Very good...calm place... people gathered there for fun...Teesta Four family is very near from the spar...1 km. Distance away... sitting chairs are available..a Kali temple is there.. people do Puja path there...spar is very beautiful during autumn because of those kaash phul..

It's a great picnic spot,to go out with your friends, family and partner. As it is a riverside area the spots are picturesque. During sunny days you could watch a nice Sunset here. There are some small food stalls, You can bring your own food too. A request to tourists, Don't spread garbage here and there, Keep the cleanliness intact

Just a fascinating place to visit.I and my friends went to this place and we enjoyed there very much. In the white sand beach you may take feel like desert. Very wonderful spot for picnic. Good place for an afternoon walk, this place offers a scenic view during sunrise and sunset

One of the great place of Jalpaiguri town is Tista spar. After living here for 22 years, all I cam say that it is a great place for every kind of people. People like Students, kids, couple etc. It also has great view as it is the side part of the great Tista river. Not to mention that it is also great place for photoshoot and picnic. And the greatest part of this place is, in every year mahalaya ( Bengali festival) 1000 of people gather here.

Best place for Serenity. Mainly Spar No. 3,4,5. Though it is open round the year, best time to visit is in the month of mid September to November to witness Teesta river bank covered with "Kashphool" which look like white cloud. Monsoons are also good time for those who want local short ferry ride in Teesta river. But roaming in the evening are restricted by local administration for safety reason.
