Legendary Hakka Restaurant. Their name (Angke) is literally translated to Red River. I’ve been coming here since I was a wee kid. Dad loves their food so much. Three years pandemic didn’t stop us from ordering this legendary chinese dishes such as lindung cah fumak (eels with fragrant leaves), mie goreng, ayam lada garam, mun hoisom, any pork dishes and many more. Their iconic eels are so good, crunchy with very aromatic greens and the sauce is out of this world. Also I haven’t found chinese fried noodles as good as they have it. You can start your meal with asparagus kepiting (crab) soup, sometimes I got those magnificent crab eggs yolk. So so yummy. Thank God for this restaurant to exist and survived the pandemic. All my foreigners friend love this place so much.

Premise is large. Service was good. Food was good but on the heavy salt side and served hot. Pricing was on the slightly high side. No smoking inside. Patrons were mainly families and so business folks. Overall served its purpose for my crave for eel and frog legs.

Legendary establishment, we opt for privy room that comes with minimum spending. Service is fast. Privy room is equipped with karaoke system as well so you can sing while choking on the fried fumak. They have vegetarian menu which is a plus point. Price point is on the higher end for this kind of cuisines.

Still is one of the best chinese food in town after a few decades. This place has been the local's favourite chinese food since I was a kid. Our family's favourite menu: Haisom (Sea Cucumber), Lindung Cah Fumak (Sauteed Fried eel with Fumak), Paikut Goreng (Deep Fried Pork Ribs), Babi Hong (Pork Belly). The haisom is pretty pricey compared to other menus but definitely worth the price. :) Book ahead, this place is super popular.

I've been coming here since i was a kid. It is one of my favourite restaurant of all time. Place can be very noisy because its always crowded. But they kept the place tidy and updated, they even have robots to carry their foods to help the waitresses now. Parking space is adequate, although not convenience if it rains since all parking are outdoor. The quality of the food is always satisfactory. My favourite dishes are ayam rebus, babat jarit rebus, angsio tahu, lindung cah fumak. They maintained their recipe throughout all these years. I hope they will keep it up for generations to come.

Very authentic Haka restaurant. I would say that this is the best in Jakarta. Very clean and hygiene throughout. The service is very good, friendly and professional. Almost like a 5 star hotel service. Well done.

This is an old and famous Chinese food restaurant in Jakarta. Modern interior with good air-conditioned hall, suit for family & friends gathering. Really delicious old recipes food, I think its one of the best chinese food in town. The restaurant is clean, good hygiene eating utensils, clean restroom as well, nothing to complaint. Its their customary that they closed at 2PM and open again at 5PM, if you are going to have a late lunch, then its not the option. I noticed some Chinese rhymes on the wall.. 如行万里路,读万卷书；只要功夫深,铁杵磨成针 they all have nothing to do with food, instead they are all related to encourage people to learn/study more do be the best. I believe the boss is a well educated person, he/she has reach the success on the food business through long commitment, struggle and efforts. Bravo!

Affordable and quite good. I am not a big fan of Chinese food but I enjoy this place. Very traditional and don’t expect something fancy. Old style Chinese restaurant. Recommended!

After coming here for so many times, this is the first time that I know there's a private room for big family function complete with karaoke system. We had a blast here. They have many private rooms from 2 tables up to 5 or 6 tables. The MUST EAT food here would be LINDUNG CAH FUMAK, AYAM GORENG, BABI HONG, MIE GORENG, PEK CAM KE (WHITE STEAMED GARLIC CHICKEN)...if you guys are looking for authentic chinese Hakka Indonesian food...this is the place.

Overall excellent family restaurant. First time visiting this restaurant i was surprised by the service that they had. As we get into our table, my daugther was promptly given a drawing/quiz sheet and 1 set of pencil colors. She was thrilled. Karena hampir semua makanan yg (randomly) kita pesan enak2, jadi yg bener2 recommended : 1. Udang telur asin 2. Soup asparagus 3. Buncis szechuan 4. Ayam garam Tips : Ask for their credit card discount. 🤑

Great experience, food was on par with other highly rated Chinese resto. It’s good for big families, they can accommodate bigger groups as well. They have private rooms if you want some privacy.

Its has been a tradition before the pandemic this resto to be one of my family fave resto. We go every other week for family gathering lunch or dinner. The food are excellent, esp the garlic ginger chicken, Lindung ca Fu mak, fried noodle, pok chai and pigeon, now its quite expensive.. But worth it, good portion for large members of family.
