Such
a
fancy
place
with
fancier
drinks.
A/A
Bar
delivers
it's
complexity
very
well.
First
major
win,
the
cocktails.
I
had
the
Fig
Signature
Cocktail
and
the
Coriander
Signature
Cocktail.
Fig
Signature
Cocktail
is
such
an
amazing
experience
to
drink.
It's
base,
the
brandy,
is
a
citrusy
sour
slightly
sweet
and
cold
drink
topped
with
a
very
nice,
very
delicious
cheese
espuma
(cheese
foam)
which
is
warm
creamy,
salty,
and
savory,
served
in
a
double
wall
glass.
This
drink
has
a
really
nice
mouthfeel
and
very
pleasant
to
drink.
My
favorite
drink
here,
even
though
I
don't
really
enjoy
whiskey,
brandy,
and
it's
derivatives.
As
for
the
choice
of
the
glass,
I
asked
why
they
used
a
double
wall
glass
because
a
nice
double
rocks
glass
would
do
wonders
for
this
drink,
they
answered
that
the
glass
might
break
with
the
difference
of
temperature
with
the
cold
brandy
and
the
warm
foam.
Coriander
Signature
Cocktail
is
a
fantastic
drink
as
well,
although
not
as
amazing
as
it's
Fig
counterpart.
The
Coriander
cocktail
served
in
a
highball
glass,
with
a
very
floral,
very
fragrant
aroma.
It's
light
and
fizzy
flavor
really
compliment
each
other,
boosting
each
other
up
instead
of
fighting
for
dominance
of
flavor
or
scent.
It's
also
sweet
and
bright,
with
orange
and
hints
of
chocolate
on
the
background.
Chamomile
Lemonade
is
a
quite
decent
non
alcoholic
drink,
served
in
a
big
wine
glass
with
edible
flower
as
it's
garnish.
It's
floral,
bright,
and
zesty.
I
feel
after
drinking
such
amazing
cocktail,
this
drink
kind
of
feels
flat.
As
the
night
continues,
we
also
ordered
snacks.
Sweet
Potato
Fries
and
Truffle
Bikini
Sandwich.
Sweet
Potato
Fries
are
nice,
crispy
and
tender
on
the
inside.
A
nice
battered
fries,
but
the
star
here
are
the
aioli.
The
menu
stated
that
it's
just
a
run
of
the
mill
garlic
aioli
dip,
but
I
tasted
and
smelled
a
hint
of
truffle
which
gave
this
dish
another
layer
of
complexity.
Although
I
don't
quite
enjoy
truffle,
I
still
find
this
dish
delicious
enough.
As
for
the
Truffle
bikini
Sandwich,
is
a
very
incredible
dish.
The
sandwich
are
cut
into
4
pieces,
which
seems
enough,
but
it's
not.
The
sandwich
is
sweet,
savory,
salty,
has
this
truffle
aroma
and
taste,
crispy
toasted
bread,
and
a
drizzle
of
honey
on
top.
Do
I
mentioned
the
ham
yet?
The
ham
itself
is
divine.
Turns
out
it
was
a
Serrano
Ham
which
I've
never
heard
of.
You
might
argue
that
"It's
just
a
bloody
sandwich
innit?"
and
you'll
be
right,
but
this
one
is
definitely
the
best
sandwich
I
ever
tasted.
For
now
at
least.
Now
for
the
minor
losses,
the
slightly
unsavory
practice.
Upon
entering,
we
are
greeted
very
warmly
and
nicely
by
the
hostess
and
the
waitress.
We
are
seated
and
looking
at
the
virtual
menu.
The
waitress
then
asked
a
very
normal
thing,
which
is
"Do
you
want
to
start
with
water?"
and
we
oblige.
Assuming
water
are
mostly
free
at
most
speakeasy
bar,
I
assume
we
would
get
tap
or
filtered
water,
but
instead
we
got
a
chilled
Aqua
Reflection
drink,
which
also
priced
quite
hefty
there.
The
waitress
didn't
mentioned
about
the
price
or
the
nature
of
the
paid
water
itself,
which
I
don't
quite
mind
purchasing,
and
since
we
had
a
long
night,
we
most
definitely
going
to
buy
water
anyway.
Just
a
minor
inconvenience
for
me.
Another
very
minor
losses,
the
cocktail
menu.
I'm
quite
an
experienced
cocktail
drinker,
and
I
still
had
a
hard
time
reading
and
understanding
the
menu.
The
nature
of
the
ingredients
of
the
cocktails
are
quite
clear
and
I
understand
most
of
them,
but
it
didn't
help
that
the
don't
have
any
image
whatsoever
representing
such
cocktail.
So
I
can't
have
any
visual
expectation,
only
flavor
expectation
through
the
ingredients
written
on
the
menu.
All
in
all,
the
minor
losses
doesn't
quite
compare
to
the
very
nice
experience
I
had
at
A/A
Bar.
I
hope
I
can
try
all
of
their
very
wonderful
cocktails.
