Completely fantastic experience and coffee at Ozone in their Shoreditch. Having previously visited their Hackney location, I knew I would get an excellent brew. I was given a seat and ordered their Nicaraguan Drip. It was well balanced and well extracted. If came with a nice card explaining the roast as well. My oat flat white with their house roast blend was nice but I think their oat milk was a bit sour in my opinion... Otherwise great interior, smells, and sounds. A must visit and top 10 for London definitely. If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more coffee reviews!

Easily one of my favourite places for a coffee in London. Ozone does everything with care and perfection. The coffee was of course great but even the food and baked goods were excellent. Service was also quick and efficient. I’d highly recommend Ozone to anyone looking for that caffeine kick.

I had a cup of cappuccino for takeout. It amazed me. The integration of the foam, milk, and espresso was brilliant. I had to go back to the store, as my mission of the day was to buy ground coffee for homemake. (I bought Nova Alianca) the woman at the counter was very kind when she explained which coffee bean would suit my preference more. Definitely want to try Ozone’s brunch next time.

I hadn't visited in a few years, but the brunch was just as good as I remember it. We arrived around midday on Saturday and there was a queue but it moved quickly (~10 min wait). I had the chilli xo eggs with a side of bacon and my friend had the veggie breakfast and they were both tasty. The service was friendly too!

Brilliant coffee, probably one of the best I have had in London. We ordered a Mocha and a filter coffee. The mocha had perfect texture and temperature with a heavenly taste. For the filter coffee they had choice of two blends (which keeps on changing every week), we chose the one with the notes of pomegranate which turned to be brilliant. Be prepared to wait, as they are always busy. Will definitely be back again!

Taste 5/5, after visiting a couple of times But service is very slow…..need to wait for 15min for coffee. But when I sipped the coffee, 15min waiting was not a problem. Egg Benedict is their iconic dish and it is so good. French toast is also tasty. Kedegree and omelette are also good. Pastry is above average.

I always love the coffee and breakfast here. However, I recently found the service is barred me from going back. If you want a relaxing time over your cup of coffee, it would not be happening even when the coffee shop is almost empty because their waitress will keep pushing to order, finishing up and billing. If your appearances are not English or continental, the service could be irresistible, if you are looking at the menu for too long, you would hear the chefs talk to each other about why people are not using‘ google translation’ or your tall blond & waitress could put your napkins to your breakfast plate before you finish your last bit and bring your a wrong bill immediately. I do not recommend this Coffee shop to anyone anymore. I supported them because they support women baristas, but if their service attitude is against non-English customers is not changed, I would not go back.

There's a charming coffee shop located conveniently close to the Old Street Station, and I absolutely adore their coffee. The aroma of their brew is truly unique, possibly because they roast their own beans right there in the store—I even spotted a coffee roaster. Speaking of breakfast, I must admit it's the perfect way to kickstart the day at this coffee shop. The freshly baked bread has a delightful crispiness that pairs wonderfully with the eggs. If given another opportunity, I would definitely make a return visit without hesitation.

This is my niche obsession as a person from Japan - but any Japanese would LOVE syphon coffee as it’s super popular in Japan. I wanted it so badly in London as well and desperately searched for it online - the only cafe I could find was Ozone Coffee. So I went for it. We went there on a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty busy, we waited for around 10-15 minutes, queuing outside. We were asked if we are okay with going to basement seats, and we didn’t mind so they let us in earlier than other people waiting in the queue. Although it looks like the ground floor is more popular, I preferred the basement. There was a massive proper machinery for coffee next to the seats. It was a lot quieter and I loved it. We ordered the syphon coffee and a croissant. Syphon coffee is for share and we could have 3 cups of coffee each, sharing by two. Considering the amount of the coffee, £6 each is totally worth it. And I loved the aroma that syphon coffee produced … it was exactly what I missed! I’d love to try the other coffee menu too next time I visit here. Totally worth if you are a true coffee lover ☕️

I used to go to Ozone regularly few years ago and went back a couple of times recently. Food quality is great, I can’t say anything, it’s really good, but the service can improve. The last time I went it was around 4PM, close to their closing time and we only ordered two coffees and the cake of the day, there was no queue. The cake arrived very quickly but we waited at least 20 min for the coffees. 😱Also, I find it very expensive £17.25!!!! Last time I had the same experience, coffee and brunch, I finished my brunch and still no coffee. I could see plenty of people getting take away coffees.. a suggestion for the management, get coffees before or with food please!!!! I know you can do it!

