    Had my quarantine here and I think the experience has been amazing. From the airport pick up to my arrival in the hotel, everything went super smoothly. This hotel really ensures that those who are quarantining and those who are staying with normal rates are separated. Even the lobby and the lifts for quarantine guests are separated. Room was super clean and spacious, I had the superior room and it was spacious enough for more than 5 luggage. Meal packages was quite excellent in terms of cleanliness and variety of options (even for vegetarians or those with particular allergies). Overall, even if the rate is higher than other hotels, this place really delivers the most excellent services with the best health & safety protocols.

    Of all my experiences staying in 5-star hotels, both domestically and abroad, this is the only hotel that has provided me with poor service and experiences. Here's why: 1. The parking situation is incredibly inconvenient and unreasonable. Despite numerous vacant parking spaces in the hotel lobby and basement, I was directed to a distant parking area. The hotel staff didn't explain why this was the case and didn't apologize for the inconvenience I experienced as a guest. 2. The service and staff were far from friendly. No one in the lobby greeted me with a smile or a warm welcome. Don't expect the heavy, massive lobby entrance doors to be opened for you by the hotel staff. 3. The restaurant staff were unfriendly, and the service was poor. After a guest finished their meal, new utensils should be promptly provided so the next guest can eat without having to search for utensils themselves. When I asked for a spoon and fork, they merely pointed without offering to assist. 4. The cleaning service in the restaurant where I had breakfast was impolite and lacked basic manners. One morning, while I was dining alone at my table, a cleaner staff started chatting with his coworker while leaning his broom and cleaning tools on my table. Can you imagine? They need to be trained in basic manners and etiquette for all employees. 5. There was a faded red stain on my bedsheet in my room. I didn't notice it when I checked in as it was covered by the duvet. However, in the morning, when I was making the bed, I noticed the stain. I'm left wondering if the bed linens are always changed for new guests. 6. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor. In my experience with other 5-star hotels, they have a distinctive and pleasant fragrance throughout the lobby and rooms. The bathroom in this hotel had an unpleasant smell, making me uncomfortable and reluctant to stay. 7. The rain shower was broken, and there was only a hand shower hanging in an inconvenient position. I had to hold it throughout my shower, which was highly impractical and frustrating. 8. I've noticed many negative reviews from other unsatisfied guests. I strongly urge the hotel management to read and seriously consider these reviews for improvement. 9. I will not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, whether for business or family vacations. Thank you for your attention. This is my first and last stay at this hotel.

    Not a good hotel for business trip. 1. Dedicated parking location for hotel customer is very far. When there is a dedicated parking just opposite the entrance, security kept saying is for events, when there were no events. 2. Food deliveries are not allowed to drop off food at lobby or to the security member. So every time you need to walk to the gate to collect delivery.

    This hotel is just everything you search in a city get away! I stayed 7 nights and every wish was taken care of immediately! The staff is very friendly and helpful in any thinkable way. I’m vegetarian and the diversity of different international options are just amazing! I love the room I stayed in…very spacious, king size super comfy bed, spacious bathroom and an amazing city skyline view! I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel no matter if it’s a business trip or family holiday. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars well deserved

    I booked a non smoking room. When I check in the receptionist asked if I want smoking room, I said no. Then when I walked into room, lo and behold I got a smoking room. Called reception and they said no more room available and will change me tomorrow. I have a severe sinus case and couldn't sleep in a smoke infested room. Now I've left my bags in the counter and see if they'll change me to a non smoking room when I'm back from work later. Update: came back to hotel at 8pm and they changed my room to non smoking. They even gave a complimentary fruit plate which is a nice gesture. This time the room is so much different, same room but amenities are stocked and even the towel is fluffier.

    Hotel staffs are friendly. Great location. room and facilities are amazing. If you're a gymn person, this hotel is an excellent choice because they have a neat, tidy and decent gymn equipments.

    Grand Mercure Kemayoran. This is one of new the big hotels in the Kemayoran area. The hotel with 27 floors is quite luxurious and attracts people to stay here. I visited this hotel as a guest to take my family to hold a wedding event at this hotel. I think the hotel is good and the service of the staff is also friendly. My family really likes the facilities here because they are very adequate for both short stays and long stays. Arriving at the time of the wedding ceremony the decoration was quite well, the ballrooms were nice and the party arrangements were very good, the waiters work fast to serve the food in and out to the set menu from table to table so that guests don't have to wait too long for the food and the drink. The presentation of the food on the table is nice and the taste as well.

