This hotel is the absolute worst. The tap water was completely yellow when turned to hot water. When i informed the staff, they told me they knew about the problem as it was happening in a lot of the rooms and recommended taking a cold shower. I dont understand why they didn't inform me about the problem before i checked in. If i knew about the problem i would have not checked in. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

I had a great quarantine stay there! It was so good I decided to extend one more night 😂 Bed was super comfortable, room was clean and spacious, and the service was excellent! I am intolerant to onions and although it was hard to avoid, they really tried their best to accommodate. Just need to make sure you check each time. The staff were all super apologetic after the first boo boo but they were very detailed in checking after which I really appreciated. Really grateful for friendly and really helpful staff, from the reception to the bellboys and room cleaners. I would especially like to thank Echo, Hisin, Taufik, Nifa and the ineffable Richard for the warmth and hospitality they have shown! Top notch!

The Hotel is very nice overall. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are almost always full especially in weekends and not much variety for breakfast. The hotel food is really expensive with standard taste. But you can always go next door to eat...

Because it is close to the festival plaza, you will have no trouble finding alternative food other than the restaurant at the hotel. close to sports center. close to the nearest shuttle if you stay overnight just for transit. The hotel staff was very friendly, the check-in process was fast, breakfast was sufficient. Only the room size was a bit small, but because I was alone and staying overnight for transit, everything was fine.

A great and comfortable place to stay with your family. The rooms are clean, their facilities in the gym and the pool are great, the rooms are also give a great view of Jakarta, and the most important all the staffs are very nice, humble and give their best services.

I didn't stay here but had a wedding technical meeting on the 3rd floor. Staffs were being very helpful, professional, courteous and polite, from security and waitresses. The place itself is easily accessible using public transport and personal vehicle and easily visible from the street. I had a pleasant experience visiting this place and would commend on their service.

My wife and I did 7 days of quarentine in the JS Luwansa as we choose this hotel for the pictures (very old and not matching real life) and reviews. We had the worst experience of our lives and I will like to share so people doesn’t have to go though the same horrible experience. Rooms: The rooms are very old, not as big as in the pictures. The paper on the walls is falling apart as you can see in the pictures and the toilet specially is full of mold. (Shown in the pictures below) further more we found cockroaches in the room and after calling the reception a guy came to fumigate.. yes fumigate the room with us inside during the quarentine… Also the Ethernet port didn’t work and 1 of the plugs didn’t work. Food: We found worms in the food and mold in the cheese (see pictures) and the food was horrible, this happened 5 times since we where there. We request for the manager to come to see us in the room however he never came in the whole 7 dys. Instead 2 staff came to apologize that didn’t speak any English at all (actually no one that we have seen speaks English at all) We both got food poisoning for the whole duration of our stay. How can a hotel with 4 stars have such a low level of food safety? Staff: The staff didn’t speak English and apparently where use to the low level of cleanliness and food safety as they only apologize but didn’t propose any solutions. We requested The manager to come to see us many times however apparently he was never present.I found this hard to believe. We ask the reception on check out if there where aware of what we went through during our stay and they didn’t know and didn’t care. Just incredible!! Plus, we Asked to have some arrangement in the room, because the quarantine was the first stop for our honeymoon, however there was nothing on our arrival… Since day one, it was disappointing.

This is the sole review for the Pool Bar: What a service. You charge 100k for beers & 700++ for wine and serve them on plastic cups. The waiters didn't even bother to pour the wine. We even needed to ask for ice buckets to chill the wine because the staffs are too lazy to provide them. Please review your staff quality again. With such expensive menu, other bars will serve the guests much much better. Remember that this is a hospitality business, not just another 'warung jalanan'. Very poor staff quality

I held a public event here. Since the preparation until the day of the event, the staff were very helpful and always on stand by. One of my expatriate also used the pick up service to the airport, the instruction was clear and easy to follow, the driver also came on time. Really great and pleasant experience.

This hotel located in Rasuna Said area near Plaza Festival. Many public transportation near here like Trans Jakarta, and soon expected by July 2023 we can use LRT to reach this hotel. The food is very good, complete menu at breakfast buffet. Having many Meeting room that can use to any occation like training, gathering, meeting.

I stayed here several times for business trip purpose. The interior of the hotel is a little old, but it’s clean and well maintained. The service is good. Breakfast food variations are limited, I hope they can add more variations, but the taste is good. The locations of the hotel is strategic, so it’s often full occupied on weekdays.

All good. Services and officers are great! But, just one note, Air Conditioner in the bedroom needs quite long time until it feels cold. The engineer said it is because the Air Condition system is centralized. Besides, the Fitness Center is clean and has a beautiful city view from the 5th level.

Denang was wonderful at the Olam, he helped us with my toddler and was extremely courteous. The other staff here is also extremely nice and goes out of the way to help with children. I brought a toddler who only wanted to eat apples, and I requested staff to peal some and they happily helped. The overall concierge services were also very good. I used their advice to navigate basic jakarta, and they would always give me their contact for making sure that I could connect with them if I was lost. The rooms are practical and good for work (which my wife was here for). Overall good experience.

