TL;DR: Sanjha Chulha is an above average restaurant that is both budget and family friendly. However, the food is not what it used to be. There was a time when Sanjha Chulha was considered one of the good restaurants near Lawrence Road. The only thing they could have improved upon was décor and ambience. Fast forward to 2022, the interiors have been upgraded but sadly, the food quality has gone in a downward spiral. Basic breakfast items like Kulcha Chane and Lassi have become poor in taste. Chane are partly-cooked Kulcha reeks of vanaspati ghee. Even the crowd favorite Amul butter couldn't save it. 10-12 years ago, I used to have Kulcha Chane every Sunday but today the Kulcha failed to stimulate my taste buds as it used to.

I am Ashmeet Singh. Today we will talk about 'Sanjha Chulha'. I went today to the Lawrence road to visit at 'Sanjha Chulha'. I was with my family to had a lunch. We ordered special Thalli it's cost is ₹280. It contains the following:- 1. Kadhai Paneer 2. Dal Makhni 3. Shollay 4. Butter Naan 5. Gulab Jamun It was so delicious 🤤😋 and yummy My mouth was watering. Service was also fast and good. The dishes were made clean. The sitting place is awesome 😃. I saw this being praised by various food critic so I went in. To my delight it's really worth the price and the effort. Really delicious food.

#amritsardiaries My top choice for Amritsari Kulcha remains Monu Kulcha Hut but that's situated almost at outskirts of city and is extremely crowded. Besides seating isn't that upmarket for family visits.... so my second best choice as always remains Sanjha Chulha Amritsar situated at the most happening Lawrance Road area. It has air-conditioned seating with reasonably acceptable hygiene and overall good package with excellent fast service. We ordered our usual favourite Aaloo Pyaaz Kulcha and additionally ordered Mix Kulcha. Both are flawlessly perfect with flaky and crisp texture. Filling is adequate and flavourful. Channa are mild and well cooked without any excessive addition of Soda Bicarbonate. Chatani is well balanced without being over spicy. It's a great kulcha overall and is highly recommended. We also got few Kulcha packed for Delhi and kept enjoying them for next few days by reheating them. Not as good as the freshly served ones but still better than all other options available in Delhi NCR. The last 3 pictures are of reheated kulchas clicked back home at Delhi. Tips to follow if you plan to get Amritsari Kulcha packed.... ▪︎Ask vendor not to apply butter on top ▪︎Cool kulcha and channa in open condition to reach room temperature before sealed packing them ▪︎Avoid packing Chatani for being liquidy... it tends to leak and gets spoiled very quickly ▪︎Store kulcha and chana in refrigerator (Not freezer) ▪︎Reheating tip... heat each kulcha for 20 seconds each side in microwave followed by roasting on each side over low gas flame. ▪︎Apply butter on top after completion of reheating ▪︎Heat channa in microwave Bon Appétit

Service is very slow. Potato onion, Garlic etc. Amritsari Kulcha is available here. It's very tasty if you don't care about calories...

Nice place, kulcha is one of speciality of this place. It's crunchy and flavorful. I tried aloo kulcha and this was amazing. I recommend you to eat mix kulcha which is mouthwatering.

Food was amazing, we ordered almost 6-7 varieties of kulchas with lassi. Genuine rates and good ambiance. Everyone must visit once.

Overall experience was satisfactory. The food was delicious but ambience could have been better. The table should have been cleaned properly. Paneer Bhurji and bread were really good.

The best in town, Amritsari kulchas are available at this place, which are great and will be cherished and liked by everyone. Served hot with unlimited quantity of cholas and butter to top-up they are simply awesome. Although the place is a bit run down in terms of cleanliness but the delicious food makes up for everything.

Basically ,Sanjha Chulha hv 2 branches : 1. Near Golden Temple--> katra Ahluwalia 2. Lawrence Road While entering this place the instant smell of kulcha's were Welcoming .I Like traditional Shahi Paneer & Chilly Cheeze here. Both d dishes over exceeded the expectations. The food was extremely delicious. This place has seems like a homely feel .The staff r courteous too nd d service is fast.

Very poor experience on Zomato with this restaurant. Your cold coffee leads to nausea among me snd my colleagues. Please dont visit this restaurant. We have thrown cold coffee in dustbin.

Before it was really cool, me and my family use to often visit here, ofc for Kulcha's but now there Kulcha's are bit overrated! Still a good family restaurant

Ordered food from Swigy. Terrible taste, used Maida for roti, burned misi roti..had to through 80% of food. I don't know why I see 4.0 rating for this restaurant... paid reviews?

The food was decent, not out of this world though (Compared to Amritsar standards). They can really do better at serving customers though. A little politeness and professionalism can go a long way.

Nice clean in your budget place. Good staff and they don't make you wait endlessly. Parking is an issue but it's supposed to be when close to Lawrence road. Food is very nice.

One of the Best location at Amritsar for Authentic Kulcha. I had it here for more than 30-40 times and they never disappoint me. Colour of Kulcha speaks of quality. Reasonable price. Not to be missed Place while visiting Amritsar.

Great food. Ordered for Tandoori kulchas - different varieties such as Paneer, Alu pyaz, onion garlic etc. All were outstanding.

Food was okk not tooo good the most embarrassing thing was that we had to wait a lot while order being prepared and delieverd... We were really hungry n till. We got our order we felt. Sad...

1. Hype is waste. If u want punjabi food like kulcha or chole bhature, go to some other place. 2. naan was ok, Bad Manchow soup, worst oily paneer masala, kulcha was too salty & bad.

Sanjha Chulha is a nice place to enjoy Indian dishes at a reasonable price. They have maintained same taste as they were providing years ago. Car parking can be a task ifbone is visiting at peak hours .

Food quality is good Cleaning and hygiene must improved. Freedge and other storage area is very dirty. New cold coffe portioning is very less not value for money .

Amazing kulcha. I ordered one aalu kulcha and one mix veg kulcha. Both were very yummy.

After eating kulcha chola I did 10/15 vomiting 🤮.all kulcha stuffing,came out.i think the chola& onion chatney was not fresh after reaching my destination vomiting started very badly.my whole trip spoiled.better is brothers kulchwala near gurudwara,higenic also with good taste