    Airco in room is noisy, buffet as well in the morning as evening was poor for the price u have to pay...for example no chicken or beef that goes with the rice. Anyway i prefer other hotel for that price. Staff is very friendly amd room is bigg enough.

    Stayed here for a night with my family. All is perfect! Room clean enough, neat and comfortable. Breakfast had many choices also good taste. Wife connection was stable for streaming. All staff was friendly and help me a lot. Thanks to GMJK!

    Great location for Jakarta Fair staycation. Fast check in which is surprising and very pleased, well maintained (since 2015 but look new), the Wifi is fast and stable. Clean room and bathroom, spacious, and the services very professional. Breakfast menu was delicious and variety. Very recommend!

    Terrible. Wifi keeps disconnecting. The IT department seriously needs to be trained. Nobody picks up the reservation phone on 10AM. Called 11 times!. When I needed some information about the bookings while I'm in the airport. Nobody picks up the operator phone in the room on 1030 AM. The staff were not nice. Didn't inform about the pillar in the room. Cockroach in the room.

    The worst 5-star Accor hotel I've ever stayed at... This will be my first and last stay. * No welcome drink was offered as an Accor Plus member. * The waitresses at the restaurant were the worst, even the senior waitress provided the worst services. I politely asked one of the waitresses to get some tea for me, but it wasn't served until I left the restaurant. I asked one of the senior employees or waitresses if this restaurant was fully self-service, and he said it wasn't. He defended his team, claiming they might be busy, but unfortunately, they were not busy at that time. I could see three of them chatting in front of me. When I moved to another table because mine was taken by other customer when i grab some food, I noticed that the new napkin placed on the table with the spoon and fork was colored red—perhaps from lipstick? When I asked the waitress to change the napkin, they simply grabbed it and didn't apologize for what had happened. What I observed was that when a foreigner asked for tea, they received it quickly, within minutes....LOL

    Came here for a biz trip. The food is amazing, so many options and delicious. The room is nice and clean. But only one traumatic experience here is the towel in the bathroom has urine smell. Seems like it been used to wipe someone's pee and then fold it and put it back to the towel hanger in the bathroom. I still can remember its smell until now 🤢

    Stayed here for quarantine purposes for 5 days. Accommodation and rooms are really nice and cozy, bathroom is spacious, and clean up service regularly supply you with fresh toiletries. However, food which was included in our quarantine package was not the best, portions very really relly small, you are always hungry, and then of course you need to order some extra food with the room service, your annoying problems stars. Nobody picking up the phone for hours, no matter which number you call. Everyday like that, it is like nobody is working anywhere in the hotel, and you are all alone there. Very very bad service! And whence you are lucky enough to get the room service, expect to wait for your food from 1.5 to 3 hours. Nice accommodation and five star hotel was immensely shaded with such a bad service! Anyone looking to book this hotel for a quarantine purposes, avoid in big circle!

    We had a delightful experience with amazing service. The room was luxurious and the cleaners were so lovely - leaving me daily gifts and surprises. It's also attached to a big mall which is super convenient! The area itself is not the most convenient for the old town area and other tourist areas, but suitable if you're in the area for work. Highly recommend the buffet restaurant for dinner, the options are endless! One downside - my room definitely smelt damp, though my colleague's did not, so I'd recommend asking to move if you have the same issue as me!

    Stayed here solo to attend a concert in Jakarta. Very happy with the room. The online photos don't really show how big it is. It is also well-located, being relatively more accessible to Jakarta International Stadium and the Jakarta airport when compared to other luxury hotels, meaning you would avoid a lot of the inner city traffic. This hotel is also competitively priced for a 5 star hotel, presumably because it is targeted towards not just business people but also locals for staycations. The staff were excellent, pleasant, and polite throughout all my different interactions with them. Very happy with them. Small detail but the beds and pillows were actually comfortable, soft but firm enough to provide support. One small thing that I did find a little strange was how hot and stuffy the hallways were, almost as if the air conditioning was turned down on my floor but I suppose it doesn't matter that much because you don't book a hotel to stay in the hallway. Happy to return to this well-priced hotel where they provide excellent service.

