My first impression of pie oh: - the soup tastes herby, rich and sweet from the huang jiu (it's a free condiment on your table too), and the fermented soybean paste (tauco). The tauco is not overpowering. - the meat is pretty tender and lean. Just like lean part of pork If you are like me, never ate pie oh before, it's surprisingly a pretty safe dish to try. Putting a lot of cilantro leaves also helps to make the taste more familiar.

The best Pie-Oh in town! They only sell when they can find fresh ingredient. Make sure to call them before your trip since they might not open (if they can't get any fresh Pie-Oh) and they queue is always crazy! But once you get a sip of their thick broth soup, you'll never be able to undo your addiction to the taste, as it will linger forever in your mind. Definitely worth to try!

It's hawker food, so expect eating it with your sweats coming out. But food is highly recommended and this place has been open for more than 30 years
