At first the room looked completely fine. Maybe a little old and some parts could have aged better. Then after returning to my room at night, there were some small cockroaches near the "mini bar" area. Got moved to another room on a different floor, which looked nicer and definitely aged better than the previous one. Was still inspecting the new room with the housekeeping team and found another cockroach there. Got moved again to the third room. I was planning to change hotel in the middle of the night but luckily there weren't any cockroaches in the last room as I was too tired after a long flight. A very disappointing experience of what could be a great one.

Stay here for two nights. I recommend to book the room using apps (I used Agoda), the price is a lot cheaper. The hotel is quite old, but it seems well maintained hence in general the facility still good Bedroom. Quite clean, spacious, the facility all good. The amneties are complete. I love that it has bathtub, so you can enjoy relaxing sinking in the warm water. Room service available 24 hours, if you wanna order some foods/drinks, it’s very convinient. I extended the stay, I left first at midday to have lunch, at 1 pm the room was not cleaned yet. That’s what I didn’t like. Gym Quite amazed that the equipment inside is variative and quite complete. I think it’s open for public membership as well. They provide drinking water, towel, lockers, sauna. It’s nice Swimming pool Located in the same floor with gym (5th floor). You don’t need to bring towel from your room, ‘cause they provide it there. The pool is spacious as well, it has artificial waterfall as well. It’s quite relaxing swimming and spending time here. Restaurant They have it in the fifth floor as well. I didn’t try it. Couldn’t review much Breakfast I book the room without the breakfast on purpose because I don’t eat a lot for breakfast or not having breakfast at all. If you change your mind and wanna have breakfast there, it’s not that expensive for buffet or plan-meal. In general, it’s worth it to stay here, must be fun with family as well. Ah been a long time not review this long

The check-in process was quick & efficient. Parking is included, but must register the vehicle, or else expected to pay even just to drop off at the lobby. The room itself was quite hot, after cranking the A/C up and waited for 1 hour, the room was still hot. Called the front desk & after 1 hour of waiting, no one came to supposedly fix the A/C. After a trip to the front desk, the A/C Tech was promptly waiting by the room to fix accordingly. A second room was assigned in replacement it was somewhat cooler, so I settled. Considering this is a "4 star" hotel, the carpeting was not very clean & the shower curtain hadn't been replaced in a little while. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, however, I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here due to the Air Conditioning issues, dated facility, dirty carpeting, & moldy shower curtain.

stayed for 1 night in this hotel. Requested non smoking room, but upon entering the room, the smell was all cigarette smell. The room itself is all very old, and AC is not cold. Not recommended.

If you need a specific requirement for your room reservations, they will help you especially if you reserve by phone calls. Last time we go there, they weren't able to complete our requests buy they compensate us by gifting us little teddy bears (which is very nice thing to do even though it's okay if they can't complete it because it is a busy weekend). The rooms though, I think it is because the rooms were the smoking one so they kind of reeks of tabacco smells. Also the breakfast has not many options to choose, and on top of that when I go there some of them already out of stock. But they do have a free and nice gym for you to work out.

Overall the hotel accomodation was good. But unfortunately the meals doesn't meet my expectation for a hotel in a big city. Only the egg corner that meet my expectation for taste. the meeting room facilities was good enough although the AC not as cool as expected. thank you for staff kindness and warm greetings.

The first time I went to this hotel was to attend a meeting or graduation ceremony... Got room 2109 which was clean and comfortable.. cold ac and complete bathroom equipment.. very satisfied because I got the room as ordered like on the top floor.. twin bed room.. no smoking and very quiet and many TV channels from abroad... The hotel is very strategically located.. close to office areas.. entertainment and culinary.. maximum service from staff who do describe star hotel servants... Various facilities starting restaurant.. gym.. swimming pool.. massage.. etc... When checking out the front office staff gives greetings and asks about the satisfaction of staying at this hotel ... A pleasant and comfortable stay... hopefully one day I can return to vacation stay at this hotel again...

Nice hotel, good hospitality, in the middle of the crowd, But has worst parking space, to narrow for big vehicles.

First the location is near a mall.Malls opens at 10am Breakfast are good with wide variety if food to choose from. Lobby is clean and staffs are accommodating Rooms that we had were a bit old. Restrooms have molds and a bit dirty during our visit. But they do have new renovated rooms as mentioned by a supplier that we visited. Grab is available but you need to pay parking if they will pick u up in the lobby area thats around 5000IDR.

The hotel is conveniently situated not far from the city center. I was fortunate to have my room upgraded from a superior to a junior suite. The staff members are genuinely nice and accommodating. The room itself is spacious, equipped with both a shower and a bathtub in the bathroom. However, it's worth noting that the building has a somewhat aged infrastructure, and there is a noticeable old building scent in certain areas.

Room is clean and carpet looks dirty. Gym is great with many equipments. Everytime i came to the hotel while i stay there using grab or gocar, hotel charge for parking even only drop passenger.

Depend on how much you pay, the rooms and the service are quite good. Keep in mind that this hotel has been here for a long time, so the building is quite old and it doesn't look that extravagant. But everything is nice.

Quite good with reasonable price. I rent the room for a bridal shower party for my friend. They gave us two single beds, they also provide a bathtub and they also have connecting door. Oh, the lack is we had to queue only for check in.

