I’ve been quite disappointed with my experience so far. I’ve encountered problems at every turn. First, our salesman made a mistake with our total and called me the next day to pay more money. It was his error and not the price we agreed to. Next, I received a phone call two days before delivery saying that the pillows that go with the sectional were lost, but they said not to worry— the sectional would still be arriving and they would call me about the pillows in ten business days. Next, after receiving multiple emails and phone calls scheduling and confirming a shipping date, the day before our scheduled arrival, a representative called me to say it was no longer coming. She didn’t volunteer the information of why or when the new arrival time would be (nearly a month later). But yet they are still delivering 2 of 3 small tables I ordered…. Makes no sense to me. Such a disappointment after a long awaited trip to a store with a good reputation. I’m sad I didn’t have the experience I expected. Now I’m just waiting to see if my sectional will actually arrive and if the pillows will ever show up. I would have been better off buying local.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I am a business owner myself and think customer service is top priority to be successful. After spending $$$$ to furnish a new vacation home you'd think that the customer service team would be responsive. There clearly are defects in the 2 ($4000) mattresses sold to me and FLS is being less than responsive asking for photos, then asking for more photos, then not responding to emails once submitted. VERY disappointing and I will be sure to take my money elsewhere.

I will not give any star to this company but only a big zero for its lack of customer service on a defective sectional sofa. (They would not let me post is I did not select a star). For a month I have been trying to get it repaired and am told that it is within manufacturing standards. So sitting on a lump/lopsided sofa is acceptable to them but not to me on a brand new sofa!

There’s a small general store in Vermont with a motto that always made me laugh. “If we don’t got it, you don’t need it.” And when it comes to furniture, I think Furnitureland South can easily make that claim. But even though anyone who comes here already knows this store is the largest furniture store the US, it’s impossible to adequately prepare for why 1.2 million square feet of furniture means. It’s simply overwhelming and more than is possible to see. Which is why they’ll tell you to prioritize and work with a specialist to find what you’re looking for. But even with that understood, there’s a reality you’ll need to accept before you shop here and that’s that much of what you will see isn’t available. We all know supply and transportation issues are a problem right now, but a lot of what this place has is special order with waiting times exceeding 6 months, and typically longer. There is an outlet shop with floor models that are immediately available as well as a small selection of things that are stocked, and it’s worth picking these over for deals. But that can take a day or more by itself and you might still discover that what you’re looking for will only be special order and months away. That’s not unusual from any store right now but it’s worth knowing when you come here. Still, the service is great, the quality is terrific, and the selection is simply unparalleled. So be prepared, and build a relationship with a salesperson who can keep their eyes open for you.

It was good until it wasn’t. 15 months to receive a living room couch. Ottoman is wrong and told them 4 months prior it is wrong. They told me 2 more months to replace but I get a $400 gift card to use at their store. Sales lady definitely doesn’t like being wrong and is very defensive. I spent a lot of money here because my interior designer recommended.

My husband and I arrived at Furniture Land South looking for a specific shape and size dining room table. We were immediately greeted by Taylor and Jayson who offered to take us to all the tables on the floor. They knew exactly where to take us and were very knowledgeable about the manufactures. After picking a table they helped us with fabric choices on chairs. They were so patient and helpful. Their customer service was the absolute best. After we made our purchase they have continued to help us make our dining room the one we are dreaming of!! They have followed up often and have made this such a great experience. We will definitely be buying furniture from these two again!!!!

Updating my review: Not sure they actually want to sell you furniture. Spent an entire day here, was willing to travel back from out of state to finish making selections, but our designer blew us off. Makes no sense. There are one or two other reviews that imply something similar. Not sure what is going on with this place. Original review: OMG. This is the bomb of furniture stores. Other stores have one or two pieces of a set and maybe examples from a handful of sets per manufacturer. FLS has it all. They have entire lines of furniture. Full sets. Multiple lines per manufacturer. Multiple price points. And MOST importantly is you get to work with true professional designers. (Name removed) is the best. It’s worth the trip. Only downside is that their Subway restaurant is purely average. Might be the largest because they have lots of seating but the food itself was no better than any other Subway which is not as good as Jersey Mike’s.

