This restaurant serves Indonesian food from all different regional cuisines. Not the most authentic since they make their own interpretation of each dish but everything is delicious. Price is quite affordable. Packed on lunch and dinner time, so expect a delayed service/food to your table. Nasi Bakar was nice with variety of its filling, chicken, tuna, etc. I usually ordered the nasi bakul with lauk (fish/chicken and stink beans). Empal (Indo beef jerky) with balado also nice. Gurame masak atau goreng kering is favorite here, also Ikan Bakar. Pindang Ikan with sour soup is nice and refreshing. Plenty choices of vegetable options such as pecel sayur with rempeyek. So many choices lah, can’t get bored with the food.

What I remembered the most from this dining experience was the shock that I got from the "encyclopedia" of a menu. It was big and each of the dishes had these big pictures, truly overwhelming with the choices especially some of them that are not your typical famous Indonesian dishes. The portions of most of the dishes are not too big, perfect for sharing between 2 to 3 people which allows you to order many different things. I wouldn't recommend the tahu Gejrot as it wasn't that good but the rest of the food is decent. Service is a little slow granted it was on the weekend lunch time. Food - 7 Service - 7 Vibe - 7 Price - $$

One of the most authentic Indonesian menu with lots of varieties to choose from. Always a treat to come here and they will try to give you the best service and any request that you might have. For our visit this time, a dear friend requested to have the raw stinky beans and they gladly served the request. You have to try pretty much everything in the menu but just be mindful, it may become quite a bit of a challenge if you have an elderly member in the family as this place can only be reached by high stairs. The rest is just superb. Highly recommended and one of the long standing Indonesian restaurant in the city.

Uplifted Indonesian food. Food. Taste super good. I really like the lemper which is traditional glutinous rice baked with aromatic leaves and shredded chicken. The nasi bakar tongseng was super spicy. I ate spicy food, but this one really scary hot. Nasi bakul also one of my favorite. Price. I wouldn’t say cheap. But to the quality, i think the price is still reasonable. Place. Located inside shopping mall, makes it wasy to find, easy parking, and convenient. Overall clean tables. Although for me, the seating surface is too hard. Would be nice to have a thin cushion. Service. Excellent. Provide free refreshing drinks while waiting in the queue line. Serving time was fast. Easy to order food from mobile phone through qr scanning.

If you come with friends/family, you can share with them because the portion is big! The place is luxurious, so make sure that you take pictures of your special moment here.

The first Remboelan in the city with a grand interior reflecting Indonesian cuisine with very high standards. Lovely to look at but more importantly delicious! Sundanese influence makes a dining experience unforgettable!

Written on Jan 22, 2024. First time dining here, I thought it was one of those over-fancied and price-y restaurants with so-so savor. Turned out I was wrong. The price is relatively affordable, compared to other similar establishments, and the food tasted pretty great! They place a button system on every table to call the waiters for ordering or requesting the check. They don't provide condiments and napkins on the tables, and the menu books (yes, plural, one for the main dish, and another for desserts and beverages) are ridiculously large! I ordered the Bubur Candil for appetizer, Tahu Tek Telor Gunung Ijen for the main dish, and the usual sweet iced tea for beverage. All of them tasted great, and the serving time was satisfactory. Got all of my orders in less than 12 mins.

The best Indonesian local casual dining chain. Wide variety selection of dishes from various Indonesia’s region specialties. Highly recommended if you are a tourist or expats wanting wide options of Indonesia’s dishes. As locals we approved the authenticity of these dishes. Food are usually consistent throughout all chains across Indonesia.

Try to find the authentic taste of Indonesian foods from Sabang to Merauke? Then please come to Remboelan (means moon in English). The location is on 2nd floor of Plaza Senayan, the ambience is quite great, like u sit upper surrounding the mall. They serve all Indonesian foods, such as gado-gado (mixed salad with peanut sauce), gurame saos mangga, gurame sambal matah (Balinese chilli), sate maranggi (beef satay), oxtail soup, tongseng ayam/kambing, garang asam iga (sour beef ribs), pepes jamur, sayur asem, bakwan jagung, nasi bakar (their favourite foods). Even not yet tasting the foods, you have already felt excited. They also gave gulali (candy) for free, however on the date we ate it did not have the stocks. We also ordered es campur.

