Where to begin? My experience with 'The Wing Experience', an entity of Smokey Bones is not very customer focus. So I place my order for pickup and they say 8:30, Kool. Got there, picked up my order and drove back home. I get home and I can't find anything I ordered. I paid extra for all flats. Can you help me find that plate? Then we both had two different sauces per order of wings, can you help me identify the difference in sauces or if you can find any sauce? Then we paid extra for sauce/seasoning on fries. Not only did we not get that but we got fries that appeared to be sitting waiting to be rescued all day. So I call. "May I speak with the manager, please? That was the best part of the experience. So I take it back. She says, "well I cancelled everything out so now you need to pay for the meal you kept, which is 18.67." My response, "So, I paid $68 for food. You didn't give me a refund but tell me to pay an additional$20." The end result no food or refund and paid an additional fee. My advice don't waste your ENERGY on this experience or with Smokey Bones-Greensboro.

First lets talk about service. Our server was the most unmotivated server I have ever came across. We ordered an appetizer and both had an entree. At minimum she should have table touched 3 times. She only table touched twice. Crazy. Seeing as they we're overstaffed and not busy at all, I do not understand where she was. She never asked for refills on our drinks. Next on this wonderfully awful experience was drinks. They took forever to get to the table. The explanation was there were two new bartenders. Which is fine as long as you get what you asked for. However, we ordered 2 different cocktails that looked and tasted identical. Funny because one was suppose to have bourbon and the other Jameson and spiced rum. We had to send them back because it tasted like bad high-school party drinks. Finally the food. The appetizer nachos were pretty good. Our entrees however were subpar at best. The meat alone is OK. The bread I got served with my entree was soggy on one side and almost stale on the other. I don't know how that is even possible. The Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a cafeteria. My mashed potatoes with gravy were bad. They must have been sitting there for quiet sometime because the gravy actually hardened on top. As you can see in the photos below the food wasn't good barely touched and didn't even get asked if there was something wrong the food but it was clear she knew there was because she didn't even ask if we wanted boxes. I hope someone from cooperate sees this review. They need help.

There was 12 of us who came in to this place to eat. The hostess said it would be an hour wait. No big deal, it’s Friday. BUT there was at least 13 empty tables we could see including a group of tables pushed together already that stayed empty. There were many other people waiting outside for a table as well. By the time we left it was almost 3hrs. After we placed our order, the waitress came back and said they didn’t have almost 6 items that were ordered. There are many other places in the area to eat at. Choose one of them. The plastic silverware was a good touch.

I’m not someone to complain, but this is warranted. I wish you could give negative stars. Against my better judgement we went to Smokey Bones in Greensboro. I wanted to eat at Darryl’s, but they were closed. We walked in and the hostess asked how many. We told her “three”. Then she walked to the other end of the restaurant to talk to someone. We were looked at and the hostess came back and explained that they were short-staffed and it would be a wait. We opted to order it to go, then went outside to wait. We watched as other people went in and were seated or went in and came back out. The ones who were seated all had one thing in common: they weren’t white. The rest of us were not seated. After a bit, an employee came out to tell my husband that they didn’t have any brisket for his toasted cheese brisket sandwich. She stood there, staring at him. He asked if they had pulled pork, she said yes. He said he’d take that. We walked back to the hotel with our food. My husband and son also ordered sweet tea. It was straight tea, which was gross. NOT SWEET. His toasted cheese and pulled pork came WITHOUT toasted cheese. It’s kind of hard to make a toasted cheese sandwich without CHEESE! The pulled pork was dry, nothing on it. My burger was lacking condiments. We paid an offensive $53 plus a nice tip for the lousiest food we’ve ever had. Save the canned response and post the number for Corporate. How on God’s green earth is this place still in business?!

The food was very good and the portion was good too. I ordered a Bahama Mama and not on the menu but she made it and right on point.

Great experience at Smokey Bones Greensboro. We were a party of two and they were very busy with some large parties...so we sat at the bar and ordered Bbq ribs, pulled pork, french fries, baked beans and a bacon cheese burger. Everything was tasty and hot the only disappointment was the burger was small. But the burger was tasty and has lots of tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and onions. We eat here sometimes when we are in the area...the ribs are the best around. Atmosphere is ok.plenty of parking FREE. Bartenders took good care of us. And Michael came out to say HI. Really nice people there. We will be back.

Mark Stevens made a great meal for us. Our waitress was perfect and met all of our needs in a timely manner. Amyah was her name and she was great. Get the Bone Fire for 4. You won't regret it.

My wife stopped here to have lunch which wasn’t too bad. Overall the food was good and the service was ok probably because she was by herself. The place needs a complete makeover though but the manager was nice.

I ordered through DoorDash so I can't comment on service or atmosphere, but the pulled pork was completely dried out and unappetizing. It was picked up and delivered fast so I don't think time was a factor. And no sauce was provided on the side though I had requested one of the options. My sides were baked potato and steamed broccoli, pretty hard to mess up. I will definitely not order here again.

