A small cozy place with cheerful staffs. There are limited seats inside so maybe you need to wait a bit to get seated. Flat white is amazing as everyone says and also the canele was really good!

Coming from Melbourne we are accustomed to a high standard of coffee, after being in London for 5 days we were searching for some decent coffee that’s not washed down milk and have finally found it here. The coffee is rich, velvety with a deep palate and perfectly extracted. The place is complemented with pastries of sorts and they offer loan cups for £5 which is refundable when you return the cup, or alternatively sit and enjoy the coffee in their shop. Overall a great cafe with the best coffee I’ve had in London, highly recommend if you’re a keen coffee enthusiast.

Amazing cozy Cafe. The coffee were fantastic, some of the best coffee we've had on Europe. The pastries were also very nice. Each one that we tried was perfect. I really enjoyed my iced filtered coffee. The seating inside is nice but it's very busy and noisy inside so wouldn't really recommend.

Had the regular flat white. It was great due to the great balance between the coffee aroma and the milk. There are many desserts, but I didn’t get the chance to try them. I would do so next time.

Delicious coffee, the smell tells the story. Great baked pastries, love the smaller portion size, they were delicious. Very nice staff. The place is super busy with a nice outdoor seating area. Loved it.

Smart strategy as a roaster. ROI per square feet of space is probably one of the best I have ever seen in major city! Flat white is superbly crafted, well-balanced and the taste is unforgettable! Probably, one of the best cafe in London - delightful, pleasant and with great coffee experience.

The coffee is amazing. They do not use paper cups (great!) you buy a reusable cup and always get it back to put your drink in it. I bought beans to use at home, the lady waa great and explained all the kinds they have. Loved them and would go back again.

My favorite cafe in London. The people working here are so lovely and there is a wide range of beans to choose from. I must also mention that the beans are very reasonably priced! I do wish they had a larger space though..

Honestly ive been hearing about this cafe for so many years and finally did i came. However, the oat flat white is somehow mediocre. You can easily find a similar taste anywhere in town (esp in speciality coffee). Not sure why is it so popular, but the atmosphere was great tho. Worth trying for the friendly stuff and cute decor, but will not queue for this again.

It’s good for people who have obsession about the coffee. Where you can chose the kind of Bean and they will make your coffee cup. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered Filter Coffee and two balls of Cream Truffles, from my point of view; it was normal and nothing special. If you come to spend sometime with nice ambience this place is not suitable for you because it’s very small and not quiet. I recommend getting your coffee take away.

My favourite coffee place in London. They have really great selections of beans from various places and good turnover, so always freshly roasted and there's always something new to try. Great if you like trying new coffee, but maybe bad if you get attached to one. The staff are really knowledgeable and will make recommendations based on what you like and will make up samples if you ask for a taster. Even if you have no idea about coffee just tell them how you usually drink it and they'll make good recommendations. You can buy any quantity of beans and they'll grind it for you as well. I usually just visit to buy my beans, but I'll sometimes get a coffee and a pastry to takeaway as well. They do have a very small seating area, although it's currently closed for covid.

It was such a beautiful experience over here. The vibes and the quality of the coffee and even the dessert is extremely delicious . I’ve tried the flat white and the filtered coffee ( Kenyan beans), Brownie and the amazing Canele. Give them all 100%. And the staff were so helpful which is very rare in London. One thing i didn’t like is the seating area too small and tight which might not be a problem to some people

Coffee is good, but health and safety is very disapponting as staff don’t wear PPE. When I asked confirmation of this today, the three members of staff were not wearing masks despite handling food and drinks and they replied they don’t have to wear them as only customers are expected to do so. There is a huge risk of contagion for customers from staff handling food and drinks without a mask and as a previous customer sadly I won’t be returning to Monmouth Coffee in the future.

They don’t serve paper takeaway cups anymore. There is no sign outside to say this, waste of time queuing. And if I’m honest there’s a bunch of coffee shops in the area that do takeaway cups and the coffee isn’t hugely different. Don’t believe the hype. And Monmouth - you’re not going to save the world with your tiny little shop not serving paper cups. You could start by stopping importing your coffee from far away places - that’s the really damaging part

In terms of coffee itself probably the best in London, even what I ordered was just take-away. Queue was acceptably long in weekends usually. Bit pricey but worth it.