Here for a meeting. Their food was very good, better than other hotel's restaurant I've tasted. Their choco pudding was the best among their dishes

Very nice stay experience in this hotel. Clean room, good breakfast buffets, and friendly staff on great price. Just 800k for a 4 star hotel in Kuningan area. Unfortunately they closed their basement lift on 08.00 p.m., so make sure you drop your luggage on the lobby before park your car in case you came after that time. My first time here in JS Luwansa, and it was a delightful experience! The room was comfy and clean, i also had time experiencing working out in fitness center which also very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was superb! All the food that i try is delicious, even the hot chocolate! Breakfast time also become more comfortable because of the friendly and helpful staff. I was helped a lot by Keisha, and thanks to her i can truly enjoy my breakfast!

As a star city hotel the location of JS Luwansa is quite good in the heart of Jakarta near the important point of Jakarta, the service, facility and taste of the food more than we paid👍

Idk about the rooms, I just had a company meeting & lunch there. The meeting room is ok, so does the food & wifi. The staff were quite responsive but there was some moments where there is no one to be seen.

The location is quite central so it’s easy access to get anywhere anytime. The staff have been very helpful. The hotel offer a lot of variety for breakfast so you could choos to enjoy intercontinental breakfast or explore the local delicacy. Simple and fast process for check in and check out wuth friendly staff. Importantly, I left my trousers and key in the room after check out and the staff has been very helpful and responsive to help send them to my house.

this 4 star hotel is great for a weekend getaway the rooms are small but very nice and comfortable. for the pool bar, I met a waitress named Eva, she was very sweet and she was very open to help me, I can't speak English but she translated it very well I like it. She can speak korean too, it's so cute><

The room was clean. We loved that there was already preparation for 3 of us, whereas usually in other hotels, we have always had to call and ask for the third towel, slippers etc. The shower door leaked water every time we had a shower and the lighting in the bathroom can be improved..very dim. Fauzi from house keeping was excellent and cleaned out our bathroom every morning. I loved the personal attention given to us by Fahrizal and the restaurant manager Eko at breakfast time. Bear in mind that men, it seems, are not allowed to wear singlets to breakfast- that was a bit unexpected, would have been good to write it clearly in their information. Altogether will highly recommend this place for warm service and cleanliness. Taxis are easily available too.

The receptionist when i arrive wasnt that friendly but i guess it is just the personality of that one person because as i stay longer i find that the hotel staff, the Olam restaurant service are all excellent especially Supervisor Mukhlis, Indra, Nopi and Atika very friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel room is just nice and spacious but because the hotel is combine with convention center there is too many people around. That’s the only setback other than that our stay is excellent.

All been great for this hotel. They have very good hospitality, we forgot our good during check out but their lost and found reached us on how we could retrieve it. A very good service overall

Only was here for training and did not stay in one of the rooms. Lobby, conference room, and restaurant were clean. Friendly staff. Food was OK. Excellent location in the heart of Jakarta and accessible via public transport such as Transjakarta and LRT.

The hotel is newly renovated. The room is clean. For this hotel rate in prime location of Kuningan, it is quite cheap. The gym has new equipment, the swimming pool is awesome too located on fifth floor with city view. Breakfast menu is good too, they have wide variety of eggs menu, variety of pastry and juices, cereal and different kind of everyday menu nasi goreng, sausages and several chinese menu dishes. However it needs improvement of water heater system as the water for showering and washing hands is too hot. The room also smells a little bit of cigarrettes smoke.

It would be great if hotel can provide adequate praying room especially for meeting participants.

Located in the strategic main road, part of the so called golden triangle roads in Jakarta, this hotel provides four star hospitality services. While the building was designed to look modern, many of the details inside the building reveal the lack of perfect finishing. The devils are in the details and this hotel unfortunately suffer from that. If you have sharp eyes, a desire to see everything perfectly made and tend to be skeptical, you can help yourself by avoiding this hotel

I stayed during my quarantine a few weeks ago and did not have the best experience with my husband. The food was so bad and so disgusting. It's stale, cold and never fresh. It comes in cold boxes and has no taste. I do not recommend this place. Rather stay in a cheap hotel and order gojek. More value for money.

The hotel is very comfortable, clean and safe and all the staff is very nice ! Always here to help. Even in quarantine it was a pleasure to be there. The view is amazing also, on Jakarta modern city, especially at night. I strongly recommend 🙏🏼

Awesome hotel but food is absolutely terrible, they think because you quarantine and already pay set price can serve stale salad and old fruit and cold chips an hour late from when you order . Have many my workmates that are working overseas that live in Bali and the one and only thing they want know is the food good !! Disgusting what you have served up. Food is meant be fresh hot and served on time especially when been working away. Thankfully Covid finish soon and we not have places this again.

