I love their sada, masala and podi dosas. They are the crispiest i ever had! They don't add preservatives or soda..so it's healthy. Their idli and sambhar is also good. Some may find the pricing a little high as compared to other cities ..but the quality which he gives here as compared to other South Indian outlets in Rishikesh..is really good. I simply love his dosas, idli and pineapple sheera. Must visit place if you are in Rishikesh.

As someone who hails from Tamil Nadu, I have eaten the best idlis / dosas & had the best filter coffees. The crispy ghee podi masala dosa, podi idli and the coffee blew my mind. Such taste in every element that I ate. Made by chefs from south India, who make special batter and set the gas at a specific temperature for that golden crispy dosa. Hemanth the dosa chef knows his dosa.

After a long search in Rishikesh, we found Melting Idli where we felt like we got water in a desert area. The food was very delicious, please try this place if you love South Indian food. Love from Karnataka ❤️💛

Start with the idli, followed by a crispy masala dosa. Definitely have the filter coffee to end your meal. All food is freshly cooked and retains a perfect South Indian flavour.

This place was my proudest find in Rishikesh. Spotted this small eating joint at the bottom of staircase near Laxman Jhula, which has amazing Ganges bank cafes. I was on my first solo trip and touristy food so far had made my stomach question my choices (not that there were many). This place literally came as my savior. They have the best masala dosa.. crispy, tasty and healthy! They don't use baking soda/preservatives as per what's written outside the shop and it shows. I tried idlis, ghee podi idlis, masala dosa, rava kesari and filter coffee there and all were amazing. Of course, udupi style masala dosa is my favourite.. I had been looking for it in Delhi ever since I came back from Bangalore in 2020 and finally found it here, on my trip to Rishikesh in Dec, 2022. Later, I took my friends to this place for breakfast as well. One fine morning, I saw this young lady serving food to her parents at this place.. later we got to talking and I got to know that she was the owner of the place. She started the eating joint after facing similar food problems during her trip some time back. Hats off to her effort. Her honest intentions with food reflects in the quality of offerings at the place. Her name is Swagatha (trivia - she's a renowned artist from south industry, which I got to know later) Thanks Swagatha for being my Santa during the pre-christmas week and treating me with the best delicacies. This place with its amazing food and hare krishna music gave the perfect start to my mornings in Rishikesh.

Being in rishikesh for almost an year I've been on a hunt for AUTHENTIC south indian food quite a few times. Though people are quite successful in making good dosas but the main test is for the idlis. There are very few places in rishikesh that serve melt in mouth idlis with apt fluffiness and softness. This place is one of them. I had ghee podi idli and filter coffee. The first bite itself took me back in memory lanes of Namma Bengaluru where I had an equally good, if not better idlis. I'm definitely going to try other items on their menu. This is a must-visit place if you are craving for some South Indian food. P.s please add set dosa to your menu.