Placed Curbside order online , web site never mentioned anything about curb side service not available “after dark”, on the order it even asked for vehicle description and instructed me to park in a curbside pickup designated parking spot when I arrive. … I arrived and and pulled into a vacant Curbside designated spot and dialed the number on the sign … dialed it 9 times to be exact, it only went to voicemail, no one in the restaurant EVER answered the phone, we drove around to door and my associate went inside and told the lady we were picking up a curb side order and we had been at the curbside pick up area trying to call … her reply, “we don’t take orders outside after dark because this is a bad part of town” … if a service is only available certain hours it should be clearly posted or just disable the feature on the website when it’s not available ., to offer that service and not even have the decency to answer the phone and say you need to come inside to pick up your order is the poorest example of customer service.

Food was well cooked/seasoned. Eating family style with the tabletop grill was fun. The charcoal smoked a lot at first, but once it died down, it did a good job at keeping the massive pile of food on top warm as we ate. We never had to ask our waiter, Caleb M., for refills, and he was friendly.

We are coming for Market America’s convention and happened to visit Smokey Bones. We tried the ribs and sirloin steak and signature bones plates, food and service are surprisingly good! Especially we’d like to thank Caleb McDowell for his good service🙏🏻

First of all, the food was really good. We ordered a bunch of stuff from their ribs, steak, and the sampler steam pot. Make sure you ask if they have any specials going on. The first time we went, they had the buy one get one free on the ribs. The second time, a 16oz glass of beer was included in the rib price. As you can tell, the ribs were so good that we went back a second time. Everything else was really good too but my favorite is the ribs. Now as far as service is concerned, it's not that good. The place was somewhat empty when we arrived but they made us wait 15 mins for a seat. It also took forever for them to get us the water. I think the restaurant is under staffed. Our server on the other hand was very friendly and accommodating. Either way, we came for the food and we left very happy and full. Definitely coming back next time I'm town.

This restaurant offers delicious ribs and smoked wings, also a unique cornbread that is hard to find elsewhere. The food is always satisfying and flavorful. However, the service quality is inconsistent and sometimes disappointing. You may encounter rude and unprofessional staff who ruin your dining experience. The food can also be quite slow sometimes, especially during peak hours. The parking is ample and convenient, but the price is a bit high for the portion and quality. You may also have to wait for a long time to get a table on the weekends. This place has great potential, but it needs to improve its service and value.

Me and the family visited Smokey Bones last Friday and we were very pleased. The food was delicious and on time and the front house manager was very professional and kept us laughing with a big personality accompanied with a smile, it was surprising that he also helped his team and the cooks as well. We eat out often and a lot of managers don't do that. His team worked together as well to get the food out on time and they checked on us often to be sure we were satisfied throughout our meal. I would recommend this location and I give it a thumbs up. We will definitely be returning.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill, and I must say that it left quite an impression on me. Nestled in the heart of the city, this barbecue joint offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and are always ready to provide recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or allergies. Their attentiveness and prompt service enhance the overall dining experience

Service has really gone down over the last couple of years. This latest experience was the worst. Food was old, hard and clumped together. Looked way better than it tasted. Service was very slow and we went at an off hour when few were there. Overpaid for this meal by far!

Teresa the General Manager made our experience at my daughter’s Graduation 👩🏽‍🎓 dinner totally unforgettable! First of all, she was short staffed and made the decision to personally serve our table. She was absolutely the best of the best! Never had a GM that dedicated to making our experience so great!! The food was good but the service from the team here was spectacular! I appreciate all of the attention to detail and the last minute accommodations. I appreciate the love shown to my family!!! Thank you for a job well done!! Miracles&Blessings

I ordered the Mag Nachos with pulled chicken & pulled pork along with the Brisket Soup. The Nachos were good when I tasted it, but they were cold. The plate was the only thing hot. They did bring out another one, but it was just chicken. Thats not what we ordered. So we said we didn't want the dish. Sad that the manager didn't come by to check, but our waitress was great. The soup was good which is why I gave them 4 stars.

Michael, the manager from Smokey Bones, was short-staffed, but he was not too good to be a host, waiter, and manager. In lieu of my wife and I waiting on a table, Manager Mike cleaned a booth to seat us right away. Mike, as he likes to be called, suggested the ribs, which were amazing!!!!!! Furthermore, our glasses were never empty because he made sure to refill our glasses, as needed. This is our first time here. This implies we will be back, and we most definitely will. The welcome was spectacular and the service was remarkable. I wish there was a Manager Mike in every restaurant, but at least we can be sure to find him in Smokey Bones. The ribs came right off the bone. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the drinks were not watered down. Everything was superb. Thank you, again. We both will never forget our experience here and we will be sure to come back for the banana pudding.

The food was good, but the service was not. Moved at a snail's pace; dinner lasted two hours.
