I absolutely LOVE shopping at Bread & Basket! Their mission to promote women of color entrepreneurs and local artisans is a mission I can 100% get behind. Shopping at local, small businesses, and supporting makers in our community is so important to me. I have never been disappointed in the products here and will always stop here first when looking for unique gifts and smell goods. I love the candles, lotions, soaps and scrubs and I’m sure you will, too. Plus, Tiffany, owner and founder, is such a joy to work with and can curate a gift if you need some help! :)

Bread & Basket has a very nice environment, great things in store, and a lovely owner! It is always beautifully decorated according to the season, many goods are made by local artists and artisans. I have gotten food, candles, silverware, stationery, and earrings from here and I am very happy with all of them. Sometimes there’s fun events like pouring candle and karaoke, definitely would recommend here if you are looking for things to do around Battle Creek. The owner Tiffany is very welcoming and warm, she is always super helpful when you have a question. In conclusion, this is a great place to bring a friend for a fun event, pick out gifts, or explore locally made goods and arts!

I always have a great experience shopping at Bread & Basket. This place is a gem that offers a variety of carefully curated clean products ranging from bath and body, candles to accessories, and many more. I typically buy soaps and body butter from here, and they smell heavenly. Don't get me started on their earrings. They're so cute! Not only will you leave the shop with unique products on hand, but you will also feel great knowing you're supporting a local and a woman of color-owned business.

I am so happy that Bread & Basket's owner took the chance on downtown Battle Creek! The old building that houses B&B is a beautiful backdrop for all the wonderful/unique items displayed for sale.

I could start with the prices/quality and how reasonable the prices are for such high quality items. Perhaps I should start with customer service and how Tiffany's joy and passion makes you feel like you are a long time friend. Mmmm, maybe I can start with the business model of Bread and Basket and how this small business owned by a woman of color promotes and uplifts other small business owned by women of color. I can't decide, you should just go and experince this small, mighty and pleasant business in Downtown Battle Creek.
