It’s an OK bakery in the neighbourhood. The pricing, variety and the services provided are all to a medium standard. I had burnt basque cheesecake, salted caramel brownie and chocolate donut. The best out of the three was the cheesecake yet the pricing for the other two was more reasonable. They sure can improve a lot to compete with the emergence of the new cafes and bakeries in the colony.

Best in NCR Defence Bakery in Delhi is one of the eldest Bakery, Confectionery and Patisserie of the city of New Delhi. Family-owned Bakery since 1962 continues to churn out exotic confections that meet the culinary approval of the sophisticated Delhi palate. Today, under the vision and guidance of our promoter and Cordon Bleu Chef, Mr. Tushar Dhingra, we continuously innovate to stay ahead. Currently DB has 3 outlets in Delhi: Defence Colony, GK M Block, Panchsheel Enclave and 2 outlets in Noida: Alma Bakery & Cafe sector 104 and sector 142. Welcome to our world!

It’s an average bakery with premium prices. Blueberry cheesecake and pineapple pastry were a big letdown. The breads were fine

It has been ages since I have coming to Defence Bakery for desserts. No words can describe the utter perfection, be it, cakes, patisseries, macrons, muffins, breads, sandwiches, doughnuts, chocolates, cookies, 🍭, or anything else. The rates are extremely reasonable too. They do have imported coffee too. Do it a shot if you are nearby or if you can!! Do try the Opera pastry, it is pure chocolate delight!

If you like pastries and bakery items, don't miss visiting this place. I was alone so couldn't try much but definitely worth visiting multiple times to try their variety of cakes. Some cakes may not be as tasty as they look. But you know it's hard to find good bakery stuff or else you need to visit expensive places. This is were average budget person can enjoy good pastries and bakery items.

Have always ordered their croissants, which are really good (butter croissant goes well with tea also). Recently tried the blueberry cheesecake and the banofee cup. Banoffee was too sweet I felt. The cheesecake was amazing. Although, I dislike the biscuit base they've used for both, it's too grainy and does not mix well with the fluffy desserts.

This bakery runs on its past reputation. Today, when there are so many bakeries to buy from, Defence Bakery is a disappointment. I bought mushroom corn rolls, spinach cheese rolls, paneer Tikka sandwiches , opera pastry. None of the items was fresh, or tasty or wholesome. Not worth eating.

We went to Defence Bakery for the first time and purchased a lot of bakery items to try. The staff was supportive and would assist you very nicely. The bakery was neat, clean and hygienic. Here is a detailed review of the products which we purchased and tried : 1. Butter Croissant : it was FRESH and very TASTY. A must try for Croissant lovers. 2. Plain Rusk : they were fresh and crisp, but the SUGAR was a little more than what it is supposed to be there in rusk. 3. Apple Pie : way too SWEET and totally disappointed with this one. I couldn't feel the apple crunches which a traditional apple pie should have. And I would recommend NOT to put any nuts or raisins in it. 4. Strawberry Berliner : just an AVERAGE copy of a donut filled with strawberry cream. 5. Strawberry Bow : it was NICE & TASTY and was filled with fresh strawberry flavoured cream. 6. Key Lime Pie : again very SWEET and I could only feel the chunky lime flavour. The base (not sure what it was made of) was almost tasteless and didn't feel like it was fresh. Therefore, not as good as it was looking. 7. Italian Tiramisu Jar : very AVERAGE and I can say that I have tried far better Tiramisu than this one. 8. Traditional Plum Cake : highly disappointed with this one. VERY VERY SWEET & I couldn't feel the actual taste of the ingredients inside. Felt like I was eating some kind of CHYAWANPRASH. The price was very high as compared to the quality/quantity of the product. 9. Cheese & Jalapeno Bread : yet to try. Overall, even though the bakery is said to be established in 1962, I felt like it was quite average in terms of taste. Especially, the SUGAR CONTENT of most of the items was VERY HIGH and the quality didn't justify the price of those items. A lot of improvement needs to be done in the sweet items section.

Quality, portion size, taste all going down by the day.. Only thing going up consistently is the pricing.. Which now doesn't match what's being served. Got served a cold veg patty.. What a downer.

Worst Experience!! Microwave was not working so the food could not be heated. Even the billing printer was not working because of which the bill could not be generated. Due to all the panic and chaos, order was wrongly packed. We had asked for chicken sausage roll instead they packed hot dogs. The bakery boasts about being a very renowned and old establishment, then they need to think again. It seems that they are only concerned about money and fooling customers. We were said to take away as the food could not be heated and my kids starved till they got back home. Since the printer wasn't working, I didn't get the bill so I am not even sure how much the items costed. It is not about the price difference but I specially travelled from one part of delhi to your place to your place but didnt get what kids wanted... so its a futile exercise.. It is better to keep it closed rather than to make a customer STARVE. Please be careful before visiting. It might be a one of oldest bakery(as claimed) but not worth it. Now even the kids are cribbing with their worst experience ever.
