Awesome collections of traditional clothing from various regions from Indonesia, also there are many collection of other traditional tools and craft from the past usually used by the Indonesian people. I'd love that they put details & explaining everything. Something for improvement however is the lighting, it will be better to have more lights in my opinion. Overall, its a really good & educational museum.

This museum costs 15,000 rupiah to enter and has different exhibits of culture spread over three floors. English translations are good but there are a lot of museums like this so it may seem like you have similar museums before if you travel around Indonesia a lot.

Amazing museum that mainly showcases Indonesian weaving, masks and traditional costumes. Some traditional costumes worn by the President for formal events are also displayed. Conveniently located near the information centre, this museum is free of charge and is a great introduction to Indonesia before you visit the other parts. Generally quiet, the displays are well maintained and informative. English informations are provided by scanning the QR code of the exhibit. The exterior is amazing, beautifully decorated and calming. You can easily spend 1 hour here so be mindful if you want to explore other parts of the park as well :)

When you enter here there are absolutely no two people. It's actually good but the nuances are scary because the light is dim and quiet plus many traditional musical instruments such as gamelan, the sculptures are afraid of themselves. Overall it's cool, if there is a guide and the lighting is brighter (Original) Museumnya megah, desain nya bagus nuansa bali, dan keren bgt banyak aneka mulai dr baju adat, alat musik, senjata, patung2. Waktu masuk kesini sama sekali gaada orang cuma berdua. Overall keren sih, kalo ada guide nya dan pencahayaannya lebih terang

(Translated by Google) The initial idea of the establishment of the Indonesian museum came from Mrs. Tien Soeharto, then poured it into a Balinese-style building consisting of 3 floors. Through Tri Hita Kirana's philosophy, an architect named Ida Bagus Tugur developed the museum. This philosophy explains the existence of three sources of human happiness, namely the relationship between humans, the relationship between humans and their environment and humans with God. This museum was built in 1976 and inaugurated in 1980 to coincide with the 5th anniversary of the Taman Mini 'Indonesia Indah' by President Soeharto. This museum functions as a permanent exhibition venue with descriptions of the collection objects which are divided into 3 themes. On the 1st floor, the theme is Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, which displays a variety of traditional and bridal clothing. (Translated by Google) Because the pandemic season like this is quite natural if the museum has fewer visitors, inside the mannequins are filled with various kinds of Indonesian traditional clothes, they are really nice inside, don't forget to go up to the 3rd floor yeah, which will obviously add insight into the country us ,, the outside nuances of Bali are so good for photos ,, (Original) Karna musim pandemi seperti ini so agak wajar y klo museumnya berkurang pengunjungnya,, di dalemnya isi manekin dengan menggunakan berbagai macam baju adat seindonesia,, baguss banget di dalamnya,, jangan lupa naik sampai lantai 3 yaa,, yg jelas akan nambah wawasan tentang negeri kita,, luarnya nuansa bali so good bnget untuk foto foto ,,

When I went there, they opened the front gate, but the museum itself was actually still closed due to the ongoing renovation. I'm excited to go back again once it's officially opened!

The first impression is extraordinary. The museum's exterior is in Balinese ethnic style surrounded by magnificent statues and various displays of Balinese customs. Pleasing to see! The interior of the museum is surprisingly clean and neat. The collection is quite diverse and well-maintained. I am glad that there is such a well-kept museum in TMII. It's a good improvement for TMII to attract people. I will recommend this museum to my overseas friends.