It’s almost a speakeasy for coffee and brunch lovers as you can‘t quite see it from the outside. Nicely creamy coffee, wide brunch menu served by attentive, friendly staff with a bit of upbeat music in the background. Their vegan menu could be longer, really, but the banana bread alone makes it worth it! Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Ozone Coffee Roasters is one of the best gems in London. Australian-style brunch, mixed with local English favorites. Staff is friendly and shop is well designed for dining with friends or eating/reading alone. If you only have time for a quick coffee, their takeaway flat whites are amongst the best in the city. Try their other location too!

Great coffee, friendly service and excellent food. I love that so much of the menu is made in house and the company ethos of minimal waste. I feel very inspired to make changes in my own business with regards to sustainability after visiting here, i even took home one of the paper menu's to show my team whats possible. I love the venue too, its awesome seeing your food prepared in front of you and the huge coffee roaster downstairs! Will definitely visit again ☺️

Really nice coffee place - they have some nices and big options, and also STH smaller like croissants and so on. The coffee was really good! Would love to go back and try more things - the place smells amazing

Always a wait of more than a few minutes, but the food is quite good, and my friend really likes this place for its vibe. I like the variety of good coffee available here and the baristas who know what they are doing. The whole industrial kind of setup is not really my thing but there are many famous places in London with this kind of setup - helps save space I guess and reduces the cost of additional decorations.

Ozone is in a class of its own when it comes to slightly left of traditional brunch spots in London. Its modern, airy, yet buzzing atmosphere is down-to-earth, industrial, and modern. Coffee is top of class, and the breakfast options, though limited, are delicious. Chilly eggs and mushrooms on toast are highlights. The flavors are spicy savory, yet clean and light on the stomach. Highly recommended.

Probably the most disappointed I’ve been with an English breakfast. I ordered the “Big Breakfast” but it was more like a snack I had to eat somewhere else straight after. One slice of bread… the thinnest sausages ever, the driest bacon I’ve had, the knife couldn’t even cut through it. Tomatoes were decent. And the hash browns at McDonald’s are nicer, as it their breakfast. Come here for the atmosphere, not the food. The coffee was pretty standard too.

The coffee was better than expected. There are many options to order speciality coffees. But it was a shame that the food became more normal than before. The atmosphere is always warm and the staff are friendly. It's better to make a reservation, but you can get in quickly even if you are in a queue.

The espresso was very aromatic with a pleasant acidic aftertaste. Got beans for home brewing as well and they smell great (haven't tried them yet). Interesting interior with a long coffee bar, large sitting area and the roastery in the basement is a germ.

Chanced upon them by luck cause I stayed at an Airbnb near by. There's usually a queue and so I got curious one day and decided to step in. So pleased with myself for doing so cause it was awesome! The food and coffee were excellent and I made sure I dropped by a second time on my last day in London before I flew off!

Really nice atmosphere. Really relaxed with nice music playing in background. Good for catching up with friends or relaxing on your own with coffee and a small bite. However, found it a bit expensive for what it is. Wouldn’t come here regularly.

Simple eggs on toast was very good. Tad pricey but that is London, enjoyed the V60 but coffee was just placed down at the table which I felt for a well known coffee place wasn’t good service. Enjoyed the open plan layout, serving staff were all friendly.

Probably one of my favorite places for breakfast ever. And this is coming from a Brooklyn yuppie. Highlight: the grilled mushroom on sourdough. Your mushrooms have ruined all other mushrooms for me. Together with the pickled onions and the poached egg and cheesey cream...🥴 (They also have a side of mushrooms, so if you don't get the full dish, at least try them on the side.) Idk what it is you do to your food/drinks but whatever it is, keep it up.

Good brunch near old street, Had a toast with eggs and eggs benedict, it was good. They served tea in a very cute teapot. We arrived at 11 in between two rushes it seemed, and I think most people did not have a booking. We sat side by side very close to the take away area (they serve coffee and pastries to go) so I would recommend being three or four to get a proper booth. Overall a nice saturday morning, always find brunch a little expensive for basic ingredients (count 17-20£ for a tea and single dish).