We had the best experience purchasing our sofa from Furnitureland South. The showrooms are full of beautiful selections in a wide range of prices and styles. Cornelia was our sales associate, and she was so patient throughout the entire process. The delivery was timely and smooth, and our new sofa is exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend Furnitureland South for anyone in the market for furniture. You won’t be disappointed!

What a wonderful experience! Had to furnish a whole home which is very overwhelming. Worked with Karen Beverage and and Carolyn Williams who are amazing !!!! Great taste and style. True professionals. They made the process enjoyable and stress free. They helped us every step of the way, room by room so it all flowed.. I have used FurnitureLand South to furnish most of my home. The quality of their furniture is exceptional but what I love most about them are their people! Tim Shepherd is our designer and is helpful, accommodating and gracious! He is very patient with us as we find just the right piece for every room. Their delivery team is careful in my home, kind and very professional. I love this company. I have used them for 17 years and will continue to buy my furniture, lamps, pillows & rugs with them!! They are the best.

Great experience. Very clean and tons of options. We spent a day looking around and then made an appointment a month later to meet with a sales rep to make our purchase. Gary Walker was great. Easy going, not pushy at all, very personable and friendly. He was patient with us as we worked through different furniture configurations for our space and ended up picking a different set than we originally came to get. The whole time Gary was very patient, didn't interfere with my husband and I as we talked through options. Once we decided on what we wanted he also helped us get a good deal on our purchase. We bought furniture for our living room and theater room. Really great experience. We were very impressed.

A large variety of furniture, very good quality, it is better to have an interior decorator or consultant with you because they know where the items located, spare you time and guide you through the huge store(based on your budget). We had Sherry with us and she was wonderful and helped us a lot!Customer service was excellent and fast, I dealt with Annie and she was very cooperative. Delivery was on time ,I gave 4 stars as they are relatively overpriced in some items , the reduced items you have to buy whole set of the room even if you don’t need the side table or something, and despite the large selections some of the regular items frequently bought were not found and you have to wait months to get it Generally it was good experience and definitely worth the long drive.

Wonderful experience working with Natalie Lenahan at Furnitureland South! Found beautiful pieces for our new home and would definitely recommend choosing a design consultant to help guide you. There is so much to choose from and it helps navigate such an enormous space! Very pleased with my decision to travel to NC to shop.

We went to Furnitureland South and met Sherry Howell. She was so kind and very helpful. We would not let us settle for the furniture we pick until she showed us other Brands and options. We ended up going with the furniture we originally pick. We received it on Saturday after months of waiting for it and Sherry informed us of the wait, which we were fine with. We love the furniture.

Amazing experience all around. Shopping with the in house expert on our selection trip was perfect. Organized online tracking system. Delivery and installation also so well done. We had a few product issues at install and those were quickly addressed. All around wonderful. I’ve already placed another order, and look forward to the next as well.

This review is about sales experience only. Have not received furniture yet. The sales experience was the best experience furniture shopping my wife and I have had. Jacqueline listened to us and made great recommendations. She helped us through the entire process. The store is huge with all the styles you could want. Edit: Follow up to the sales experience. Received our furniture shipment and the crew delivering the furniture had to have been the most professional delivery crew I have seen. Clean, courteous and quick. They communicated their eta, set up the furniture, built the shelves and gave us tips on flattening out the rugs. Truely exceptional. If there were more than five stars, I would give more. Will recommend and use for all my furniture and interior design needs!

Great collection available in all budget range with reliable quality. Sales person Katie was awesome. She perfectly understood our needs. She was very patient and cooperative. She helped us wherever she can and we needed, at the same time did not influence our decision making with any biased interest.

I had a great experience passing through this weekend. Stopped in at the outlet center and was met by Jodi C. who was very friendly and explained the massive campus to me. She allowed me to shop at my leisure, no pushy sales. I found a piece I liked, messaged her since I did not have time to return to the store. She quickly answered my questions and completed the sale in a timely manner. So happy we stopped in to "browse". Good quality furniture at great prices. Can't wait to go back with more time and no kids!