    Been here twice for quick drop. The room is spacious and really good. So bad that the room service. We ordered pizza and had made sure to the restaurant it would be delivered in 40 mins, they don't let go food or grab driver to enter hotel area. We were leaving in 1hour. And it didn't came.

    Pros: + Clean and comfortable rooms + Great beds + Amazing shower + Complimentary water in room + Nice pool/spa facilities + Staff are amazingly nice and helpful Cons: - Can hear people talking very clearly in adjacent rooms - Many rooms/hallways smell like cigarette smoke - Buffet restaurant was very expensive ($2,400,00 for 6 people) For the price, this is an amazing hotel, with literally no competition. Just wish it didn't smell like cigarettes and that I couldn't hear my neighbor talking all day/night.

    Firstly, I must say that the staff were generally friendly. Hotel is expensive. I have stayed at hotels with similar prices where my overall experience was great. I had also booked 3 rooms. Checked out a little late and stiil got charged for another day after travelling from a long trip to other provinces and they still would not budge. No understanding... The staff at the restaurant was ok but food was standard. Booked at this hotel for 5 nights and coming back to the rooms where we had most of our belongings and founding out that they locked us out made me feel like I was not welcomed at all. Also, had to take shower after coming back from the long trip and for some reason the water was brown, not sure why...

    I stayed at 15th floor room. Cozy room but the floor is dusty. And not quiet n silent enough for a 15th floor room. You can hear the sound of noisy motorcycles and cars at day and even all night long The food is good. Facilities are ok. The service from the Catappa breakfast restaurant waitresses was very poor. I asked them to get my utensils (because i didnt have any at my table) .And after 5 mins of waiting, I looked at them ( they were 3) and they were chatting and havent got my utensils. But, I have a good thought on Plumeria staff. I forgot and left my backpack there, and they kept my backpack safe when i got there again. Thanks to the Plumeria staff. And finally, the basement carpark was very poor. I have to find quite far spots to park because a lot of them were reserved for the clubs there. And the access to the lobby lift is very inconvenient. We have to walk from the car so far and walk through carways.

    Stayed for 3 nights in the establishment's non-smoking option. Room is spacious and very convenient, room service is great. Reception is proper and efficient. Security officers are polite and helpful. They have Bluebird taxis on standby in the premises so in all of my trips I had my taxi ready in less than three minutes. Cleanliness is almost great if not for the stains on bedsheets. Towels are mostly stain-free. Bathroom have a slight cigarette smell sometimes, but not much of an issue. Shower head leaking a bit/ Need to rethink rules and traffic on food deliveries — nowadays in Jakarta guests order food via online delivery services so hotel needs to accommodate with a proper food traffic system instead of having guests come down to take their food outside of the building + letting delivery couriers wait in the heat. Lovely stay!

    I was in the Sante event on 19 November 2023, the food in buffet was messy, dirty and nostaff standby not even MOD around it seems they dont care with this big event. No food anymore in the buffet and not even water to drink so a lot of guest in the event was very thirsty. This is the worst service from this so called 5 star hotel...which is very very below standard. The food presentation is like in the Pasar basah food street. Everything is berantakan and the floor are wet with food spilled. The GM must be evaluated it seems he does not care the 5 star standard anymore. Very very poor service and I am very dissapointed... Noproper signage in the parking to lobby and security forced us to park outside instead of in the parking basement area....why????

    I've chosen this property jsut because the position, it is very near to expo exhibition center, so if don't want to spend your time on a taxi from /to Expo and downtown hotel this is good. Price is ok, however the overall service is below my expectation, the room was not super cleaned. I spent 5 days after 3rd days outside shower carpet disappeared, the towels were not so nice cleaned but overused. laundry I don't know why they did not deliver in room, and replenish the basket, besides I thicked folded shirt arrived on hook. on my floor 26th always for 5 days smell of food... very strong.... as said it can be definetely improved.

    This is an absolute gem of a hotel. This is a rare instance of a hotel punching waaaayyy above the brand standards. The physical properties are far more luxurious than your typical Grand Mercure while the hotel staff is where this property really shines. All staff I encounter were friendly, caring, helpful and professional. Do seek out this superb hotel next time you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!

