were also told to wait for half an hour for one of the two rooms to be ready, which is ridiculous because we checked in at 6PM! And the night before we checked out, there were letters distributed saying late checkout is not possible, despite the fact that you made us wait during check in. What type of hospitality is this?

Staff are friendly. Fast response Lobby looks nice even though some construction work still ongoing. My room not cleaned properly. Takes more than 5 minutes to get a hot water in the bathroom. During breakfast, may be because lack of staff, a bit chaos. Overall is good, need more attention from the Management while hotel is full.

It was a very pleasant stay at Sari Pan Pacific, the breakfast was okay. Because we got a refurnished room so the room was nice also. The location is great, near from Sarinah, Sabang street and a walking distance to Grand Indonesia. The room price is also good. Good job, sure will be back again soon.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. In my case, I even had a health issue and needed to go to the hospital by night. The hotel staff took care of bringing me there. Specifically, I was brought there by Cecep, who helped me a lot and was extremely friendly. I absolutely recommend this hotel to everybody. A very nice experience

I stayed 5 nights. It was comfortable, but there were some concerns. ・It took a long time for hot water to come out. ・I ran out of tissues and didn't have spares. ・It took two nights to notice the bottom drawer of the refrigerator.

I would say my time at Sari Pacific was great! The services were amazing, health protocol was great, all facility were on my expectation. Even the in room breakfast also great. The swimming pool was the highlight since the depth was 2m+ and had pleasant surrounding. Big Smart TV was also the main highlight, I could watched Netflix on it, even from the shower. That's surprising! There were some downside on clock/wireless charging device, yet it was handled. I would love to have second stay at Sari Pacific sometime in the future. Thank you, Sari Pacific Team!
