Best place for scenic view. You can view the best of Stockholm city from that height. Visited in winters and river down there was completely frozen. A must visit place if you are in Stockholm. Just amazing.. !! 🤩

This is the highest natural spot in the downtown of Stockholm that allows a beautiful view of the city, especially at night. The height is not particularly challenging, so it can be reached quite easily walking: at night there are no lights so you must watch where you put your feet.

This place has a very nice panoramic view over the city. We were here at new years eve, where we could see all the fireworks that were set off in the city. It can be a bit windy over here, so dress warm (especially in winter 🥶)

A bit of hiking from Zinkensdamm subway station. It can be a bit colder and windy when you reach the top of the mountain, however once you reach there you would be readily immersed in the panoramic 360 degrees Stockholm landscape. If it’s not much crowded you can sit there and can attain a spiritual bliss. This is one place where the ideas of writing a novel can be concocted(well this is not metaphorical, I actually found a couple of persons sitting there with pen and writing pad)

Very nice view of all of Stockholm whether by night or by day. Very lively in the evening especially at weekends. Very good atmosphere. Watch out, go up the right to avoid climbing. Perfect for sunsets;)

Perfekt!

Atemberaubend

The scenic view was just so aesthetic. This place is also free to visit whenever you want. I visited this place 2 times it's a 15 meter hill where many people visited it because going up, your able to see the city. I really likes this place it felt like I was in a dream, I recommend visiting this place.

Beautiful view of the city hidden between the houses. I recommend taking something to eat and have a picnic here - this place has a lovely atmosphere. It's a rocky surface, so be prepared and take good shoes

The top most sunset and sunrise spot in Stockholm. This is the highest natural hike point for watching panoramic views of the city. Public transports metro and commuter rails are available nearby this area. After a walk through Mariatorget, you can have a stroll along the main road to reach Skinnarviks watching point. Depending on the season, the sunsets and sunrise, along with moonrises can be composed over the symbolic architectures of Stockholm.

went to this at 05:30 in the morning during summers. I was the only one there. A perfect serene location with a breeze of fresh air and scenic beauty. You get panoramic view of the old town from here. and if you are lucky enough like me, you'll find rabbits and birds playing around. Overall, this place is amazing, just take some snacks along with you, you can have one of the best moments of your life.

Best sunsets! Bring good clothes in winter/autumn/spring cause it’s windy. And good shoes :)

Skinnarviksberget offers breathtaking views and is a beloved spot among locals. The picturesque scenery captivates visitors, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility amidst the city bustle. A must-visit gem for anyone in search of stunning vistas and an authentic taste of Stockholm's beauty.

Really nice view, but in New Years Eve, it was tricky to get to the top and get down because of a lot of ice. 🎄😅

Great little spot to get a fantastic perspective of the city. Plus, was able to get a view with the snow falling so the nostalgia was amped up to eleven!

Rocks at the top are a bit steep so watch your steps but apart from that, lovely view!

Amazing view and park, highly recommend during a sunny day. Some picnic tables to eat lunch too!

Really nice view. Unfortunately, after rain it is “hard to climb up”. It would be great if it would be maintained.

Hella mid in the spring. Went in March and this place is all slush, mud and wind. Great views but similar to anywhere else along the red fences. Likely deserves it’s near 5 star rating in the summer but be warned for other seasons.

Very good place for a picnic 🧺. Can hangout with friends and family and enjoy food and drinks with a great view

Place to visit! Just to be careful, it should be little bit better organised, if you have child, it's dangerous. But the view is amazing. But again... I would be little affraid to go there at night in the dark, because of the rocks. Magic place anyway! Worth to visit even if you sleep in the center!

Came here for an event. Great views of Stockholm, definitely recommend for picnic or just enjoy the scenery. The downhill path might be a little steep if ypu have bad knees or ankles, so becareful. However, the public toilets are out of order when I was there, and from what I heard it was already not functioning for a while.

Nice this is the place from where you can see the Stockholm city...sunset and night view of Stockholm city. Trust me you will enjoy this place and the views. Nearest Metro station is Mariatorget tunnelbana (Metro)

Great viewpoint on Stockholm city center and old town. Very nice surrounding streets with small, old wooden houses (red of course). You can get there on foot from Slussen Metro station (green line) which will take not more than 15-20 min of a nice walk. A place is one of those with seeing in Stockholm.

it’s got the best view. 4 stars because I think this place could have some accessibility stuff (I mean, it’s not like it’s located in the wilderness) and although I love walking on rocks, i think the people with limited mobility should become able to enjoy this view.

  • 4/5 Henry I. 1 month ago on Google • 5 reviews New
Nice park; I’m sure the view would be better on a less foggy day but we still saw good views. I wouldn’t go up with strollers or elders for accessibility reasons.