Helpful and kind crew. The room wasn't very big, but it was arranged neatly. Clean and well-maintained with connector door in certain rooms. Located in a busy road near a plaza, so things like food weren't a concern. Food in the hotel were great though. Lunch and dinner menu were one of the best from any hotel I've ever been. It's not that varied, but the taste were great. Breakfast was OK. Great experience overall.

Come to wedding reception at JS Luwansa ballroom. Park space? Okay but not great in Jakarta standard. Services? Good and responsive. Food taste? Good but not too great. Health protocols? Great as follows. Room? Great and beautiful arrangement. Recommended? Could be one of good option.

Stayed there for period 12-14 November, Nice room and nice breakfast especially provide the cappuccino and tea pot, friendly staff and helpful with the airport transfer when I desperately needed as I was running late with a good price. Tried to stay again for period 19-21 November but fully booked so I stayed somewhere else but disappointed

Stayed in this hotel during my quarantain period (3 days). Room was ok although it looked if there were prison bars in front of the windows 😄 furthermore a little lag of maintenance was noticeable at certain places. The quarantain menu, 3 meals a day, was good no complaints about that.

I stayed here for my quarantine stay and I'm so glad I did. Its affordable, clean, really comfortable bed, amazing staff and quiet. The food is good to they have a western menu and asian menu. The staff also sent chocolate to my room and just made me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend

Was here for 4 nights. Breakfast is OK but business travel but if you're looking for big spread, it isn't. I like it simple and hassle free so it works in my favour. Room is clean and simple. Nothing to shout out about. It is an old design room so plugs might not be as accessible as you might want.

Friends organised an event near by, decided to stay in city. JS had good price so took a chance. Checkin smooth and quick, good team. Room was adequate for the night, comfortable, clean and good size. Breakfast included, buffet, many options, for me i felt very average in quality. Check out good, smooth. I would like to say thankyou to reception and housekeeping.Arrived home, realised i left my iphone charger in room. Hotel staff found and very helpful to organise to send me next day. Nice hotel eventhough it looks old when you see the rooms door and bathrooms. Need more variety in breakfast, food taste also so-so. Room was good and have clean linen and Towel.

I came here for a seminar conducted by ministry of health. Location is great, easy to find, parking lot is good and spacious, seminar room are clean and organized well. Snack, coffee and lunch are various and tasty. The only thing is only about the air conditioned is super cold. Need to wear jacket. But over all it is a nice hotel for seminar.

Friendly, helpful human talents. Amazing cuisine - Indonesian Oxtail Soup, Soto Ayam, Soto Kambing and others (too short time to try others). A great place for drinks and business network is on the second floor - Chill Bar, one of the professional cigar lounges. Enjoyed the stay.

Went there on Ramadan 2022 for a meeting and Iftar, and it was quite good. We had a meeting in the top floor, overall the room was wonderful, but we had a sound system problem. The operator staff was confused and couldn't fix the problem, but fortunately the meeting could be held without sound system. So, better the operator ready with this kind of situation. Iftar dish was awesome, no smoking area in the restaurant. *bonus pic (meeting with this kind of view)😁

5 stars for the food (sad I didn't take any pics bcs I was in a hurry)! it was one of the best breakfast I ever had. I had a quick stay for an event. the bedroom and its hygiene is ok.

Stay at weekend in May 2022. Nice staff, fast and simple check in. First we got room at 10th floor but moved to another room due to horrible sound from the next room guess. Up graded to 14th floor at the corner room. The room were more spacious with beautiful city view at night. The equipment at the fitness centre quite complete. Breakfast with limited choice but the food tasted good.

This is my second stay at the JS Luwansa, and the reason for returning to this hotel was my great experience during my first stay. This time I had to extend my stay for business purposes, and the process was handled fluently and with ease. I appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of all staff, fantastic restaurants and food, the hotel facilities, comfortable rooms and cleanliness, as well as the location. I can highly recommend this hotel for the business traveller.

Really enjoy my stay here. Very nice room with a very nice service. Room was clean, very comfortable bed, reasonable price and room size. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. It's located beside the plaza festival so you can get food option there.

Meeting rooms are properly equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable, fully furnished to the bathroom with hot water available all the time. You can stay in smoking or nonsmoking bedroom. You can also visit the sports club and the swimming pool for free. The resto boasts a variety of good western menus with friendly and timely services. The domestic vegetable menus were often overcooked, but the staff had responded well to my feedback on this later. To the locals, female staff with trousers might be more a more preferable sight rather than ones with above-knee skirts and stockings.

Overall, a fairly good experience with the hotel, the location works to the advantage of those commuting to the industries around. The room quality is moderately good, however there are signs of wear out. Service is the aspect in need of serious overhaul as several staff seem to be new, and not having a good handle of the operations. Probably a post-covid impact, but I have seen some hotels not making this issue stand out. Staff competency is an area for improvement. Breakfast is quite standard for a 4-star establishment. Like the lobby and restaurant area where it's served. Once the service is on par, definitely a good place to stay.

We were here on cuarantine for 7 days. Clean, but furniture in the room is not new, bathroom is new. Staff is very friendly, on reception people speak in English good, but others don't understand you at all.
