Very good museum and worth the stop if in the area. Allow 2 hours. The Turkey Museum pass worked with this museum. Parking available out front for no charge.

I remember the excitement that was generated when they discovered a halberd and hauberk armor from within the well; and even though I have known of Jamestown's history from early on, I was especially wanting to check this out. Many other artifacts have stood out in the exhibit as well, and I wish I had more time to check it out.

I have visited numerous times and always love coming back. The docents are friendly and knowledgeable and the exhibits are fascinating. It never takes me long, but I love to go back and look through the exhibits. In the past I lucked into interactive temporary exhibits that were fun and informative. Definitely a must see!

Another great American land mark. It’s very close to Williamsburg so pop over and soak it in. The country side is gorgeous and full of life the curators do an amazing job of restoring and preserving key cornerstones of America’s founding history.

Archaeology museum with Native American artifacts, findings from the settlement, and changing exhibits. First class museum. Always fun to visit and also has a nice gift shop.

Late response. I loved!!, The museum exhibit truly gives you somewhat experience of what colonists experience was and the many struggles they faced. I also loved the facel reconstruction that did on some skeletons that they had. In my opinion it was amazing but certain exhibits I would not recommend you take your child, for example the cannibalization area

Very informative little museum. Shelters the treasures found from the Jamestowne excavations. Today we had the chance to listen to Daniel Firehawk Abbott, a native of the Nanticoke, explaining his side of the story. He also allowed us to question him anything and gave us a huge insight on his way of life, thinking and even belief. We are truly grateful his open-minded spirit and friendliness and won't forget that in a lifetime!
