Lovely night at the Fleet Christmas Festival. Free mince pie and glass of wine (what's not to like), lots of crafts and gifts in the Hart of Craft market, local singers Laura Loh and Mandy Dineley, Autism Friendly Fleet Chill Zine, Hart Lions Light up a Life and the opening of Santa's Post Office. Great atmosphere and an enjoyable evening.

Dreary and depressing. A pretty dire example of a shopping mall. Closed units and concession stands. Hopeless feel. Such places are all too common after councils of all hues have shafted the shopkeeper with ridiculously high taxation. One cannot help but think entrepreneurs are being purposely destroyed to pursue the goal of centralising power in the hands of multinational mega-corporations.

Local precinct type shopping centre in Fleet with a good variety of shops and choices.

So sad to see so many units closed up. It was always such a vibrant set of shops. Even a trip to Costa on the corner was a huge let down. Staff could not be bothered with their customers.

A shopping centre full of mostly empty shops. One positive is that it is free parking on a Sunday. Real shame as the centre used to be brilliant.

The epitome of modern day high street shopping. Most shop fronts are closed and the ones that are open are the usual chains

Lovely independent shops as well as a couple of chains.

Many of the shops have closed. The centre owners are Chinese and don't care, in fact it looks as though they'd prefer it empty and quietly appreciating in value.

The few shops that are still trading..less than half are great. But if you think that every shop is open. Don't go..like a ghost town. Rymans and Waitrose are all worth going to. Bur both either end of the centre and inbetween both shops you pass very few shops that are open.

    Not much there these days

Very nice shops and not very busy, I felt it needed more life as some places were closed down.

Very quiet shopping centre. A lot of shops sit empty. Needs a bit of a revamp.

Just yet another empty dying old shopping precinct. Good place to get out of the rain and has toilets. Not much else to say.

Basic centre with a limited selection of shops. Seems consistently clean and tidy.

Fine for what it is. Very aged inside. Parking entry tight for modern cars

Fleet has a good selection of smallish retail shops both in the high street and in the adjacent under cover shopping parade

Like other shopping centres. Some shops had closed down

Was disappointed to see items in the £ shop that were not animal friendly😔. I think these items should be illegal😡Glue traps are cruel, both for animals and insects. It takes hours sometimes days to die😿😥😓. This spoilt my shopping trip that probably would have been, otherwise, good.

The cheap, all weather car park attached to this shopping centre is handier than it seems for the central facilities of the town and cheaper than other carparks nearby and the pedestrian exit is super-handy for Waitrose. Major problem: the parking spaces are too narrow and many have a pillar alongside. I took 15 attempts at entering one of the remaining spaces and on my final entry badly damaged my wingmirror. ● Slim customers with skinny cars who are ace at parking or with a smart car: this is the perfect car park for you. ● Customers with a big car: avoid!

5* for what it is but dont get too excited. If you want large then go to Reading, Guildford or Basingstoke, but it's ok for the size of Fleet. Has mostly essential shopping, plus coffee. Free parking on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Not exactly filled with exciting shops. A Smiths which seems to operate with almost no staff or lighting, the lovely fabric shop is going, and a few of the staples without which there would be little to bring people in to Fleet at all. Unless of course you want a coffee or to eat out.

Sadly. M&Co had only low rise jeans which I find extremely uncomfortable. So I came away empty handed. I will buy fashion but only if it is comfortable. Never been any other way. Comfortable fashionable womans clothing.

What has happened to this place! 1980's throw back! 50% of the shops major high Street stores have closed. Most replaced by small independent shops. Costa was busy on the day I visited and so was waitrose.

This place has seen better days, half the shops are vacant. If Waitrose left, which I don't think will happen, this place would die. No EV charging in the carpark eithet and management have "no plans" to install it which I find very odd for a place you would imagine would be desperate for extra footfall. The only and biggest positive for me is the staff in the car park office. They regularly validate my ticket as I'm a member of the gym and they are always polite and friendly

A little outdated but had a few nice shoes to walk around, they have a clip and climb for the kids which was great they loved it! Great place to go let the kids have fun while the adults grab a coffee in peace and wonder around the shops.

I get the feeling the empty units say (unofficially) the landlord has hiked the rent up so much that only big companies can afford to pay it. Shame.

Worst shopping centre landlords are stuck up there arse thinking they have power by intimidation my business forcing me to Not sell cartoon products, big business crushing small business and you wonder why… Colliers International are international crooks you will have your day in court. As for the staff, 2 of the rudest Women I have ever had the please of meeting. This place is poorly managed and management need sacking. Won’t be long!

Don’t have the shops that they once used to. Much quieter than what it was, unfortunately. Worth a visit but couldn’t turn up and expect a massive variety like could have in the past.

Nice, tidy and airy. Reasonable selection of shops though, like many others, there are a lot of empty units 😕.

Shopping centre has seen better days. We were there for a party, and it was surprising how many empty shops there were. It's not our local, so was quite surprised how much it was struggling. Does have a climbing wall in the middle of the centre, so it is trying to add to the experience. More interesting uses like this please and hopefully more other shops will appear as well, albeit I think we all know that retail is very much struggling at the moment.

Good shopping 👌right in the centre of Fleet. All the big major shops and a couple of smaller ones

A strange place, this. Having recently moved to the area I’m unaware of what this centre May of been like in its peak, but as of 2022/23 it’s a bleak place to shop. Kinda of a non-event with a lot of empty shops which adds to the lack of atmosphere.

There's not a lot left in there. Lots of empty shops, no places to eat or drink apart from Costa

  • 2/5 Juleigh B. 1 year ago on Google
What a sad state of a mall. 2/3 of the shops are closed. Life needs to be brought back there. The climbing walls however are absolutely brilliant 👏

I am very impressed with the service. The staff are friendly and helpful and did not rush me at all. I was able to take my time and get good value for money.