A nice place to hang out with a nice friendly group. I had been walking with my dog there for many days getting an espresso and sometimes on all of their breakfast buns! I have clearly chosen it. The best thing I would like to watch is there is another way to add coffee to the hopper as the most obvious is using red bricks from a rectangular range. Although it is a combination of a prominent house, many coffee homes use it in London to appear as dull to me.

We had a cappuccino and latte and they are smooth and scented. The shop is pretty small with a few seats inside and may be 6 tables outside. You cannot wait inside at all to pick up your coffee as it takes time and is crowded. No decoration with just basic wood desk and chairs. Be prepared to wait because this is so popular. Another branch near Borough market looks better with more 'design' and bigger if you are over that side. This one is just handy near convent garden. If you cannot wait, there are other coffee shops on the same street.

Absolutely flawless coffee. Monmouth coffee have their service down to an exact science. They offer classic coffee options- espresso, cappuccino, latte- but not a mocha. Its a proper coffee and done extremely well. Monmouth is extremely popular. Rarely is there a seat and there's usually a queue. Service is extremely fast so the wait isn't long. Definitely worth popping in. A MUST have is their canele- this pastry is really difficult to make and theirs are absolutely perfect.

I ordered a flat white and a cappuccino. The coffee was simply outstanding, with a perfect balance of flavors. I also appreciated their eco-conscious approach, encouraging customers to bring their own cups for takeaways, which is a small but commendable step towards sustainability.

Beautiful coffee! I ordered an oat milk latte and sat outside for a while. Great cafe to go alone or with a friend. Also, the prices are really good for London specialty coffeeshops (£2.75 for an oat latte)

Hipster coffee heaven! What a cool place! The croissant comes pretty close to the reigning London Champion (the croissant at PAUL) and they make a real effort for all the drip coffee drinkers!

For me, this is the best coffee in London; I also buy all my beans here. Try some of the coffees from El Salvador and Guatemala... beautiful!!! To compliment your coffee, try one of the pastries; I'm not easily impressed but the pain au chocolate and the pain au raisin ARE 'to die for'!!!!! Inside seating is quite limited but it's worthwhile. In any case, it's a nice area to wander whilst savouring your coffee.... enjoy

Monmouth Coffee on Monmouth Street. The best - this becomes my local when I fly in from sydney (…yeah right)… Anyway they have an amazing selection of single origins that can be brewed however you want - pour over, filter, espresso etc…. Super nice shop, super good staff, super good!

I am not particularly a coffee person, so I won’t comment on the quality of coffee (it must be great based on the reviews) I ordered one latte(£2.9) and one almond croissant(£3.3), both were pretty nice. They have seats hidden at the back and you pay afterwards. The staff are all really friendly (and busy!). The place is really popular even on a rainy Wednesday morning.

Fantastic place to get a takeawat coffee, even if the option to drink inside is no longer avalible due to COVID. Monmouth also has a wide selection of (in my opinion, the best tasting) coffee beans avalible for you to take home. They'll also grind them to various degrees if you don't have a suitable grinder.

This used to be my favorite coffee shop in London a few years back. However the last time I went there, the coffee didn't taste as nice. But in the summer they should still have their great Iced Latte, which is probably the best Iced Latte in London. Most of the times there are long queue to sit in because the shop is very small so better take away.

Lovely coffee but upsettingly the person serving me was rude as I didn’t have a mask on - I am exempt and I do not need to be questioned at every venue I attend - it brings back unpleasant memories every time I’m asked. Your signs are more than enough to remind people without making me feel unwelcome and bring back horrible memories. Please re think your policy.

Good coffee but hard to make a choice as the flavours of the beans are not really well presented. Taste differences should be easier to grasp without having to ask about every single origin to the staff. Nevertheless I always buy my coffee there as they know how to grind it perfectly for my aeropress.

It was very inefficient and I had to attend the same table as the others. Still, the bread and coffee were satisfactory. + How are the staffs all kind here? ...