Menara peninsula is an old hotel and i heard a girl crying inside my bathroom at night. And when i have a bath, i saw a shadow inside the bathroom. It was a freaky night but the service was good.

Well when you ordered dinner in their restaurant, please ensure you ask the beverage price before you made an order. The food's price is cheaper than the beverage. By mean beverage for me was a glass of ice tea that cost you at IDR 90,000 ++ whilst the food (fried rice) was only @ IDR 25,000++. The menu only listed food price not the beverage. So go figure..

The AC is not cool at all even after changing room for 3 times, my room feels hot. The AC issue is on the whole building as it is central AC, I changed 2 room on 21th floor & 1 room on 14th floor and all the AC are hopeless good side is the staff give me free room upgrade on my 3rd time changing room, hot water is good, considering that I gave 3 star for this 4 star hotel

Went to Menara Peninsula yesterday, tbh we had a good time there. But sadly, at 6pm when we were about to go out to get something to buy, in the gate the parking-man said that we must pay 25k for parking charge, meanwhile our car’s license plat had been registered when we were check in that day, we had no idea what was going on back then. So afterward we came to the reception to ask them like “why do we have to pay the parking charge that we knew that it supposed to be free of charge ?” The reception man said “sorry sir we were mistaken that when we registered you’re car’s license plate, the letter G were trade to number 6”. Really ? Is that really possible to happen ? Who knows then.

Older hotel, clean room, smell nice. Good view of the city. Plenty of food delivery options. Close to nasi goreng kebon sirih via jati baru (u turn under the flyover on the right side of the hotel.) Younger front desk is very professional and speedy. Other front desk staff really slow, cannot help with reserving room via phone when we need several room close by, they probably should keep up with the standard. Probably the best otin elevator, very fast, no noise, even newer pullman Bandung use faulty annoying elevator.

The rooms were good but there is a lot of room for improvement in the food department. There are holding charges for the room at check-in which I believe is not necessary if not informed when booking online. It was 3 star experience in a 4 star hotel overall.

Not vood experience. Food was bad, cold, tasteless, no variety. Stay for 2 nights and all the food at breakfast were almost the same. Need variety and creativity. Service at breakfast were terrible. All tables were dirty and hard to find seats. Manager are present however he seems not aware of the problem when he sees people are standing and looking around. Just completely ignorant. All the others were the same confused as he is. Order scrambled eggs and we get omelette instead, after 30 minutes of waiting. The only friendly people are the concierge and front office staff. Need more training. Room were also smelly and AC were very Hot. We cant sleep all night. Just want to get out of here!!!!

Long queue of check in and not effective, swimming pool staff is not friendly, came back to the swimming pool but it closed earlier (7pm and it's literally saturday night while in the room service menu it said closed at 9pm), the extra bed is so expensive u could just pay for extra room, THE WORST THING IS THE BREAKFAST TIME ENDED AT 9 AM WHILE THE OTHER 4 STARS HOTEL USUALLY ENDED AT 10 AM and the staff wont even response to my mother's question, at least they couldve said something nice

The BAD: The hotel itself is located right at a crossroads. The noise levels are horrendous in the day, even 17 floors up and almost as bad at night, basically the 'hum' off the traffic below never stops, just varying levels of intensity. I stayed in room 2017 - A twin room. The room is dated and the bathroom smelt horrid at certain times of the day. The window had a latch on it with the screws falling out. All of the electrical points bar 1 were located under the table so had to lie on the floor to use the phone if need whilst charging. However, the carpet looked a right state so I would not recommend doing this. There were little crawlies in the bathroom which I had to kill every day! The Not So Bad: The staff on the whole were very good and welcoming, though for 1 waitress in the morning, smiling seemed to be the last thing on her mind ?! I arrived early to book-in and the receptionist told me "to wait for about 1 hour and my room should be ready for me?" I went for a walk and upon my return I was allowed to book in and go to my room. I was in my room by 10:30am when I should not have booked in until 14:00pm. I was very grateful to them after such a long flight. I could not thank her enough. The breakfasts were perfectly fine, even for a westerner. Would I go back? Yes! Though I would make sure it was not room 2017

To my surprise that Menara Peninsula has changed a lot. The room is very out-dated, crack on the wall and bathroom, it seems no maintenance at all. Power point's broken. Old TV. Bed is good. The hotel was very quiet, we only met few people. Disappointed with the breakfast, very average and not represent 4 stars hotel buffet breakfast.

  • 5/5 Kristian T. 1 year ago on Google
The room was nice. it feels homey and has a lot of space to put your things. However, the shower and bathtub are styled to be one so be careful not to slip when you take a bath.

Bad service from the first! Just booked from agoda and receive booking confirmation by email, then I call the hotel to double check the booking by mention my name but hotel staff didn’t receive my booking yet, but I ask to the hotel staff to call me back when they receive my booking but they didn’t calls me yet. So I ask for refund from agoda. Untill they ask me to give review after the stay-date was over. So The Hotel was wrong not cfm that they already receive my booking!! Bad service😭

Good service. The building is quite old but it’s clean and spacious. They need to put more power outlets. You need to crawl under the desk to charge your phone/laptop. The breakfast can be better.