Came by friend recommendation but I must say the food were good! Ordering was easy so we just scan QR code and submit orders as and when ready. Teh Poci was nice. Prices are alright since this is a restaurant. A little disappointed the staff was abit unfriendly when one of us informed them it was the birthday for one of us and checked again after a long while when the birthday "ice" was not served. Later on then we were asked to show his ID to verify it is indeed actual birth date. Not sure if this is a common practice, but we felt as if we're suspected. Other than that, all else was fine.

It has been awhile —2 years— that I did not come to this Restaurant (Pondok Indah remains the best of its franchise), and I remember the reason after. The meals are okay but nothing is standout. That is why I can not recalled why I do not remember anything about this place. Meals ⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Place ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️ The competitors that consider serves better Indonesia experience: Kembang Goela, Bunga Rampai and Seribu Rasa JAN 2022: It is remain an okay and average restaurant. Not much special here: service, meals and place. But the good thing in here: They serve JAMU!🤩

Very good Indonesian Food restaurant. We enjoyed the food, the service was outstanding and the prices were fair. We Including fried stuffed tofu, fried chicken bits, fried shrimp, a grilled fish, fried rice, and green beans. Everything was very tasty. The fish was a bit overdone, but the flavor was still very nice. The meal including a fruit drink and 2 beers came out to $37.50. We were very pleased and would certainly go back and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Tables were full even in weekdays at lunch time. Place was nice, atmosphere was comforting, but location on the third floor which only access is stairs, is little bit hard especially for some people/elderly who has walking problems. Food was delicious. We ordered : - nasi bakul teri basah 5/5 Small basket, perfect for 2 people - perkedel jagung sambal roa 4/5 - cobekan cumi garing blitar 4/5 - es air kelapa serai tanjung 4/5 Nasi bakar was also recommended

Went for lunch on Sunday. Busier than usual, reservation is a must. Great location at one of the popular shipping mall. Great selections of food, delishes and authentic taste. Most dishes is spicy, spicier than standard. One of my go to restaurant for Indonesian food.

The food was delicious for very affordable price. Too bad my first order came with a piece of hair in it. I know it was an accident and it was already late so they didn’t have yellow rice anymore. At the end I ordered nasi bakar roa and it was really delicious. Anyway, hubby got a free dessert (I don’t remember the name anymore), but we gave it to one of our friends.

Great Indonesian Food, taste so delicious, friendly waiter, good services, comfortable places especially for family dinner or lunch, seems that the prices are quite expensive but if we compare to the similar restaurant inside the mall, the prices are actually affordable. I recommend the Es Podeng, Nasi Bakar Roa, Nasi Goreng Candiijo, And Mie Goreng.

Underrated cafe in BSD. I visited after lunchtime on Saturday, and this place was completely empty! How surprising! It’s nicely decorated and has good coffee. The indoor area is relatively tiny and designed for having a convo over coffee instead of working with your laptop. Imo the chairs and tables are not comfortable enough for extended use. Overall a very cozy place to refresh and chill on the weekends!

this place has a good location inside the building, just right in front of the elevator on the 5th floor. so, it's easy to reach. they sell uplifted versions of indonesian foods. so expect to pay more than those you usually find around. i tried the fried rice with beef sei, a cuisine from east nusa tenggara region. it's tasty, savory, and full of spices. i like it. the staffs are helpful and quick to respond. we can also book the seat through their phone number. the interior design is beautiful and edgy.

Not sure why they term it as soulfood but certainly I can testify that it simplely good Indonesian food cooked in the traditional way. The soup buntok is very good here, probably 1 of the better in JKT. So much so that 1 had 2 portions.

It's simply fine for me. I couldn't taste the freshness of the seafoods. And the taste is more suitable for foreigner. It's a bit blunt for locals.
