Stay away. Fairly certain about food poisoning from the buffet. The hotel room has carpets (considered pretty unusual and low end in Scandinavia), and doesn't have a door to the bathroom. (??!?) Enjoy your partner using the toilet! Location also isn't good if you intend to visit the city.

Lovely place with a small castle and s small park with surrounding houses. Hotel available in one of the separate houses from the castle, also a sauna and relax available and a restaurant called "Orangeriet" with excellent food. Also the place where some of the Polar Music Prize stuff goes down

Attractive place and location. Quiet place surrounded by old park. Our junior suite was nice but there was no door separating bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast buffet OK. Did not include cappuchino or espresso. Cosy lounges for chatting with friends. Had the whole place for daughter's wedding party. Recommendation for similar occations.

The restaurant dinner menu does not have many option for pregnant women . Too reduced and not so flexible to invent something else. For a wedding location is great but unfortunately too many restrictions on what to bring , not to do, extra costs etc … Organised live music is great

There are aspects of this conference heavy hotel that are quite nice, but my room was in a modern annex to the original buildings, and it felt more like a cheap airport hotel than anything even remotely connected to a centuries old manor. The food was pretentious rather then excellent. The conference room we had was quite charming though.

This hotel is composed of several different buildings with different room types. I was there for a conference and I really enjoyed the cozy and home-y feeling of the decoration, the comfy bed, the delicious food and the friendliness of the staff, with a special mention to the incredible mâitre that supervised things to perfection. My room was clean, and despite being small, had all one could ask for.

Perfect. Can highly recommend. Best of all, dogs are welcome everywhere. Will defenitely come back if opportunity is given. +++++