    Very strict Quarantine regulations. If you did not have Covid you cannot get it here. Strict rules great service fantastic rooms. Awesome food 3 variety's Asian, Indonesian and Western food. Great stay. I will recommend for anyone who wants to do their Quarantine at a decent place.

    the room was big and comfy. sadly they didnt cleaned the room even though i put the bell on, and i needed to call for the room service to do that. a bit of a hassle tho. but the food were amazing, especially the bread pudding they serve almost around the clock.

    The room is great, I got a great view of Jakarta. However the room service wasn’t that satisfying. We have to wait long for the housekeeping to finally clean our room. And not to mention we have to request them to take out the garbage, if not they didn’t do it. Food were quite disappointing at first day but later on it became better. Not the most delicious but still acceptable compared to the first day of stay. Hopefully the food flavour is consistent later on

    Honestly, expectation vs reality… it was disappointing. Stayed there for my 7d quarantine. At least the room was spacious, AC and wifi was working fine. However, the food quality was not great.. Most of the time it wasn’t fresh. A few times the pasta and side vegetables had gone sour. One night, they didn’t clear my lunch and dinner boxes which I had placed back outside the room. Think this attracted the baby cockroach that I saw in my room? Thankfully I saw it on my last night. I called to inform them the next morning, to which they simply replied “oh”. However, I suspect there might be a new family of cockroaches breeding in/near my room since I saw a baby one. Management, please check. Besides that, the staff were all polite, professional and nice! They offer daily room cleaning. Still grateful it was a spacious room with decent wifi and AC.

    The stay was okay. But the food quality is very bad. Even they gave me a rotten veggie and half cooked duck. And whats worst no matter how many times u remind them about ur food allergies they will sure forget one. Its like 5* room hotel with 1* quality food Even for buying room food service took 1hr+

    I like everything for this hotel except the location together with MGK in the basement, I have to walk for a long, dark, dirty alley in car park that connected to the hotel, there is also entrance for a discotheque that open in the evening time underground so my wife and 1 year old kid have to see such women with improper dress when we park the car. Besides that, room, food, cleanliness, service, everything perfect

    It was my worst experience ever to have booked my stay at your property in kemayoran Jakarta. The staff is either under trained or inefficient. Let it be extension of the stay to ordering food on room service, in 22 yrs of my travel Internationally I have never come across people who are so poorly trained to take care of international travellers. Room service takes 1 hr min and 3-4 calls. After having got a confirmation on room extension of another 2 nights they tell Me they don’t have a booking and they prefer I book online through a agent. After having put a deposit of 1.5mil idr every time they come with room service they insist on me paying for the food. I am most disappointed with the unapologetic and causal behaviour of your staff.

    TLDR: Generally good hotel with great amenities but expensive during my stay. I had 2 separate bookings that are back to back dates and also informed the staff so that they will not move me to another room after completing my first stay/booking. But still, my card was not functional right after the first booking which made quite a lot of hassle because the reception is really really slow. Otherwise, the hotel is real good with functional and clean amenities for guests

    Worst experience ever, sales team are clearly not experienced. Always hard to contact, hardly reply to texts. I am a sales person too, and that is not the way you treat your customers. The staff treat us, locals, DIFFERENTLY from the foreigners. Totally not professional. I booked 11 rooms for my guests for the whole week due to an event in JIExpo. It took them the whole month to process my reservation. A lot of miscommunication happened during my stay. They are clearly understaffed. I will never let my guests or anyone I know, stay here ever again.

    Check-IN and out was really not customer friendly. It takes half an hour... The rooms are clean and really big. Breakfast buffet are really impressive. Please have a look to the coffee, it's for sure possible to adjust the machine. The result are not how coffee should be. The complete stuff after very friendly. We come back for sure..

    For the price and rating of the hotel, it is definitely decent and equal to other 5-star hotels. I booked this place only for the new year, but I loved it and would come back in the future. The best part about this place is definitely the city view you get, if you're lucky enough to get the best one, but remember that price equals quality.

    Breakfast are good, various choice ms are available with good flavors. During my visits they have good croissant and coffee. Room is good, clean and comfortable. The decor styling can be improved though for my classic room. There is nothing special with the decor. Service is good as usual. Always satisfied with Grand Mercure service.