They have great furniture. Prices are good if your looking for a designer brand. There customer service is great. But I was disappointed with there white glove delivery. Our bedroom set came and was setup for us. But after they left we found one dresser drawer was broken and one leg on the bed did not have a foot (just a screw nut) THAT DAMAGED OUR NEW HARD WOOD FLOORS. Though I love the furniture having to get this rectified now has been no fun task.

We were greeted by Grace when we arrived. We told her what we were looking for. She showed us the area for leather sofas and gave us suggestions and left us to explore our options. She didn’t hound us about purchasing. Very refreshing. This is our second purchase from Furnitureland South. We were here 15 years ago and also had a great experience. This is why we returned .we love that we were given plenty of time and no pressure to make a purchase. When we were ready, we received help in fabric choices for an accent chair. We will and have recommended Furnitureland South to our family and friends. We felt confident that we would find exactly what we were looking for. Thank you!

Over 20 years ago we bought furniture from Furnitureland Sound and had the best experience. Now all these years later, we went there again to furnish a whole house and the experience was above and beyond! Our Design Consultant, Janice Booker, was the absolute best. She was super knowledgeable, helpful and very personable. After discussing with her what our taste in furniture was, she took us all through their huge store and we found everything and then some. She really listened to what we wanted and was not pushy at all as that is a real turnoff for us. I highly recommend Furnitureland South and Janice Booker!

We are building a house and wanted to buy quality furniture at a reasonable price. We had the BEST experience. The 3 day trip was everything we had imagined. Our designers, Grace Williams and Caroline Youngdale were exceptional. There were no gimmicks, no sales pitches. They were truly there to make our vision come to life. We stayed at the Grandover resort which was awesome and 15 minutes away. All prices were discounted 20-40% off retail. They do all of the work once you order and gather your items to deliver and set-up in our home. So glad we made the trip from Atlanta.

Throughly enjoyed my shopping experience at Furnitureland South! Could spend hours here (and I did)! I mostly stayed to the outlet but was able to find a unique and modern dining table and chairs. They have quite the range of styles and I was happy with the selection. Already planning my trip back!

Before I ever arrived at furniture land, I had a good idea of what to expect. Rose was very responsive. Upon arrival, I met with her and Courtney. We spent about eight hours combing the store for the perfect pieces for my home. I gave them the added challenge of finding in stock items so my house could be furnished right away. They did not disappoint! Rose is very lighthearted, approachable, professional and made the day very fun and stress-free! Although I do not move into my house for a month, I have no doubt that when I do, it will look stunning. I feel like I went into Furnitureland as a complete stranger but left 8 hours later as a friend.

We had a great experience with our design experts at Furnitureland South. We are making a long distance move and our closing date is not in stone due to new construction supply chain delays. Cassandra and Sarah were experienced and handled our needs like the professionals they are. We explained our budget needs, furniture needs, and delivery needs. They directed us to the pieces that best met our description. We literally spent two and one half days walking, looking, and choosing. We are confident we made the right choices. We haven't had delivery yet, but feel very good about its impending arrival in August. Cassandra and Sarah were top notch! They were fun to work with, had a great eye for color and placement, and knew the stock they had at their disposal. Highly recommend asking for them by name!

We have purchased furniture from our home twice and both times the experience was excellent. The plethora of quality furnishing options should satisfy almost anyone. We worked with the same design consultant, Grace Williams, both times. Not only does she have a great eye for design, she listened to our needs and made constructive suggestions based on those requirements and also working within budgetary parameters. We bought furniture from Furnitureland South during the Pandemic (in 2020). As an out-of-state buyer, we received excellent customer service from everyone we interacted with (from our sales representatives over the phone and through email, to the men who delivered the furniture to our home). The men who delivered our furniture (who came all the way from NC to deliver it, and work directly for Furnitureland South) took the plastic shrinkwrapping off our our new furniture outside before bringing it into our home (to try and minimize the time spent in our home, which is very courteous of them), and when they entered our home, they were wearing masks, and made sure we were happy with the furniture, which of course, we were. I hope to visit the actual Furnitureland South store if my travels ever take me to the area, and wouldn't hesitate to buy from Furnitureland South in the future, as they treat us better than our local furniture stores.