Lovely industrial place to have breakfast. We were lucky to be seated quite rapidly but otherwise it was worth the wait. 3 egg omelette filled with potato, egg benedict and sandwich with mushrooms were all very proper portions with good seasoning and overall taste. Coffee sizes were a bit small - would have liked a bit slightly bigger cup or choice of so. Nice and friendly personnel, clean tables and bathroom. It may be a bit too loud for some as the music was at quite the high volume incl the amount of customers.

The best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. They could have one or two more members of staff as they are very busy and service got a bit slow but the waitress was really kind. Eggs Benedict are absolutely gorgeous and the coffee is perfect

It was our first time at this branch, we came on a Saturday in the early afternoon and ordered two coffees to go. The coffee was great (as Ozone coffees usually are!) This spot is great if you’re looking for the hustle and bustle of a Central London brunch spot on the weekend! The music is on the loud side, which is fine but the London Fields Ozone has a calmer vibe. The staff were friendly, no complaints other than a slightly weird interior layout (takeout order counter has you walking past the waiting area for dine-in, and a staircase headed downstairs attached to the main path to the dine-in area), but this is entirely a problem of the building/interior planning and not staff or management, of course

Had a great time at Ozone Coffee Roasters for brunch. We ordered eggs benedict, potato salad, and nasi goreng. In total we paid about £20-30 per person. The interior design is industrial, with the coffee and open air kitchen right in the middle of the restaurant. The lower level of the restaurant is the coffee roasting machine. Love the entire vibe. Food is decent, nothing to rave about. For my personal taste, the nasi goreng is on the saltier side. However, the coffee tasted wonderful.

Amazing coffee and a great atmosphere, we were sat right at the bar facing into the kitchen which may put some people off but we really enjoyed it. The V60 filter coffee was fresh and full of flavour and came with tasting notes and a brewing guide which was a nice touch. Good prices considering the location too!

A good size cafe with two floors and eat in/takeaway options. Pressed juice was a bit watered down but food was delicious, reasonably priced and good service. Expect long lines on weekend

This place was amazing. My wife had the eggs benedict. Incredible bacon and a massive preference for the bubble and squeak base versus a bread base. I had the kedgeree... oh my. Insanely tasty and we haven't even covered the coffee roasted on premises. Wonderfully friendly staff - accommodating, polite, generous and present. Big fan.

Decent food menu. Pork schnitzel was tasty. Filter coffee was average, an interesting experience and cool decor but forgettable. Service was pleasant and friendly.

Used to like this place as they had great brunch and coffee but recently the quality has been changed. Herb was dead, bacon was too greasy, sausage was overcooked, hash isn’t hash… So sad as I lost one of my favourite cafe:(

  • 3/5 Phoebe P. 2 years ago on Google
I dont get why they charge 3£ for service for one person. U would expect each spend about 25£ for a breakfast here with coffee and juice. The food was good but the coffee was not very tasty. the blend was very odd… Egg benedict with the potatoes cookies underneath was very good.

  • 5/5 Almos K. 2 years ago on Google
Tldr: Highly recommended. Difficult picking something? Try banana bread. They’re passionate at roasting their own beans, so I’ve no doubt on the freshness of coffee they served me. Cold drip is smooth and aromatic, definitely worth a try. Banana bread is so full of flavour, take a dip in that crunchy nut butter and it’ll light up your afternoon.

Great brunch spot with even better coffee! Their eggs Benedict was unique and really tasty, had the trout. Definitely heading here again.

Some of the most interesting coffee I’ve had recently. The espresso tonic with lime was a pleasure as was the cold brew and lattes. So great I came here two days in a row; the first kedgeree the next the eggs Benedict on bubble and squeak. Staff is great; Luca was very helpful.

  • 5/5 Alex S. 2 years ago on Google
What an incredible experience here at ozone! Started with what can only be described as “expert level coffee” then moved on to the banana bread with peanut butter and that is an absolute game changer!! Well worth a visit !

Went for coffee and dessert - fantastic! The cakes are excellent, the slices are generous and they also have some vegan cake options. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. I'll definitely go again and so should you!
